Wonderland Divided Interest Check

Hello, all! I've been wanting a good, lasting Wonderland roleplay for some time now. No, this won't be based on Tim Burton's little rendition, but rather this will be more "original." Not that I really have any idea what Burton's up to! Anyway, my idea would be very simple: Wonderland has become divided by conquest between the Red Queen's queendom and the White King's kingdom. Neither side is more just than the other as of this moment - I leave it up to whomever plays the Red Queen and White King to determine their own agendas. Perhaps a personal feud or a misunderstanding sparks a rivalry between them?

I will be tackling the role of the Hatter, a female one, in fact. Hatter is a neutral character, her actions fueled by her own intentions. She doesn't let people stand in her way, not the King or Queen, and certainly not Alice. In her past, she was a toy to the Queen, and once she managed to escape, there have been cards chasing her all throughout Wonderland. She's created a mobile home, so to speak, complete with every thing this social little nut could possibly need.

Alice will be played by my dear Lacey. I'm not entirely sure what she has in store for the rest of us, but I know that she can definitely play the part.

This will be Alice's second trip to Wonderland.

All remaining parts (other than Hatter and Alice) are open! I would strongly encourage that someone play the Red Queen, as she is extremely important, and could easily be a fun character. Original characters are welcome, but please run any ideas by me before you run off and create this character.

I found this of the Cheshire Cat as depicted in the upcoming movie. I like him. Much different than the pink and purple stripes of the 1951 version.

Anyway, I would say that we ought to begin with our character profiles, However, we are missing a very few, very essential characters. I would like to have a White King, a Jabberwocky, a Caterpillar and a White Rabbit. If we don't get takers within the week, some of us may need to buckle down with a second character. You're all welcome to choose, too! I won't be pushing anything on anyone. This is meant to be fun : D

Hmm, you know what, I just reviewed the list of characters and I'm listed as the Queen of Hearts. I thought I was the Red Queen? Are we blending the two? I'm cool with it, if we are, I just need to know.

Also, I'm still willing to pick up a second pc!

Since many of us are playing canon characters, we really only need to describe where they deviate from the norm. Original characters, of course, will require more explanation.

Just so everyone knows we aren't dead, I'll post for my second time .___. Tonight Psyche claims she is going to begin working on the character sheets, so everyone start thinking up what information you wish to leak up front!

Keep in mind, of course, that we're not expecting to know every little detail about your characters right off the bat, it's always best for you to leave something for yourself to work off of, reveal things later on, it just makes things more interesting!
