A different kind of supers rp
Welcome!
I’ve been expecting you. I still can’t believe that you have an interest in the school herald. Now that you are here let me show you around.
Oh That!
That’s the “Wall of Weird”. Nothing quite as spectacular as Grandma Chloe constructed back in her days with the Torch. But it’s weird just the same. Strange things have happened over the last year here in Smalltown USA, but you knew that. Why else would you be here seeking my help? It stated out as a scrapbook of the unexplained… and then it just kind of mutated into this!
What kind of strange you ask? Well it all kind of started for me with the disappearance of Noah Body a teacher here. Why there? Well, he threw this huge party as he does every year at Halloween for the students and then well just seemed to vanish after that. Him and his pet chimp, although several of the students swear the have seen Harry from time to time roaming the campus.
Oh! And then there are the freak weather anomalies; unexplained static charges disrupting electrical devices; flowers pink one minute blue the next; cold viruses popping up in the middle of summer; the list goes on. Sorry I got a little carried away there. It’s all so exciting, looking for answers that is. I can’t help but feel it is all connected.
Over the past year several individuals have begun to display signs of super abilities. While not the garden variety of super powers we have come to know of through the stories of old but a new generation of individuals ready to make their mark upon society whether for good or for evil.

League of Substitute Heroes (AKA The Inferior 5)
Thing is, the BME is completely out of hand and the NSA is now starting to investigate. What you need to do is keep the NSA from finding out about everyone's powers and keep the BME from doing too much damage. You want to live in obscurity with your powers.

Alright here is some additional information on the Inferior 5. Headquarters is an old firestation. The firehouse has two stories and is pretty large, so don't fret about space. We have a garage that holds all our equipment and a state of the art security system. Downstairs we have the kitchen, the dining room, the living room, the garage, the library, a workroom, two bathrooms, and an extra bedroom. Upstairs we have four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and another workroom. The downstairs workroom is for studying, going over plans, etc. The upstairs workroom is for anything related to stuff we don't want anyone else to know. There's a basement, where people can get a better grip on their powers or just practice a bit.
So, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two workrooms, one kitchen, one dining room, one living room, one library, a garage, a basement and a cool red firetruck.
Brotherhood of Mutant Evil
You're looking for attention and glory. You are inspired by your newly acquired skills and want to use them as much as possible to create disturbance within the quiet streets of Smalltown. You are being thwarted by both the League of Substitute Heroes and the more recently the NSA. Both will have to be dealt with if you are to continue your rampage.

Alright, here's some additional information on the BME:
They gather in an abandoned, 'haunted' hotel on the outskirts of the city, on the other side from the LLSH. It's old and falling apart and looks like it's about to collapse from the outside, but it's really quite safe on the inside.
Everyone can have their own room. There's no sharing needed. You have to support evil and be mean in some form or fashion, or at least oppose one of the members of the League of Lame Super Heroes.
NSA (no such association)
You're looking for as many people with odd, lame abilities that no one else has. These lame abilities are more than likely useless and/or really stupid. Find as many as you can and bring them alive to the Fredrick Hospital. Do not kill anyone with powers under any circumstances. Agents do not have powers and rely on conventional means of apprehending their targets.

The "supers" in the game are more of a nuisance to society rather than any great threat or asset. Many of their powers are simply mischievious in nature. Those powers that may be destructive or beneficial are extremly unpredictable or of short duration. Use of such abilities may effect the user as well.
Each player will also have a unique kryptonite/weakness as a disadvantage. Presented with their kryptonite the "super" may well find himself/herself at a distinct advantage. These weaknesses are purposely not listed so that your nemisis may not use them against you until they are discovered.
Another important aspect is your costume. Your costume is a direct reflection of your power. Be creative in your descriptions as they are an important part of who you are as someone who manifests an unusual gift.
