Congratulations, Immortal! That's a wonderful achievement!
While I never would have wanted to be a lead in a musical, I would have loved to have been a lead in a play. What musical are you doing?
I celebrate hair... long, beautiful hair. ^o_~^

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Thank-you Kathryn!
It's called Back to the 80's and it is set in a typical high school. So you've got your jocks, the popular girls and those that don't fit into either group. All of the songs are classics like Hey Mickey, Footloose, Walking on Sunshine, Kids in America, Video Killed the Radio Star - you get the gist.
My character is Debbie Fox. She's not part of the popular group, she has multiple imaginary boyfriends and has trouble distinguishing between fantasy and reality so I think she should be heaps of fun to play, hehe.
Our first rehearsal is on Sunday and I am super excited for it!
I guess I'll celebrate because I haven't felt this happy in ages.

I celebrate that I got off my lazy ass and made myself an avatar!
And the fact that I like it.

I celebrate my new avatar taken from the artwork inside My Drying Bride's For Lies I Sire album booklet. Granted it didn't scan as well as I'd hoped... lost some clarity and color around the candle in the corner.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I celebrate making a new goal to accomplish in life: A Race for the Soul.
It is a 100 mile race through the Sierra Nevada mountains. The first cut-off time is at 24 hours, and the final cutoff time is at...I think 30 hours. I can't remember now.
It will take years of training, but it will get me back into running again. And, like when I was training for the Volkslauf, it will give me motivation to run so I won't be as tempted to just give up.
The most important thing, however, is teaching myself discipline. I HAVE to start eating right. I need to find the right diet for an active lifestyle, and I have to follow it. I have to keep up with the training, constantly. I am horrible with both of those things, but I think I'm committed to this. Someday, I will do this. And I have an early start, since most people who do it are already in their forties. As my professor put it: "It's an old-people sport."
EDIT: There is a six part video on youtube if you care to check it out. Just search A Race for the Soul.

I celebrate getting my grad check and knowing I only need ONE class next quarter to graduate. I'll probably take three anyway, but it is good to know that I only have to do well in one!

I celebrate the fact that I'm going to a Baha'i party tomorrow! I'm not Baha'i, but it'll be a fun learning experience! I'm bringing cranberry bog bars. They're so yummy. ^o_o^

I celebrate getting rid of all of those extra classes and other crap they were trying to throw on me! Now I only have one extra class, which leaves my schedule pretty normal. If I can still get rid of that last one, I'll be great. But I don't know if I want to push my luck.

You are a white girl, so it's okay. ^o_~^
I celebrate having gone on a short walk today. While it was only around the block, it was still better than no exercise at all. Besides, it was more for my grandma's benefit than for mine. She really needs to strengthen her heart because she gets really tired just from walking to the post office and back ((half a block each way)). We're going to work our way up to walking clear to the cemetery which is over a mile.

I celebrate 5 pages of my second paper being written. I complain that I have at least 10 more to go...and then make a presentation..and then take an exam tomorrow...present my paper on wednesday...then watch 5 more hours of lectures, and take another exam...
And THEN I'm done!
And THEN I'm done!

I celebrate getting my teeth fixed tomorrow! Well, one of them anyway. I had two teeth cracked in half years ago after kissing a baseball bat. Very painful experience...even more so than the root canal that followed. Hopefully tomorrow morning won't be quite so painful.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Are they going to remove the tooth, or are they going to place a cap over it?
I celebrate the fact that I'll see Misery in three days. ^^_^^

Silvone, I hope everything went all right for you. >w<
Kathryn, enjoy your trip!
I celebrate the completion of my bachelor's degree. xD Undergrad's been an interesting experience, to be sure, and I know I'll never have cause to regret going through college...but it's been a long four years. It feels like it's been so long since I've known the simple luxury of reading a book for leisure without glancing at the clock every few pages. Or even taking a bath without first calculating the impact it'll have on my homework time. ^^; So - today, I celebrate my reclamation of life's little pleasures!

Congratulations! That is quite an achievement. I look forward to celebrating the same thing in June.
I currently celebrate deleting a bunch of unnecessary contacts on facebook & myspace. People that don't talk to me yet added me for some reason. I don't understand the point of that, so I got rid of all of them. Huzzah! Here's to hoping no one notices

Went to see Flogging Molly last night. It was a fantastic show!
In a few hours, I'll be leaving for Austin, TX to spend the rest of the week with one of my best friends who graduated last year.
