There's a little sign people put up for that sort of thing, Ine:

Hey now! I didn't go into detail! Which is good, because there are quite a few people I know who do. ::shudders:: I don't care if I'm the same gender as someone, I don't want to hear how many pads you go through a day. It's not right, like pissing with the door open. ::shudders again::

Well, beauty or convenience. Why not simply get your tubes tied?

Duh, because then I couldn't squeeze a kid the size of a football painfully out of my vajingo. I might want to have the option of painful self inflicted torture one day.

Guys, I think if we want to talk we should move it to the chat room or chatter box thread so that the thread stays on topic. >> ((Does not wish to anger mods or Fate))

Credit card companies are sneaky f*cks. For months, I've been afraid that because I paid my balance down, a little bit before the hard economic times hit (I was in the process of getting rid of the debt, but stepped it up when things started to go sour) that they'd cancel my card and ding my score.
But noooo-ooo, now they've automatically upgraded me to platinum, as if that's going to make me start spending on the thing. Which I won't. I'm not a shopaholic and I've become even more careful over the last couple years. They must think I'm an easy mark or something.
I hate credit cards.

My mom called me from her phone that has an unlisted number. Because of this and my broken touch screen, there is officially nobody I can call until somebody else calls me back. v_v; This is lame.

I got a 66...
on chemistry...
and I wrote a universe that revolves around the manipulation of matter how?
Argh, it took me two days to do this evaluation... two days and two headaches, but no, apparently thermochemistry, reaction rates, acids, bases, and salts are all simply too complex. It's confusing, with "it's negative but positive but negative" back and forth, like trying to walk a straight line through a serpent path.
*sigh* I need a drink... and something sweet...

Damn.
Why did my cat have to bite my mom for no reason and send her to the hospital, resulting in the cat getting put to sleep this morning? We had to do it for our own protection, I guess, since Daisy (the cat) has bitten before, but that doesn't mean I'm not about to cry every time I don't see her sleeping on the chair. And she was nice to me, which makes it so much harder, even though I was a selfish bitch for having wanted to keep her...I can't put it in words, which is why this is a terrible recap. But whatever.

When I lived in Belize with my grandparents, I used to have a cat named Amara. She got pregnant and gave birth to a litter. We gave all but one away, one that was black and white, looked like she was wearing a cow hide. Kept her and named her Black-Eyed Peas.
Peas grew up. Then came the time to spayed her and her mother, who had had another litter sometime after. We took them both and on the operating table I found out she'd been pregnant with kittens. They were but the size of rice grains. It was... sad, but I still had her.
The following days that she was "recovering" she was extremely weak. Amara made a fast recovery, but Peas... she'd go out to the porch and just sit crouched in a particular spot. Two days after my birthday, she died while lying on my bed (I'd been very frightened that night and slept at my grandparents' bed). Buried her. Had a silent day.
The story is not joyous, I realize, nor is it in and of itself trying to show you a happy, unreal scenario. Its aim is to show my sympathy. I'll say, I'd be surprised if a few of your keyboards didn't get a little wet today.
I realize what you are going through and you have my support.
Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
Wow, I'm really sorry about that; losing not only one cat but many, even though, of course, Peas would have meant the most to you. And, yeah, I decided not to go along with my dad to the clinic or to our reservoir (where we buried her. EDIT: We just call the general area "the reservoir", but we buried her on land and everything.). But I'm unsure if losing her to a medical cause would have been better or worse - probably worse, but this situation makes me feel extremely guilty, since so many people (including yourself) had no choice on whether their pet died, and we kind of "killed" her ourselves. I talked to my parents' friend, who recently had to put down her dog for medical reasons, but that didn't really make me feel better since her justification of what we did entailed insulting our cat's personality...But, yeah. Thanks for the support.

Gosh... I'm really sorry about your cat. I know how sad it is to lose a beloved pet.
I'm complaining that Kat is seriously the shortest my name is going to be. I prefer Kathryn, but I caved and allowed it to be shortened. Don't shorten it even more! >=(

): I'm sorry to hear about your cats, guys...

I complain that I have zero patience right now. Like, it'd be negative if I thought I could call it that feasibly. I was just helping my dad out a bit with our new tv remote, and I had to leave, I was getting so close to just blowing up in annoyance.
I know why my patience is lacking so much, too. Argh. But it doesn't make it any less annoying to me.

Re: The Complaints Thread >:(
At least it was ONLY the remote and not only your dad. What's more frustrating than having to help someone with something? Having to help someone with something when they don't want your help.
But that's a story for another time.

Oh, I dunno. I run out of patience when someone else is handling a remote, because their remote-fu generally sucks. I'm not too anal about stuff except when it comes to switching stations or navigating menus, then I get freakish when I have to let someone else do that stuff, or have to show them.
If you ever work in an environment dealing with technology, you get a lot of people that start asking unnecessary questions and you're there going, "LET ME WORK SO I CAN FIX IT FASTER NUMBNUTS!"
(I'd make that blink and burn if we had some way to do that, just for emphasis.)

I need to pack. Siiigh. I know once I get started, I'll probably be able to throw together a bag for the weekend no problem, but I really don't feel like doing it.
I complain that I can't do it last minute like I always do, 'cause I have work tomorrow, and we're leaving right after I get home. D:
