I painted my face for a category in a Face Painting contest on Roliana. This was the entry for the Cheek Category. Tomorrow, I'm going to try to do the full face one.

I know I'm not going to win because someone did this amazing phoenix for this category, but hopefully I'll have better odds if I can properly execute the full-face design I sketched.




I got the inspiration from this photograph, and I definitely did not do it justice.

Okay! I finished my full-face thingy! I'm happy with everything except the bleeding hearts ((they're flowers)) and the faerie's body, but I'm extremely happy with the faerie's wing, and the butterflies are super cute. I just wish you could see that the paint is glittery. =\

Shooped? I think you mean shopped... However, no. I didn't photoshop anything other than my skin because it's terrible. It's not easy to photoshop facial features, and I don't want to do that anyway because I like my face, just not my complexion.

Yes, I did. You mean you really can't tell? It's not that good. I keep noticing all of these things I did wrong, but skin moves a lot more than paper, and it's harder to get skin ((especially eye lids and creases)) to move the way you want without smudging something else.

I feel like my hummingbird was more successful.
