Rumors from low 'soldiers' and 'dealers' tell that "Ave Maria" is a killer for hire. None know her name, but do know her slowly growing reputation. So far, eleven dead. No cases show that she has ever 'failed' a job. She has been on the loose for a total count of one year, three months, and eighteen days (since first recorded offense).

The smell of casserole wafted through the house, filling it with warmth and a fuzzy sensation of home. A man stood in the bedroom, undoing his tie and smiling in the mirror. He was fairly handsome, a good man who was calm and sweet. He undid the buttons of his shirt and relaxed, pulling it off and leaving his undershirt on as he slicked his fingers into his hair. Thomas Brooks turned and headed then downstairs, towards the kitchen.

Standing in the empty white room, was a woman. She was lean, but it was suggested because of her work at a Avex Pharmaceuticals, as well as her usual work-out plan. Melanie Brooks took off her apron and laid it over the handle of the stove, turning back to her husband. She had a grin plastered on full painted lips, and wavy black hair that fell and framed her face.

"Dinner's ready. I cooked it early because I've got to pull a long shift tonight. I hope you don't mind baby." She said softly. Her husband leaned in and kissed her, and responded with saying that it was okay; and of course, he did not mind. The two sat down and cut into the dish, and ate in a rather happy silence...

9:00 p.m.

She sat her journal down, and headed towards the door. Melanie threw on a jacket after combing her hair back into a low ponytail, and left. Her footsteps could be heard coming down the steps followed by the quiet shutting of the front door.

Atop of her dresser, in a rather large little jewelry box, laid tons of jewels. Bracelets, necklaces, all things collected since childhood. But just beneath it was a little strip of black. If one were to dig, they would find a small little composition notebook. It bore no name, and no date. If one were to also dig into the pages, they would find the most recent entry with today's date; and an interesting truth.

September 7th, 2010.

Today, my target is named Marcus Jones. He is just the average Joe to most people, but not to local gang lord Dorian Majors. Marcus has been messing with Dorian's little sister, and funneling out free drugs for himself. The price for such horrible crimes against his own is death. Of course, death from the inside of their own gang would stir up too much drama. This is where I come in.

It is September 7th. The bounty for Marcus Jones' head is $890. I have taken the job.

Maria is the kind of woman you don't want to run into. She's beautiful, sexy, and dark. The feeling you get from her dark and tempting smile is the kind that sends chills down your spine, like you know she's a wild and wicked woman. Even the way she carries herself is one with confidence, like she lives on top of the world and no one can stop her. She's the kind of person that if you were to ever talk to, would be controlling the conversation. She's in control, dominating, and seductive. Maria uses whatever it takes to make the night her territory, and no one will stop her if she has a breath left in her body...
Deeper in this woman, she is a puzzling soul indeed. She's got some kind of grudge against mankind, and sees it as her job to kill off the weak and deceptive. Well, it's her job, since no one else will do it. She's blocked away a lot of her humanity, only letting it flow from her form during the daylight hours, when she pretends to be a wonderful housewife, married to Thomas Brooks- who knows not a damn thing about her real life. Ave Maria is the kind of woman who can be generous, but her generosity is a bit rough and callous in nature. Rhodry has short black hair that cuts off at the base of his neck and bangs that barely reach his eyes which are a forest green color. He is white with a small tan and flexible. He works out and hast to be lean to get into places most reporters can’t get to just to nab the scoop. He stands at a height of 6’3 and weighs 197 pounds. His face is defined but in some places still a little boyish. He has a long scar on his right arm where a convict had sliced him for getting too close.

Personality:

Rhodry thinks of himself has a gentleman who knows his way around the ladies. Some may title him a player but he wouldn’t do anything he would regret with them. On a case he is strictly no funny business and does absolutely anything he can to get his hands on the truth and help the police capture anyone who have abandoned the rules and regulations. He goes undercover most of the time to get the scope or get himself into dangerous situations. His boss and editor often tweak his work and exaggerate the truth which annoys him to no end but he can’t do anything about it since he needs to job and no matter where he went the same thing would happen.

At home he is able to relax and unwind. He likes to be silly and make everyone around him laugh. He doesn’t always have jokes up his sleeve but he will find something to do to lift people’s spirits. If someone threatens him or anyone he loves he will quickly get defensive and do anything he can to protect himself and them. He would risk his life for those he loves and that is just one of his biggest weakness when it comes down to it. He is not a person that would let people walk all over him and huddle in a corner when someone needs him.
