Yes it will! Dax, get to it, and after that, if anyone else wants to post you have until Silvone posts to do so. Then we will conclude the council!

Re: Emoria: OOC
I just read Kalon's post and came to the stunning conclusion and decision that Jean is going to keep his mouth shut for the sake of everyone's sanity and, of course, to get this council over with.
So, Silvone, if you please, end this chapter of Emoria!

I can't believe it.
Alright, I think Silvone can have it done by monday. Hopefully. So if anyone wants to post before then, please do so.

Lines will be drawn...
Destinies set in motion...
Friends torn apart...
And new alliances will be tested...
The world is changing, shifting and drawing ever closer to war...the earth shakes in preperation, as the nations look for the evidence to solve the great kidnappings...
Emoria will never be the same again.
On August 23rd
The Council Ends.
Their Story Begins.
Destinies set in motion...
Friends torn apart...

Of course, that was all said with a world-class montage, dramatic orchestra.... and the voice of William Shatner.

Hahah! I almost want to stick that in the beginning of the Emoria Information thread. LOL! Poor Silvone, he just happens to have an nine hour shift tomorrow instead of the usual five.

That's a great idea!
IT SHALL BE DONE, even if I need to get photoshop to do it. Awesome.
Cross-references are fun!
Also, plague, what's that you're saying about elves? I'm insulted.

Re: Emoria: OOC
I actually have Monday off this coming week, so as long as my son is bearable, I should be able to read the few posts I'm behind on and then end the council. I will describe how the posting process will work through the post as well as in an OOC post here once it is up.
Congrats, everyone, on making it through the Council (I think it rivals Tolkiens...).

It may rival Tolkiens.
Soo much bad-mouthing, old hatred, old friends.... and, like Ryona said, a bunch of silent elves who stand up and argue on command. Lol.
Sorry, I actually laughed a good five minutes at that because its so TRUE.

We also had several dark representatives. Like Asmodeous who was completely ignored. That still annoys me.

Re: Emoria: OOC
So...I posted a short conclusion to the prologue, so it is now officially closed. No more posting there, please.
There are some things I need to mention now, before we move on.
1. Before posting anymore, everyone needs to decide where they are going and who they are going with. I don't really want to have a bunch of mistake threads cluttering this section, so we need to make it clear before heading out. We should all probably list our groups and destinations here in the OOC for the benefit of everyone.
2. Each thread will be designated by area, as we have already seen in the two threads outside of the Prologue. For example, anyone traveling to Valinyx can use the Chapter 1: Valinyx thread once they reach that area (i.e. Blackrock). Anything roleplayed before reaching Valinxy can be placed in a different thread for that particular location. For example, if Blackrock goes back to his homeland before venturing further north to Valinyx, he can make a thread for that section, and then abandon it for Valinyx. It can always be revisited later. However, we should probably limit this, because we may end up with several areas that only have one or two posts in them per chapter. That would be an annoyance, I imagine. But if no one really cares, then by all means go ahead
3. There is the issue of groups getting ahead in terms of time, and then shaping events in a way that others may not like. Beyond the simple fact of posting any major plot ideas in the OOC to be discussed, each chapter will have a limit of one month. So, for example, Chapter 1 will be one month long. That could be 29-31 days, or whatever. I don't really care. We could invent a whole new calendar if you want. Or we can just say every 30 days is a new chapter and ignore actual months completely.
The best way to keep track of this is to have a timestamp at the top of your post. If you have a problem keeping up with that (Ryona expressed her concern with it), then please just keep track of your time outside of your post, and try not to go too far ahead. I will be keeping track of mine with timestamps, since that is what I am used to.
When you reach the end of the thirty days, I would prefer if you wait for everyone else to catch up before moving on to the next chapter. However, I understand that this could be a problem if some groups are moving quite a bit faster than others. But it is important that we leave room for everyone to shape events in the way they seem fit in their particular area. So, if your events are constrained to your own area, then feel free to move ahead. However, if things are becoming more global, where events that are happening in your thread could impact everyone else's threads, please be patient and wait for the others to catch up.
As usual, if you have any questions or concerns about any of these rules, please post them here. Nothing is set in stone. I just want some basic rules to keep this moving smoothly. They can be changed at any time.
With all that said, begin talking!
P.S. You don't technically have write out going to the council room to speak with Salia to tell her where you are going. As long as everyone is clear on where you are going (as in you posted it in the OOC), then you can just reference it as it has already happened. That way you can get on with your story if that is what you prefer. You can also do it the other way around, if you wish. It is entirely up to you. But, for the sake of constintency, please at least mention somewhere in you post that you have spoken with her.
If you read all of that, thank you. If not...shame on you. Shame on you...

I have a treat for you guys. I spent a whole whopping 20-30 minutes on this[pahaha]- so go take 3 minutes of your time to look! I think it will be worth the time . [due to all the talk about the epic post about the closing of the meeting]
I posted a video up on youtube. It's still processing so it may take a bit.

Re: Emoria: OOC
Awesome end post, Silvone.
(can't wait to see Spectre's video! xD still processing)
Okay, so for me, here are the threads I'll need for sure, during Chapter 1.
Chapter 1: Nolwë Osto (or, The Great Library, or both, or whatever)
Chapter 1: The Mountains of Night
That's where I'm going: The Mountains of Night. Along with buzzwulf, naturally, and whoever else (if any) going there as well.
And I don't know yet, but I might also need
Chapter 1: Aendrel
Especially if I get around to making a character sheet for Alos. Then again, we might not get to Aendrel until chapter 2 or 3 -- hence the uncertainty. I guess I'll let you know.

Re: Emoria: OOC
well it turns out i can't post it on youtube because my adobe premier elements keeps crashing for no reason, and i'm way too lazy to fix it. So, i can't fix the video format [to FMV or something]. SO. Unless you guys have Adobe premiere elements, and can get my file, open and change it's file type, it is unavailable to the public. D: D: D:

Re: Emoria: OOC
That sucks that we can't see the video! I'm sure it was awesome!
Kalon, I think that we should just post traveling to the destination in the destination. Everyone will be starting off in Nolwe Osto, but I just assumed that we'd be placing them in the chapter of where we are going. For example, my character is going to say she's going home, but she's eventually going to end up going to Fermata with Silv and HD, so I am going to post in Chapter 1: Fermata.
I know that in the end it doesn't make the most sense, but I think it makes the least amount of clutter. if anyone has a better idea let me know, but I want to keep as few chapter 1's as possible.
Edit: I can see where it seems I am contradicting Silvone, but I am just trying to avoid ending up having five Chapter 1: Nolwe Osto threads or, worse, all of us having to post in the same thread until we reach our destination. I just think it would get things rolling quicker if we make the assumption that our chapter title reflects our destination and not our current placement. The only reason to have to jump threads would be if we end up in a location of a pre-existing thread. That is not likely to happen for a while considering we are all going to very different places.
I should also officially state that HD, Silv and I are going to be investigating Fermata.
Edit 2:

Not just that. At the end of your posts, you need to allow there to be a sig. My little box was unchecked. If you can't add your signature, than you can't fix it by just using the quick reply box. You need to actually leave a reply, and then the option to allow a sig appears below the text box.
Edit: this, for example, isn't fixed. It's on a post-by-post basis.
