I'll see what I can do with it BoH, I mean I'm not the best at Photoshop but I do think I'm pretty decent. Very Happy

-Points to my avatar-

I just made that because it ties to my character. In that...well those are what her eyes look like. The way that we're making this out (as Gunneh, Squall, and I decided in conference) is that the plot centers around people becoming warped by SP, in otherwise losing their humanity to the the machine. Think of it like plastic surgery only more mechanical than humane.

My character's eyes are artificial but make one hell of a nice perk. Very Happy

But yeah...

Since there are two different teams we'd have to have two separate logos though BoH (is there a particular nickname you like to go by?). So everyone keep looking for logo numero dos. If'n no one can find one well we can always draw something up ourselves.

BoH is fine. <3

As for another logo, I can try and find another. It shouldn't prove too difficult.

I love the premise, by the way.

And, without much delay, two other possible logos.

Sigh, the technology itself isn't called steampunk by the people in the RP. To them its just...well...technology. Also, the Shadow Master would just be plain evil, not absorbed in himself based on the technology. I do agree with him ripping the soul from Servo, though. That makes me very happy :DD

Also, the RP isn't going to called Steampunk Supers. It's going to be called Straight Jackets and Aviator Goggles

I came across this topic and it looks incredibly interesting; however, I believe you are full. I thought I would express my interest regardless in case someone drops or you need more people.

Thanks!

Either or or both, I believe.

I have nothing to add at this time, I think the job done was excellent. I do have one question/suggestion though.

Since you said that there are two player factions, which are GOOD, then how will they come into conflict with one another? I propose that one faction is a government law keeping body, while they other is a vigilante group.

You can have both.

Anaris for example, will be born with a her usual electric abilities, but she is able to stop/freeze/travel through time with a watch her father made.

You are allowed one main ability that you were born with and a secondary ability that is strictly made from technology/magic.

If you don't have a natural ability, thats fine. You can just have a technology based ability.

ALSO!
Try not to copy abilities unless necessary! I do NOT want another time traveler since Ana has that as her secondary ability.

@Dio:: What you said is basically right. The two groups are constantly trying to show up one another when they are doing their Hero thing. In real life though, some of them may get along just perfectly and be best friends. The conflict centers around the two while in Hero mode and it will grow more once they find out who is who in their real lives.

Sounds awesome. I can't wait for ya'll to meet Natalie "Hack" Le Bourgeois. I figured I would play a nice cajun character. And by 'nice' I mean 'sick'. This one should be fun for me.

Ok so pretty much you're just saying that they're going to be bad for no reason? When does that EVER make sense? And another thing why would it be so bad if people become consumed by technology? It happens all the time in RL, people can become so obsessed with something that they lose who they are. You guys asked for a plot. We gave you one.

I'm going to have to roll with Sigh on this one. Villains need a back story, a reason to be bad. Plus it's that great thin line of when does technology stop being a tool we use and start becoming who we are. Villains who are evil just to be evil are so boring. It takes those very rare characters to make it exciting. IE the Joker. But the rest of the time it comes off as a carbon copy of the others.

Perhaps they start using their new technological powers to enslave people. Think of 'ghosthacking', if you have ever read or seen "Ghost in the Shell".

I'm not saying that all of them don't have a backstory, I'm just saying that the Shadow Master is one of those people who I see as "evil for the sake of being evil." Maybe he's demonic, maybe he's a warlock, THAT is something we can add upon, but I don't want to think of him as a goodie gone bad. I want to think of him as Voldemort on steroids.

That phrase just made my day, Gunneh. I am laughing so hard right now due to the odd mental images it is causing.

I don't mind one "evil for evil's sake" character. The others would likely have their own motives for following him.

So, I was thinking up powers and here is what I came up with for Hack.

- can create and control electricity and force blasts of “thunder”,
- can generate lightning from her left hand,
- can launch an uncontrolled explosion from her left eye if opened, though only in daylight as it is entirely solar-powered and takes three seconds to charge

Dont leave us Sigh! Please! D:

@Hermes :: that would be an awesome idea, but I've got Anaris using electricity and such as her main ability. You could use is as a secondary ability with the technology aspect behind it, but I'd rather super powers not be copied or anything. I'd like us all to have different main abilities.

edit :: I like the third idea you had.

You kind of stole time travel.

I had planned to let loose one of my oldest creations but he won't be compatible anymore.

Does rapid mutation of the body work for a power?

I didnt really steal time travel... I had that in mind from the start when I came up with this idea.

Is time travel his main ability or his secondary?

Rapid mutation works. Yes.

It could be a secondary ability gained from her artificial arm. I suppose she could cause things to explode. That could be her main power.

Oh, shit. Now she's like a female Gambit.

Time travel was an offshoot of his/her true ability. It is sort of a symptom of the bigger power.

He/she doesn't really travel through time per say but to others it would seem that way because they would lack the frame of reference to understand what he/she really does. I suppose technically it is a bending of reality that can allow on occasion for what appears to be time travel to take place.

Okay...

When it comes to character's abilities, I'd like to see some things I haven't before as main abilities. Hermes, what you have is fine and now that you've explained it Raptor, you may use that.

MAIN ABILITIES can NOT be copied.

SECONDARY ABILITIES can be.

So in the case of Ana and Raptor's character, they can both time travel/bend the space time continuum in a way.

Secondary abilities can be copied because they won't be used as often as main abilities.

Understand?

Ok, well in that case I call something having to do with eyes as my character's main ability! I've been working on Via for a while now and I would hate to have to rewrite her as well. Very Happy

Speaking of which, does anyone have any cool ideas as to what exactly her eyes can do? I've been racking my brain on that one. I was thinking that she is able to read people but that's not really that great of a super power. >_<

Yes but that would be very difficult to RP with so many different characters being played by so many different people. I myself would have to be able to know what your characters would be doing before they actually do them. Hence the problem. Very Happy
