Re: I was promised a free car
If you value your life, you won't call me Kath. I don't want your body to dent my car, but it could happen if you don't learn very quickly that I hate nicknames.

Re: I was promised a free car
But...I like giving nicknames to people
Besides, I don't value my life too much, I have a horcrux.

Re: I was promised a free car
Seriously, don't call me Kath. It pisses me off. I hate nicknames, but if you're too damn lazy to spell out THREE more letters ((this would make you pretty damn lazy)) then at least call me Kat. I am going to stress the point that I prefer to be called Kathryn.

No. That's not acceptable. If you call me anything other than what I've given you permission to call me, don't be upset when I ignore all of your post.

Re: I was promised a free car
Kathryn started ignoring me once, so I ignored her right back. It took us all of what, two hours to start talking to each other again.
This one dude called her Shoelace, then deleted his username and disappeared from the forum. I heard Kathryn took a roadtrip around that time, headed for an undisclosed location. Rumor says the ghost of Schrodinger still haunts the dent in her car, and once a month, on that night, you can still hear him whispering, "Shoooooooooelace...shoooOOOOEEEELACE..."
I have the timezone problem, too. Therefore, I ignore all times given on FOG. Welcome, try not to dent her car. That makes her really mad, and she runs you over a couple more times just for spite.

Well, technically... I'll allow people to call me Kat... but that's it... and I still prefer my given name to be used. =3

Re: I was promised a free car
If I remember correctly, "Kathryn" means "Pure," which is awesome.
So no soiling her pure name by messing it up or cutting it short.

Re: I was promised a free car
I'm far from pure, but that's a good way to remember it because that is in fact the meaning of my name.

Re: I was promised a free car
Pure huh? I wish my name meant something :/
Anyways, I think I fixed that time problem, I had that little checkbox that said 'always reset the time to forum time' or something like that, and it was checked.
Makes me wonder, what's the point of that? It's so easy to miss...

My real name's Michael. That means "Who is like God?" As in, 'How can anything possibly compare to how awesome God is?' xD
Your real name probably does mean something, Mr. Ragter. Just gotta look it up. ^_^

Re: I was promised a free car
My real name is Donovan...not really sure how that's supposed to mean something. Michael is more obvious that it means something, since it was in, y'know, the bible.
Re: I was promised a free car
Well let's look it up, shall we? ^^

If you go to 20,000-Names.com, you'll find a landmine of names and their meanings. It's pretty rad. I don't know why you would think your name wouldn't mean anything.

brown-haired chieftain...that part is actually a little creepy, considering I have brown hair.
