I'm celebrating the fact that I'm going to go watch Twilight: New Moon after work with my friend Mewie((Her name is really Amelia, but that's been my nickname for her since we were seven.)).

While I never really appreciated the books, and I loathed the first movie, a new director and Gunneh's review of the movie have given me hope that it won't be a waste of time. Besides, the ever-skanktastic guy who plays Edward isn't in it nearly as much, so I have high-ish hopes - though the fact that the character is slathered all over the last two books which means his actor will be all over the last two movies bashes my hopes into dust for the last two movies.

I'm also celebrating something about which I also complained. There are only three weeks left until I get to see my lover! :: dances ::

I celebrate being commissioned to do some of the artwork for www.rat-trails.com! It's a brand new game (somewhat like Neopets) that's about ratties, and I've been playing it since its beta release! ^^ Since they're ordering so much artwork too, I'm going to be making quite a bit of money, which couldn't come at a better time! Smile

Thanks, Kathryn. ^^ It's just going to be 2D, as far as I know. If they were asking for 3D, I would have to refuse, since I really am very weak in that area/not comfortable doing it. Since it's more of like a Neopets-type game though, I don't think they'll even be needing anything 3D, so it's all good. Smile

He brings such joy to my life. I honestly can't say life was even worth living before having him. Of course, I wouldn't think that if he wasn't here...but I certainly have no regrets. I seriously love that kid heart

Besides the thing I just mentioned in the complaints thread, which I won't mention further here, we had an absolute blast! Theoden was so well behaved I couldn't believe it. And you should have seen his reactions when he first saw Goofy and Micky! He is normally shy around strangers, turning his head away and running for our legs. But not with them, no. They both got smiles and laughs Laughing

We rode on the Tea Cups, Dumbo, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted House (Nightmare Before Christmas version), and ... ... oh, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, which none of us liked. At all. But he really liked the other rides. He fell asleep on Pirates the second time we went on it though Smile

Yesterday was without a doubt the most fun he's ever had. I'm so glad we brought him with us. We were thinking about leaving him at home, or bringing someone else to watch him while we went on some rides, but instead we just focused the trip on him. Couldn't have turned out better!
