Subject: Ichiro Matsumo File# A2242bp-PA-4
Re: Pre-contact Psychological Profile
Ichio Matsumo is a Japanese-American mutant. He is a class 4 Physical Adept, although it is possible his skills could be as high as a class 7, not enough time has been given to observe the subject under stress.
From observations and interviews with the subject’s satellite contacts, it is obvious that Mr. Matsumo does not take the level of his physical capabilities seriously. It appears that Mr. Matsumo is extremely open about his abilities and has no evident fear of Human-first groups. This attitude could make Mr. Matsumo a danger to human society, should he ever develop a feeling of entitlement.
In the month-long interview and observation process, Mr. Matsumo was observed at work and at the martial arts dojo where he trains. The subject has been observed showing off his physical skills, with childish delight. His unorthodox fighting style has evidently been developed from dance, movies and actual martial arts study. However, the subject does not have the classic discipline one would expect of a life-long student of the classic martial arts.
Personality-wise, the subject seems an upbeat, socially comfortable person. He appears to laugh easily and appears to prefer being out with friends to being on his own. Interviews with his employer, fellow employees, friends and members of the dojo all paint Mr. Matsumo as an affable, good-natured person who doesn’t appear to have any enemies. Most knew of Mr. Matsumo’s mutant abilities, however none showed any fear or trepidation of the subject.
Mr. Matsumo’s family all live in the greater Los Angeles area and the subject appears to have a good relationship with them. He visits them regularly and takes art classes with his younger sister at UCLA. The subject also models for some of the art classes. He seems remarkably comfortable in any sort of setting and appears to be highly adaptable.
Powers: Enhanced agility, enhanced speed, enhanced endurance, contortionist
Side effects/Weaknesses: Susceptible to temperature extremes
Previous Occupation: Clerk at a Radio Shack, works part-time at a dojo in his neighborhood.
Highest Skill: Martial Arts/improvised weapon use
Lowest Skill: Forensics
Background:
Ichiro’s family had come to the U.S. when he was only 4 years old. His Father worked for Toyota and had been sent to the U.S. to help set up new production lines in Toyota car manufacturing plants. The family chose to settle in Los Angeles because of the large and vibrant Asian community there. His Mother and Grandmother opened a small market for Japanese foods and Ichiro soon was joined by 2 younger sisters.
All three siblings were enrolled in martial arts as a way to burn off excess energy and to learn discipline. Ichiro was an average student, even though he day-dreamed a great deal and spent more time doodling comic than anything. Ichiro enjoyed the lessons and quickly made friends both at the dojo and at school.
At the age of 10, Ichiro was found unresponsive in his bed by his Mother. His skin was cold and clammy and his breathing was deep and so very slow. The boy was rushed to the hospital and at first the Doctors believed he was suffering from insulin shock. No test they ran, however could explain Ichiro’s apparent coma. Over the course of 2 days, Ichiro’s temperature climbed. At first it seemed as if Ichiro had an infection of some kind, but his temperature kept climbing. Soon, the Doctors had to immerse the boy’s body in ice water to try to bring his temperature down before the fever caused him severe brain damage.
Ichiro was kept in ice baths for a week straight. Slowly, his temperature began to come down, though it never dropped below 101 degrees. Ichiro woke, confused and hungry. The doctors, however, were still concerned about his elevated temperature and had to run neurological tests. He spent another 2 weeks in the hospital and to the relief of his family, Ichiro was given a cautious clean bill of health. His temperature was still a concern, but the Doctors could find nothing else wrong.
The reason for Ichiro’s elevated temperature became evident over the intervening months. During his lessons at the dojo and play time, Ichiro had become outstandingly quick and flexible. Physical control of his body was off the charts. He could climb or jump anything. He could out run nearly everyone. His hand-speed was a near blur. He was a mutant.
The shock of realization was nearly unbearable to his parents. But, to Ichiro, it was the coolest thing ever. He reveled in his new abilities. He threw himself into his lessons at the Dojo. He joined every sports team he could, but he was soon barred from competing due to his mutant abilities. The setback didn’t dampen Ichiro’s spirits for long. He took up cheer leading and practiced gymnastics. He went to the movies and quickly mastered every choreographed fight scene he saw there. He truly enjoyed being different and made the most of it. He loved to show off. He loved hanging with his friends and going to parties. Nothing ever seemed to get him down and thus far, neither Ichiro or his family has had to deal with the ugly prejudices so many Mutants suffered through. The insular community of Los Angeles’ Chinatown and satellite communities has provided a safer environment for Asian mutants than the most other mutants were afforded.

Psychological Evaluation
SOURCE: DR. JEREMIAH GREEN, LANGLEY, VA
The subject exhibits the “quiet professionalism” common among members of military special operations forces and intelligence agencies. Although Redfield is proficient in interpersonal skills and relationship-building in regards to cultivating human intelligence assets, such skills do not seem to carry over into his personal life.
The subject is estranged from his remaining immediate family; names [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. Jason maintains few close friends, of which the vast majority are members of the military and/or other government entities. This shows a lack of willingness or perhaps even an inability to build and maintain meaningful friendships outside of the professional sector.
Repeated psychological screening shows signs of possible low-level post-traumatic stress disorder. The implications of this disorder with the subject in question have not yet been ascertained and should be aggressively monitored so as to prevent erosion of operational capability.
Background Information
Jason Redfield was born the middle child in a family of three sons in [REDACTED], Georgia, where he was later raised. His father, Scott Redfield (see reference file), was a veteran of United States Army black operations throughout the Cold War. His mother, Elise, was a nurse. When the subject was twelve years old, his mother was killed during an armed robbery in his presence.
The subject attended public schools in Georgia, frequently enrolling in Advanced Placement and Honors classes. His academic records show consistently high grades and test scores. He graduated from high school, with honors, one year early at seventeen years of age. There is no record of him engaging in athletic organizations, clubs, or extracurricular activities of any sort while in school.
Redfield enlisted with the United States Marine Corps on June 22nd, 1977 (aged 17). He served ~10.5 years with the USMC as a Rifleman, Scout Sniper, and Reconnaissance Man. He was a seven-year veteran of Marine Force Reconnaissance and the Maritime Special Purpose Force when he reenlisted with the United States Army in January of 2005; he was shortly thereafter inducted into the Combat Applications Group (i.e. Delta Force) for a period of over four years. In 2009, the subject was recruited by the National Clandestine Service and slated for a position in the Special Activities Division's Special Operations Group.
Jason is a veteran of multiple combat deployments and clandestine operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, the Horn of Africa, Libya, as well as [SERVICE LOCATION(S) REDACTED]. His performance throughout his military and clandestine career has been unanimously described as beyond reproach by his superiors as well as his peers. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Intelligence Cross, Navy Cross, two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars (two w/ "V" device), two Commendation Medals, and three Purple Hearts, in addition to various other decorations. The subject has also attended dozens of specialty military/tactical training courses throughout his career. Redfield holds a Master's Degree in Political Science.
Skill Set/Capabilities Evaluation
The subject has shown no signs of metahuman powers, latent or otherwise. However, Redfield is in remarkable physical condition, scoring excellently during evaluations of his cardiovascular fitness, physical strength, endurance, balance & coordination, and reaction time/reflexes. His IQ, problem-solving abilities, and memory skills are also all well above average.
Jason is an expert in regards to combat marksmanship and firearms handling, along with MOUT, IMT, small unit tactics, and close quarters battle. He is also well-versed in multiple disciplines of hand-to-hand combat. These skills, in addition to his high degree of proficiency in survival/escape & evasion (SERE) makes him well-suited for direct action and other operational deployments to austere and/or hostile environments.
The subject also possesses training in various other tradecraft and tactical skills, including, but not limited to: surreptitious entry, emergency medicine, high-performance driving, interrogation, HUMINT gathering, surveillance, counterintelligence, fieldcraft, tracking, sensitive site exploitation, maritime operations, hostage rescue, explosive devices, and close protection. Jason is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Arabic, Urdu, and Farsi.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
Name: Marcus Jeramiah
Alias: The Engineer
Sex: M
Age: 25
Appearance:
Psychological Profile: From the desk of Dr. Stacy Goodman.
Where to start with Mr. Jeramiah? Let's start with the most obvious characteristics of 'The Engineer'.
From what I can tell of Marcus, he has a few sociopathic tendencies that point towards a troubled childhood. What was revealed about Marcus's childhood was short and to the point. He was raised by a single mother, never knowing his father either through contact or stories. This lack of a male figure in his life to look at managed to quell some of his more natural male mannerisms. He was quieter than most children, thoughtful, and incredibly smart when the time came for him to show off his intelligence. Despite this, he was slightly socially awkward, having few to no friends aside from 'school buddies', the kind of people you would talk to at work or school, but never outside.
As he grew older, he never let go of these social shortcomings, but made leaps and bounds in his 'book smarts'. Anything to do with science, math, or history he managed to read, research, and store in what is almost a photographic memory. It seemed that he preferred the company of knowledge, books, and stories over the actual presence of people. However, I am rambling. Let me sum up Mr. Jeramiah in a nutshell.
He's intelligent, witty, thoughtful, quiet, and reserved about his past and his person. He's also socially awkward, a bit spiteful, and has shown a knack for getting revenge for just about anything. He never gets outwardly angry, but introverts rarely get outwardly angry.
Powers: Inorganic molecular manipulation - Marcus developed the ability to shape inorganic material to whatever shape he wills, within a certain size. He doesn't have the ability to shift an entire building into whatever he would like it to become, but anything the size of, or smaller than a regular car is within his realm to change into anything he wishes. He has been known to create weapons, armour, tools, and sometimes explosives with random items laying around the environment.
Side effects/Weaknesses: Aside from the obvious size issue, Marcus tends to wear out quickly if his power is used on multiple items, or if he tries to stretch the limit. While he doesn't need his power to maintain a form once it has been achieved, anything moving within the mechanism will still need to be manually activated by him.
Along with this, Marcus can not create matter. For instance, if he wanted something to be run by electricity, he would need an electrical source. Or if he wanted fuel for a flamethrower, he would need to find and supply the machine with fuel.
Previous Occupation: Book Keeper at Art and Eddie's Furniture Warehouse.
Highest Skill: Crime Scene investigation and Forensic studies.
Lowest Skill: Public Relations
Background: As stated in his psych evaluation, Marcus was born and raised by a single mother, never knowing or learning about his father due to his mother's inability to be able to divulge the information. For the first few years of his life, he lived as a normal child would to a lower to middle class civilian would. When he reached school age, he almost instantly started on the road to the man he is today.
Right from the moment he entered kindergarten, teachers and other students could see he was a very withdrawn child. He rarely spoke up, rarely acted out, and the only indication that he was there at all was the fact that he excelled at virtually every academic activity. He progressed through school with no less than an A in every subject, including physical education. While being told repeatedly he could skip through grades by the teachers and his mother, and being asked if he wanted to just as many times, Marcus declined every time. His real reason for not wanting to skip ahead was known only to him, but he gave an outwards answer of "There's always more to learn, skipping helps no one.".
Marcus, in terms of being a mutant, was a late bloomer. His power didn't manifest until he was well into high school, grade 10 to be exact. It was not flashy, it wasn't even attention gathering. Simply put, Marcus had been sitting alone in the study hall, flipping a pen in between his hands. His mind was so focused on the math problems in front of him, that he didn't notice the pen contorting and changing in his hand. When he went to write an answer, he found that the pen had been morphed into a useless heap of metal. Instantly his mind went to where every teenager's mind would go to if they suddenly found themselves in an unexplainable situation. He started to wonder if he was a mutant, and after several attempts, managed to make the pen's form change once more. Despite the fact that he couldn't exactly figure out how to make the utensil work once more, he was able to conclude he was manipulating the object on a molecular level, changing it's form and purpose with but a thought.
There was no one around to see him perform this tiny feat of power usage, and for a few of years no one knew about it. He kept his abilities down to a minimum, practicing them in secret when he knew that no one was around or watching. Even his own mother had no idea that he was a mutant. Through hours of practice and careful preparation, Marcus found out another tidbit about his powers. In order to create something, such as a pen or even a weapon, he had to mentally have the blueprints in his mind. Throughout grade 11, and much of grade 12, much of his time was spent in the library, looking through books searching through anything and everything that had to do with building and manufacturing objects and items of every variety. Half way through his grade 12 year, due to his introversion, photographic memory, and high intelligence, Marcus had the mental blueprints to create a wide variety of items ranging from the simple writing utensils to weapon's grade explosives. Though he never thought of using his powers for good or evil, he did like to experiment. At one point he accidentally lit his neighbour's cat on fire with a small firecracker made out of several components scavenged from nearby garbage cans.
Half way through his grade 12 year, the Clash happened.
Marcus was on the other side of the city when it started, watching it with his classmates on a TV through a live broadcast. Everyone in his class was in awe, in shock, or cheering them on as mutants ripped through downtown New York. Marcus sat in the back, doing his best to shrink without looking like he was avoiding attention. Normally feelings didn't bother him that much, but looking on this event through the eyes of regular human beings, he could tell things were only going to get tougher for mutants everywhere. For a few days after that event he stopped practicing with his power entirely, fearing that even at the mere hint of him being a mutant would spark a overzealous reaction from normal people.
The rest of Marcus's high school career was uneventful. He started practicing with his power in secret once the commotion from the Clash had died down, and eventually went into University a few months after graduation. He started a course with Criminal Forensics, seeing as he had a logical mind and a photographic memory, he believed he could serve a purpose there. He moved closer to the University, taking up a spot in the Dorm and ending up with a roommate who was being paid for and liked to party more than study. In fact, it seemed to Marcus that the entire dorm preferred to drink and party rather than pass their course. Maybe this lead to Marcus using his power more actively, or maybe he just got tired of using it in secret. Either way, this changed the way Marcus decided to use his power.
After several weeks of being unable to work or study due to the nature of his dorm, and the library being close to the same thing despite the rules, Marcus became a prankster with a mean streak. Every few days, he would break into someone's dorm room using his power to make the lock open. He would then step in, and either break one of their appliances without looking like it was broken, or completely remake an object into an inconceivable mass. The story's that started passing around the dorm were becoming legendary on campus as 'The Engineer' started becoming a household story.
Half way through his course, Marcus's fun ended. He had broken into someone's dorm, which had been the victim of two previous incursions. He had memorized the occupant's schedules before hand, knowing that one was in a lecture, and the other was going to be at the gym for at least another hour. However, what he did not expect was the gym to be closed down due to a building inspection that was a couple years over due. The student ended up coming into the room while Marcus was 'fixing' his TV that his rich parents had bought him. Needless to say, it all went downhill from there.
Marcus was soon forced from the dorm, and from campus. Charges were laid against him, which he barely managed to pay off with a few bank loans. Several students cried out for jail time, but seeing as Marcus's 'pranks' were harmless in terms of physical injuries to the students, the jail cry was denied.
Marcus's career as a forensic scientist was over though, and the damage done. By that point, every university had heard about his dealings and even though the student hadn't caught him actively using his power, the rumours and whispers concerning his being a mutant were everywhere with a campus and beyond. Marcus ended up applying for several jobs, eventually taking one as a an accountant/book keeper for a small furniture company. The pay was solid, the working conditions not as much so, but they paid his bills and loans. He was there for a few years before being contacted by the FBI for what he feared was a mutant corralling program. Luckily for him, he was being asked to join a new task force being formed that comprised of mutant members with a human leader.
Marcus was hesitant at first, seeing this as a potential ploy to somehow get mutants to cooperate with them up until they put a collar around their neck and called them Fido. Despite the voice in the back of his head telling him this was a bad idea, he decided to go along with it anyways. If it did turn out to be true, then it was his way back into his career of choice rather than a dead end job for some lowly furniture company. So he quit his job and went and joined the FBI.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
Name: Damian Eberhard
Alias: Xerox
Sex: Male
Age: 23
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 160 lbs
Psychological Profile:
From the desk of Dr. Manson Forbes, L.A.M.P. Psychological Evaluation
It appears that Mr. Eberhard has a history of not maintaining close contact with many people. When asked, he was able to recite many names of those he considered “friends”, yet when asked for further details he was unable to provide even the most basic of personal information, at times no more than first names. This lack of companionship does not appear to be due to ill-received behavior. When placed in a crowded room and asked to associate with others, Mr. Eberhard did as requested with an easy smile and casual conversation.
Though it is uncertain as to whether the facts are related, observers also noted multiple inconsistencies in Mr. Eberhard’s level of attention to his surroundings. For instance, when asked to discuss information about those around him, Mr. Eberhard was unable to recall personal information, but was able to point out what they were wearing, where they had been located, and if they had moved any objects of significance. (It should also be noted that at the end of the social testing period, Mr. Eberhard was only able to recall the names of those he maintained contact with throughout the process.)
Mr. Eberhard appeared willing to answer all questions posed to him throughout the testing process, which indicates a reasonably pleasant or calm family background. Through a series of general observations, it appears that Mr. Eberhard is willing and interested to engage in both social and learning activities. It is possible, yet completely unconfirmed, that his inability to retain specific information may be due to a learning impediment. However, if such an impediment does exist, it does not appear to hinder his social skills overall. He is easily approachable and does not appear to startle easily – in fact, it may be noted that at no point during the testing period did his emotions rise above average levels. In-the-field testing may be required to determine if this emotional capacity continues in non-premeditated circumstances.
Highest Skill: Observation
From the desk of Dr. David Hoyle, Clinical Observation Specialist, Ph.D.
The Subject has excelled at all observational and recall tests presented to him. I have included examples of his level of ability, to be viewed at your leisure. They are attached below.
• Subject was led through a series of rooms before entering the discussion chamber. When asked to give a description of his surroundings, He was able to accurately describe key points of interest in each of the rooms, even those not specifically pointed out to him.
• Subject was brought to a cluttered desk and was given a brief length of time in which to study the items on it. We asked him to then leave the room, and key items were then removed from the desk. Upon being asked to return them in their original spots, He was successfully able to place all ten of the items.
o This test was repeated multiple times, varying the number and size of the items, as well as the length of time between the observational and recreation periods. The Subject’s success ratio consistently remained at 85 percent or higher.
It has been observed that when asked to recall particular details from the prior day’s examination, the Subject’s success ratio rose no higher than 60 percent*. It can therefore be concluded that his short-term observational skills may be considered highly ‘above average’. It is possible that, with future training, we believe long-term skills may rise as much as 15 percent.
Through the course of the testing period, the Subject was given a small area in which to keep his personal belongings. The Subject was consistently able to identify everything that was out of place – with a success ratio of 99 percent, even when He did not return to this location for several days at a time.
Lowest Skill: Retention
From the desk of Dr. David Hoyle, Clinical Observation Specialist, Ph.D.
Outside of the Subject’s above average observational and recall skills, He does not appear to excel in any other areas of activity. When presented with a series of standard tests, the Subject’s scores were all within or below the ‘average’ rating. These tests, as you are aware, range from standardized educational exams to marksmanship ability and beyond.
It must be noted that at one point during the process, the Subject was accidentally asked to complete a test that had already been completed the day prior. Unlike during His observational testing – in which the success ratio fell – the Subject scored marginally higher during the repeat exam. Additional repeat tests in all areas proved a similar pattern: the success ratio rose, on average, 5 to 10 percent each time a test was repeated.
It must be further noted that a number of tests were not repeated until multiple days had passed. During each of these tests, the Subject maintained His ‘average’ to ‘below average’ rating.
In conclusion, I feel I must recommend for the Subject daily training reinforcement. Though the testing process was not sufficient for a complete evaluation, it was extensive enough to suggest that the Subject may maintain a higher success rate as long as proper reinforcement criteria are met.
Powers:
From the desk of Dr. Brady Gerard, Abnormal Ability Specialist for Mutant-Related Activity.
Though the Subject claims no mutant activity, extensive background checks have discovered at least one incident that may fall under this category. Necessary information has been documented, and the Subject will be put under surveillance upon his entry into the task force.
Damian has the ability to use other peoples' powers, as long as he's seen the power in use. He is effectively able to "store" a small number of powers within him, and they are ever-changing because, unfortunately for him, he has no way of controlling his "copying ability".
Note: Damian's ability to copy powers is limited to two at a time, and he is able to use them until a certain length of time passes or another power takes their spot - which could leave him shifting between abilities or going for a time without any at all, depending on who's around. Certainly makes it an interesting time trying to learn to handle any powers, that's for sure.
Though he can use them immediately, Damian doesn't always know which power he ended up copying (especially if there are multiple used at the same time) and has to figure that out before he can actually use it. On top of that, he doesn't have much control over them aside from the basic principle of "point and shoot", at least if that's how the power could work on a basic level. For his control to evolve past this point, it would have to be a power that he has absorbed for a long period of time, or one that he had come into contact with multiple times (akin to the “leveling up” of skills in video games).
Side effects/Weaknesses:
• The only way Damian can control what power he absorbs, and when, would be if he knew an ability was going to be used and then closed his eyes and looked away or…something if he didn’t want the ability.
• Damian's ability can most easily be summed up as "monkey see, monkey do."
o Damian does not need to be aware on a conscious level that an ability was used, but it does have to be used within his line of sight.
• When an ability is first “copied”, it is accompanied by an odd sensation that Damian has never been able to describe. For a long time, he wasn’t aware of what caused the sensation, but he is always aware of it showing up.
• Damian's ability also comes with the unfortunate side effect of powerful headaches or dizzy spells if he comes in contact with too many power too rapidly for him to handle. The severity of these spells depends on how many and how fast.
Previous Occupation:
Damian used to work as a cashier/stock boy at a local department store. One day, the store was robbed, with the thieves stealing a number of high end electronics. The store’s computers were smashed in the process and at the same time, there was no other backup of the inventory, which was necessary to determine what was stolen…until the police arrived and Damian stared rattling off everything that was missing, down to seemingly insignificant things like memory cards and computer cables. While his list couldn’t be entirely relied on, a few days later, a man was found peddling the “insignificant” things on the street. The police were able to use the peddler to find the rest of what turned out to be a much larger crime ring.
It was through this incident that one of the policemen suggested he look into a job on the force – seeming to be highly interested in his observational skills. However, he didn’t seriously consider the option until word came around that a new task force was being formed – this one to deal with mutant related activity. The words triggered memories of a strange incident from his childhood, and, his curiosity perked, he finally took the police up on their suggestion.
Background:
An only child in an average family, Damian came into his mutant abilities after puberty struck. His best friend at the time came into his powers around then too, and quickly discovered that he had the ability to walk through walls. Naturally, he showed off to Damien, and Damian, as most ever-competitive young boys would, decided to try too.
It worked. The two of them got into all sorts of mischief at school testing out the ability, with Damian following his friend around not unlike an excitable puppy. Things continued like this for a while, until a rift was caused when the ability stopped working for Damian.
At one point during sophomore year, Damian and his friend found themselves victims of high-school bullying. Scared of being found out, the friend stopped using the ability in hopes that the bullies would soon get bored and leave him alone. Damian, on the other hand, decided to take on the bullies with the ability about a week later. The plan didn’t work as intended, and he ended up running…but instead of running through the wall to get away, he crashed headfirst into the wall and knocked himself unconscious.
Damian’s parents couldn’t understand what had gotten into their son. Unaware of the “special ability” that the two friends “shared”, they only knew that their son had been hanging out with the other boy and developed a streak of reckless behaviors during their time spent together – including deciding to go running headfirst into a wall. Damian attempted to explain what had really happened, but, to his dismay and anger, his friend not only pretended he knew nothing about what Damian was saying; he also refused to use the ability again even when Damian managed to corner him alone.
Aside from the “walking through walls” incident when he was younger, Damian hasn’t had any further mutant-related instances. He hasn’t forgotten the one that he did have, but to his day he doesn’t understand what happened. He joined L.A.M.P. due to his high observational skills and a recommendation by his hometown police.
During L.A.M.P.’s first mission, the squad was assigned to discover the whereabouts of a listed criminal with mutant abilities. Upon discovery, they were to apprehend the criminal without unjustifiable damage to the surrounding location – safety rules and limitations set as stipulations to prove the squad’s ability and worth. The criminal’s mutant background involved the ability to change his appearance at whim, and the group was having difficulty tracking him down. At one point while in the field, Damian felt the odd sensation that comes with copying a new power (a feeling that had already occurred a number of times since joining L.A.M.P.). Because his mind was on finding the shifter, Damian’s ability kicked in and his own appearance changed to that of the photograph of the criminal they had all seen. Another member of the squad saw the change occur, and it was assumed to be a slip-up, that the criminal had been hiding in their ranks all along.
Within moments, Damian found himself being subdued by the rest of the squad, but as they were in the process of apprehending him someone in the crowd caused a commotion. As it turns out, the criminal had been hiding among the crowd and, startled by the sudden appearance of a very familiar face, his own appearance changed back. The change was noticed first by the crowd, then by L.A.M.P., and the criminal was apprehended as well.
Damian was still taken into custody, but was able to not only confirm his identity and lack of criminal background, but also the fact that he did, indeed, have mutant abilities. It was immediately determined that further testing would ensue.

Please do! I'd love to see this get going. It'd be a shame for it to die before it ever started.

Welp. I talked to Quaker and sadly he doesn't have the time needed to run this.
If someone else would like to pick it up, please do.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
I would, but I have a little too much on my plate at the moment. I'd love to see someone take the helm, though. I think this RP has a lot of potential.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
There's no way I'd have time to actively run a roleplay... ):
Maybe we could try a series of smaller "episodes" if no one's able to step up? Like come up with a criminal to persecute and then just go after them.
Didn't someone say they were willing to take it up a few months ago, when we thought it was dead (last time)?

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
I thought, maybe, Ysopet said something about being able to take the lead on this the last time interest for this waned. Maybe. My memory isn't always the best.
If we can't find anyone to run the role play, perhaps the idea of a series of smaller "episodes" is a good idea. That would be pretty easy to manage. I'd step up, but I've never run anything this big before. I would need help.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
I had asked Ysopet if he was still interested, but unfortunately, he doesn't have enough spare time either.
However! Your idea is a good one, Syrena. Why not each of us taking turns coming up with a scenario for our characters to interact within? That way we'd still be able to RP without a formal GM.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
I'd really like to see this get off the ground. Lara and Digital Muse are right; an episode format will make everything easier to manage between us. Plus, we'll all get a chance to come up with a fun scenario! ^.^
...and I'll get around to filling in the missing sections of my profile and finally post it.

Re: Task Force: Vanguard
Since this whole RP was my idea in the first place. I'll start off our RP with an opening post this weekend.
Why don't we each do a character introduction post and then I'll do a 'scenario' post for us to start off with.
