This is a thread where we throw our ideas around, store info from/for our roleplays, and tend not to partake in mindless chatter, 'cause Keith doesn't seem to like that sort of thing in OOCs for some reason.

So, we've got our stuff for Of Honourable Intentions, maybe someday something to do with Helga and Rowan... yup, yup. And fush and chups, brew.

D’Jiar’ark

Spoiler:

D’Jiar’ark is a desert land to the south of Narrud, south of the Desert Sea. It is one land mass with a few smaller islands to the south. To the south and south east, a range of mountains (the Shukon’arn) crosses the country, acting as a divider from two climes. The south shores of D’Jiar’ark are less arid than those anywhere else and act as farmland for the nomad tribes.
There are four major cities in D’Jiar’ark. Arkim’arth, Yuton’arth, Marc’arth, and Farn’arth. Arkim’arth was the first founded city, based on the north shore of D’Jiar’ark. It was founded by the largest tribe of Jiar’arki who believed their group was far too large to continue travelling with, but wanted to remain together instead of splintering apart like most tribes did when they grew too large. Arkim’arth is the capital.
Yuton’arth was founded for much the same reason, and also for the fact that with all the trade going to Arkim’arth, the north-eastern corner wasn’t getting much attention and the tribes were banding together just to provide food and livings for each other. Several large tribes were swallowed up by Yuton’arth.
Marc’arth was originally a fort stuck down a gap in the Shukon’arn, based there solely in the event that the barbarians further south (on the islands South of D’Jiar’ark) decided to attack and try to make it through the only known pass through the mountains. However, the barbarians never dared to set foot further than the shores to pick off the odd farm or so, and the fort eventually grew into a large city. It is the home to the military headquarters of D’Jiar’ark, and holds one of the largest military training grounds in the nation.
Farn’arth has only been built up recently at the joining of two rivers in the centre of the country. It is the main trading hub of the nation and the courts have been moved to Farn’arth to be in a more easily-reached part of the country for all people. There has been talk of making it the capital due to its central location and good farmland along the rivers.
There are two major rivers in D’jiar’ark. Both are sourced near Farnarth from underground springs. One, the Nor’arb, heads north-east towards Yuton’arth and its mouth exits just west of the city. The other, Arkim’arb, heads west before dancing around and making a bit of a mess and delta and turning its direction northwards towards Arkim’arth. It exits into the Desert Sea at the city harbour.

Concerning Warriors, Battle, and the Jiar’arci:

Battle is meant to be fought equally and is an honourable sort of thing rather than a fight-for-your-ego thing. If your opponent loses their sword, you wait for them to pick it up again or offer them a spare blade of your own. If they fall in battle without dying, you wait for them to get up or to offer you victory. At least, this is what the so-called ‘honourable’ warriors do. They don’t expect mercy such as this from their opponents, however, so are trained never to let down their guard. A warrior must never lie dead without a weapon in their hand, or so they are dishonoured in death.
The Jiar’arci, or Dishonourable Ones, was a title that came about from a tribe of misfits and outcasts. They might have made their way in society fine if they had carried on as a normal tribe, but they turned on the other tribes for their own gain and took to crime. They became notorious bandits and it took the Jiar’arki many, many years to take them down. They had been known to have no mercy, to have dirty fighting styles, would attack unarmed opponents, and committed many other ‘dishonourable’ deeds. Fighting for money instead of for family or land is considered dishonourable, also.

After they were taken down and disbanded, anyone who committed deeds such as those of the Jiar’arci were known to be the same as that tribe. Therefore, anyone who turned to mercenary work, fought excessively dirty, or attacked unarmed opponents was considered a Jiar’arc. The lawmakers became so enthralled with this idea of the ‘Dishonourable’ being lesser than themselves that they even made new laws to make anyone who married a Jiar’arci, came under the ownership of a Jiar’arci (such as servants or slaves), was born from Jiar’arci parents, or trained in battle by a Jiar’arci were also Jiar’aci themselves. (A Jiar’arci servant or slave in a Jiar’arki master’s house won’t affect the master or his family.)

A few notes on Jiar’arci children and their parents: Children who have been Jiar’arki their whole lives will remain Jiar’arki even if their parents become Jiar’arci, so long as they are older than sixteen and may live under another roof.) Say, a Jiar’arki man gets a Jiar’arci woman pregnant but doesn’t claim the child as his own and does not live with the child’s mother or have any lawful obligation to her. He can get away with remaining a Jiar’arki and his child will be a Jiar’arci, same as it’s mother. He can state that the child is his, but he must have no involvement with it. However, if he wants to be involved in his child’s life, he must become a Jiar’arci and give up his ‘privileged’ life.

In recent years, people aren’t putting up with the lot the Jiar’arci have been given and are making more and more demands that the law be changed and the whole concept of ‘Jiar’arci’ be abolished so everyone has equal rights. It’s leading up to a civil war, mainly focused in Farn’arth, but unrest is everywhere.

Concerning ‘The Stare Game’:

D’Jiar’arki are brought up with the rule to look someone in the eyes when they’re holding a conversation. It’s so to read the person’s mind as well as hear their words, so they can know what their companion or opponent is really thinking. (As a result, bad breath is generally tended to rather quickly to avoid embarrassment…) Some D’Jiar’arki military are taught how to recognize a person’s intentions or thoughts not only through their eyes, but also through their subtle changes in scent – though this is a rare gift and often only taught to spies or royal guards.

The ‘Stare Game’ can be unnerving to other people who do not belong to the culture. It can make them uncomfortable, believing the Jiar’arki to be staring them down or challenging them. Jiar’arki often have to take great pains not to fall back into old habits when in distant lands or foreign nations – otherwise they generally lose a few teeth.

Concerning History and Years:

The time system, for the Jiar’arki, started when Arkim’arth was founded. Written records only go back to 678 BAF (Before Arkim’arth’s Founding). History was passed down through the generations via verbal stories and yarns, eventually mangled to the point of not being discernible from myth and fantasy. Some of the stories were written down, but the whole history of the Jiar’arki people will never be found.

The common belief is that the nation of D’jiar’ark was formed by members of several nations. Explorers, outcasts, pioneers, and all other sorts somehow ended up in the land of D’jiar’ark. Instead of turning to war, they instead joined forces and worked together in relative peace, needing each other to survive in hostile desert environments. The ethnic groups evidently became quite diverse early on due to the mixed ancestry of today’s Jiar’arki, so tribes were most likely mixed to begin with. Nobody is certain if any of the ethnic groups were originally solely from D’jiar’ark before others came.

Spoiler:

Nomads:

The nomads wandering the desert herd livestock from oasis to oasis for a living. They sometimes get the opportunity to sell bits of dragons they kill, but this doesn’t happen often enough for them to make a constant profit off of it. The nomad tribes are accompanied by a special, unofficial group given to them by the military.

Men’s Fashion:

Men often wear shalwar kameez, though may exchange the kameez for a sleeveless version of the same shirt, or may go shirtless depending on the weather – generally, they can only go shirtless in winter when the sun’s rays are less damaging. Jewellery for men is generally restricted to piercings of the ears, nose, or eyebrows, or an amulet around the neck. One of the most ‘masculine’ amulets is that of a dragon-tooth. Clothing may be adorned with jewellery for formal occasions, although it is less common for men’s clothing to be so. Capes are a common out-doors item of clothing. Linen is the most common material.

Headgear is varied, but the most common is a mask to keep the sunlight away from the eyes and forehead, and often to shade the rest of the face. Masks are generally ornate, but affordable. Shoes are usually sandals, moccassins, or boots made of leather.

Spoiler:

Women’s Fashion:

The most popular casual wear for women is a lehenga and choli, though occasionally the lehenga will be switched out for shalwar pants. For the more conservative, a kameez may be worn instead of the choli. Jewellery is common, but clothes are rarely adorned with them unless for special occasions or unless they are dance-clothes. A shawl, large scarf, or cape is often worn outside to ward off the harsh sunlight. Linen is the most common material.

Spoiler:

Military Fashion:

Royal Fashion:

The Royal Fashion is much like that of the common people, but generally far more ornate. The jewellery is far more expensive, the colours attempt to be richer, and for the women, bejewelled veils are worn in public or outdoors. Masks are far more ornate than those of the common people, and materials are finer.

On Marriage and Relationships:

I figure that the Jiar'arki would stick to monogamy. Though, I don't think marriage is a big fuss - there is no ceremony as such, just a small legal obligation to report that they are a couple to the community. Usually there is a celebration, but Jiar'arki don't go through the whole 'vows' thing. They figure that marrying each other is enough evidence that they'll do all vows say you have to do...

... they definitely wouldn't do that 'I promise to obey' part.

I figure divorce works much the same way, just without the celebration. It probably sounds really easy to get in and out of marriage, but then there's social pressure from their families and friends - typically, Jiar'arki are very closely-knit into their community, though in the cities less so.

The Kajar

The boogey men of Narrasian history, the Kajar are a nomadic warrior culture to the North West of Narrud. All cultures who meet the Kajar discover and notice several key, common traits; their excessively violent behaviour, brutal way of life and greed. Though the Kajar are a people united by an identical language, culture, religion and ethnic/racial stock… They are not politically united, being divided into several bickering tribes that quite often war with each other as much as foreigners. The Kajar are native to a region known to them as Kajaristan; named after the Kajar themselves, it is a large portion of consistently barren and incredibly cold land. Geographically Kajaristan is primarily open plains, yet contains a substantial amount of harsh, high and snowy mountain ranges. Though these geographical features are not unique to Kajaristan and are just as much typically found in neighbouring nations; Kajaristan is defined by it's harsh cold weather, barren plains and unforgiving mountains.

Kajar culture revolves around both war and survival. Each are seemingly unavoidable and indispensable aspects of their culture, both holding great spiritual significance and in the view of most Kajar form a vital role in their identity. A pastoral nomadic lifestyle is key to life In Kajar culture, entire tribes travelling on horseback and oxen drawn caravans, simultaneously herding their livestock. They survive through raising, breeding and herding livestock such as yak, oxen, pigs and goats towards fertile areas of their land. The Kajar also make a living through the equally important and frequent enterprises of hunting, trade and warfare. Kajar exports typically include livestock and salt as well as finely crafted weaponry and jewellery, animal furs and clothing are also lucrative exports. However possibly one of the most infamous and universally acknowledged exports of the Kajar people… Are their mercenaries.

Ferocious, rowdy bands of Kajar warriors riding out to nations at war in order to hire themselves out to the highest bidder and participate in the most esteemed activity in Kajar culture- Fighting. The Kajar love fighting and seek out combat frequently, whether in an internal conflict with other tribes over grazing land or trade routes- To entire wars with foreign enemies, usually at the same under the employment of the other side. Kajar warriors most commonly hire themselves out to Narrasians; a people they know and have a minor cultural, linguistic and racial relation to. However many Kajar mistrust or hate Narrasians to such a degree that rather than seeking employment from them, they prefer to hire themselves out to the enemies of Narrud. Many others choose to attack Narrasian merchant and supply caravans for an easy and consistent profit.

The relationship between that of the Kajar and their Narrasian neighbours is tense, often hostile. Though the two peoples are not at war, small conflicts are frequent between them. Often through dodgy trade, thefts or cultural misunderstandings; alcohol has also a large part to play. Many Narrasian taverns, even entire towns refuse entry and service to Kajar as a preventative measure to ensure no risk of the Kajar's violent, often alcohol fuelled misadventures. Many Kajar travellers refused entry to a town or tavern will post themselves outside, harassing or even fighting with those leaving or entering. Some Narrasian towns even pay Kajar visitors not to make trouble, such an appeal to the Kajar's strong sense of honour and their pockets has many times proved a very successful method… For those willing to cough up the money. Narrasian home guard is often dispatched to police or repel unwanted Kajar tribes; the Northern border of Narrud is heavily guarded against potential invasion from Kajaristan and the Shang Empire. Much of the strategy Narrasian armies employ against Kajar war bands is simply to outnumber them, effectively combating the superior quality of Kajar warriors with the far larger quantity of Narrasian soldiers.

The Kajar have had little contact with those further South; only ever encountering the likes of the Jiar'arki in combat when fighting as mercenaries for Narrud. Kajar have often matched their ferocity, bravery, skill and brawn against the more organised and equally courageous Jiar'arki, the extreme heat of D’Jiar’ark also places a great handicap against the Kajar. Though the Kajar and the Jiar'arki rarely meet, this does not stop the Kajar from viewing them with prejudice. Most notably mocking them for their racial diversity and for being "Smelly". Jiar'arki fashion, food and customs also make the Kajar uncomfortable- Though the two both devoutly follow a warrior tradition, the Kajar look down upon many Jiar'arki values such as their relative lack of materialism and brutality in comparison to the Kajar. Like Narrasians, the Kajar see no distinction between that of the Jiar'arki and their Jiar'archi counterparts, nor are they aware or interested in any tribal divisions . Painting them all with the same brush, the Kajar plainly refer to the people of D’Jiar’ark as "Jakuri", a common mis-pronounciation of the word Jiar'arki. Inevitably becoming popularised into the Kajari word for the Jiar'arki and their various factions.

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

"When in Narrud, the Kajar often camp along the busiest of trade routes. Small towns made up of hundreds of yurts, caravans and temporary fencing; travellers are often harassed by swarms of screeching old or pregnant women trying to sell wares such as jewellery, weapons or furs. Many gangs of teenage Kajar girls mug more vulnerable passers by with knives and swords; while adult women in their prime typically join the men on hunts or other activities. People of all ages can be seen training in the skills of war all day round, come night fall; mobs of drunken Kajar warriors of both genders are frequently seen and heard fighting amongst each other… Sometimes playfully, but on occasion some individuals will take up arms against each other." - Hashan Ebin Azir, Narrasian geographer and scholar.

"Even if not in the line of sight, a Kajar's presence is seldom unknown. The men bark loudly at one another in Kajari, while the women screech incoherently as they speak. When the Kajar roam through civilised settlements they are always an unwelcome disturbance, often drunk and quarrelsome amongst them selves, as well as with others. They love combat and are quick to violence, fighting like rabid dogs they use almost any means at their disposal in order to achieve victory- However their initial reason or motive for fighting is almost always petty and trivial." - General Mahud Ebin Hassad of the Narrasian Empire.

"A pack of uncivilised cut throats and bandits, the Kajar are skilled warriors and masters of the sabre. Easily out witted and cheaply bought, they fight with little civility or decorum. They follow their greed like starving whores and are not above turning against their employers in the pursuit of greater profit." - Commander Sharif Golshiri of the Narrasian Empire.

Each Kajar tribe is led by a Tarkhan; an individual generally produced from the tribes wealthier families. The Tarkhan is a militaristic leader; though having the same level of involvement and decision in every day affairs of the tribe. A Tarkhan is expected to be a highly skilled and mercilessly ferocious warrior of sound tactical mind. Though in times of tribal division the Tarkhans represent the ruling class; there are periods of time where the Kajar are united under the banner of a single Tarkhan… Or Kazyan Gul, as it is referred to in Kajari. The Kazyan Gul is the equivalent to that of an emperor, however possessing an experienced military background and having no birth right into their position. A Kazyan Gul achieves their power through military conquest and besting the other Tarkhans in winning over the support of the people. The remnants of the Tarkhanate make the choice between submitting to or fighting against the Kazyan Gul. Those who accept the establishment of the Kazyan Gul serve under him/her as officers and generals.

A Kazyan Gul who has ascended into their title by killing the previous Kazyan Gul is known as "Sharukhan", the word roughly translating to "Assassin general" or "usurper". A Kazyan Gul achieving the title of Sharukhan is an individual of strongly validated power and is rarely questioned by the Kajar people.

Kajar to English dictionary (This will be gradually added to like the rest of the profile.) key tricks with getting a sense of pronunciation are, KH represents that fucked up KHHAAA phlegmy K sound that Arabic, Hebrew and other Semitic languages make, and also that the Kajar roll their R's. Enjoy ya faggots.

Characters

ULJIN AGRIRKATAR:

Uljin is a great Kajar warrior famed for his excellence in battle field tactics and cunning. Unlike many Tarkhans, he's a highly educated man fluent in Narrat and Shangur. He approaches obstacles and conflict with intricate strategy and ingenuity, Uljin is also know for being charitable, merciful and idealistic. Though he is still greedy, power hungry and completely ruthless; willing to murder anyone who gets in his way.

Those who's loyalty he does not have, he bribes. Those he cannot buy, he intimidates. Those who don't fear his threats, he kills; but as a man believing himself as flawless example of civility and righteousness, he seldom raises a blade to his enemies. Preferring to have others carry out his dirty work, most often his adopted daughter Habeesha; who he has appointed as his top assassin and chief military advisor.

Uljin despises the savagery and simple, practicality of his people. Envisioning a grander Kajar Empire, a more civilised and ordered nation for his people. Uljin's ultimate goal is his self righteous quest vision of a world united under the single ruler, the one state controlling all and for science, prosperity and law to be shared universally. Uljin is a very controlling individual who demands perfection and precision in all his schemes. He values quality, efficiency and loyalty; having no tolerance for incompetence and laziness.

An articulate man, viewing himself as highly sophisticated Uljin has great appreciation for music, art, literature and fine dining. In proper Kajar custom he always takes care of his guests, in Uljin's case… His guests are treated like royalty. Uljin often likes to appear as if freely spreads his vast wealth throughout the community. This however is not the case, simply throwing out meagre donations of money or food to his people. Simply a thoughtless series of bribes to maintain loyalty and obedience from the Kajar tribes.

Other than his love of the arts and his passion for administration and tactics. Uljin loves women, a notorious womaniser he frequently cheats on his wife with younger, prettier women (Often whores from Shang.), however he stays fiercely attached to his wife- Despite their mutual contempt for each other. Uljin sees a face value in maintaining a lawful marriage with his wife; despite his predilection for younger, more free spirited girls.

Habeesha Shalyin Yettenek

The girl with the silver teeth, a stone cold killer, a warrior in the truest sense. She doesn't have much desire for power for powers sake and simply uses any political power or influence she has as a means to her ends; generally to acquire wealth. Her father was a legendary warrior named Temajin Yettenek, who became the most notorious Sharukhan in Kajar history after he publicly and brutally murdered the tyrannical Kazyan Gul before him.

Temajin was believed to be the bastard son of the chief Kajar god- Shatar. Purely because of his inhuman skill and ferocity, as well as his ruthlessness. However Temajin's true colours began to show and he proved to be a warmongering mad man who craved battle- The Tarkhan's feared that he would spiral out of control and bring Kajaristan into anarchy and mayhem… So they murdered him; the entire Tarkhanate and their body guards dying in a bloody massacre within the palace. Temajin killing some near seventy warriors until he eventually bled to death from his many wounds.

His only living family was his wife Yesim Hajnir- A warrior also reputed to be as insane as Temajin, and his five year old daughter Habeesha; who Yesim frequently took her anger and violent impulses out on. In a merciless attempt to destroy all traces of Temajin altogether, the new Tarkhanate- The successors of those who died fighting Temajin… Tracked down Yesim and Habeesha; killing Yesim in a bloody skirmish and taking the daughter of Temajin; removing all her teeth and banishing her to the most violent, lawless wastes of Kajaristan.

Habeesha grew up in a level of brutality and hardship that made normal Kajar life look luxurious. Assumed to be dead by the Tarkhanate and the new Kazyan Gul Uljin Agrirkatar… A fifteen year old Habeesha emerged, under the moniker of "Shalyin" (Her middle name.) and her teeth replaced with silver replicas skilfully inserted into her gums. She demonstrated her astonishing skill and ferocity by killing the Tarkhan of her original tribe in single combat and consecutively murdering his body guards… Replacing them with a group of warriors that she had brought with her from the wastes; a death squad referred to "Shayir Hakkhan" (Burning blades or Swords of fire)

Immediately catching the attention of Kazyan Gul Uljin, he rode out with his entourage and the rest of the Tarkhanate to meet with her. However Uljin's feelings of diplomacy were not mutual; challenging Uljin to single combat and to her surprise losing, as well as receiving a vicious beating… Rather than deliver the finishing blow and killing her, Uljin was impressed by such skill and physical robustness for someone of her age. Offering her employment and as he worded "To be a Tarkhan amongst Tarkhan's", Habeesha accepted; proposing that she gladly slay his enemies so long as he would help her locate her cousin Drazi and provide him with lucrative employment as well.

Upon agreeing to her terms, Uljin went on to honour them. Unofficially adopting Habeesha as his own daughter and providing her a parental figure that she had never really had. Habeesha became ruthlessly loyal to Uljin, despite how his actions or views on occasion conflicted with her traditionalist Kajar ideology or simply her recklessness. A saying was said amongst the Tarkhanate that if Uljin had an issue that needed resolving, he would simply send out Habeesha and she would rectify the problems with her blades. Though the Tarkhanate feared her viciousness and willingness to murder anyone on Uljin's command; she became somewhat of a source of entertainment for them- Frequently joking or telling bizarre, silly stories in combination with her serpentine lisp provided much amusement and a relaxing distraction from what she really was. Warriors from all over Kajaristan had become to respect and idolise her based upon her upbringing, deeds in battle and most notably… Who her biological father was, and what he represented in the minds of modern day Kajar.

Habeesha is notorious not only for her skill and prowess as a warrior. But for her speed, silver teeth and snake like lisp, her hair is much shorter than other Kajar girls- Not much longer than her jaw line, she also has a diamond shaped star tattooed on her cheek under her left eye

Knifey Keith and Kate Orchix's 1x1 OOC Empty Re: Knifey Keith and Kate Orchix's 1x1 OOC

Post by Kate Orchix Tue Sep 25, 2012 10:15 pm

JIARESS BELHINSKA PANAIRE

Division: Royal Court / D'Jiar'ark
Gender: Female
Age (or near enough to): Mid-to-late-twenties
General Status: Alive
Martial Status: Unmarried

Having recently come to power in the past two years since her father's death, Belhinska is unlike most Jiar'arki rulers. She wishes to reform her nation to her ideals and form alliances with the stronger of D'Jiar'ark's neighbouring nations rather than to simply enjoy the luxuries of wealth like her predecessors. She wishes to destroy the barbaric Kemaltic lands to the South, but cannot do so without instigating a bit of a problem with the [Eastern Islanders]. Her ploy is to approach the Kazyan Gul, Uljin Agrirkatar, and form an alliance with him and the Kajar people so that they might take care of the [Eastern Islanders] for her while she can take over the lands of Kemaltican. She holds a strong grudge against the Kemaltic people since her mother, Ejmae Salaah Pamaire, was killed by them while on a diplomatic mission seven years ago.

Belhinska is a cunning woman. Seductive and flattering; aggressive and crafty, she has the ability to twist people around her fingers with relative ease. She is a chaotic person and cares little for her nation's economic booms, rather for war and power, and strong alliances with neighbouring kingdoms and empires. She operates via spies and assassins, but is well-versed in combat and trickery herself. There is a special place in her heart for assassinations by poison, and as a result is immune to most known poisons that she deals with on a regular basis.

Two years ago, she was almost unknown-of in her father's court due to her silence and the timidness that seemed to hold her. As soon as her father died, she took over the kingdom with a ferocity that startled even her closest friends and advisers. She disbanded her father's old advisory-court and replaced them with one man, Onaai Meklin, who she believed held similar hopes and ideas as herself.

Once she sorts some things out with her advisor and the Kazyan Gul, she plans to move the capital of D'Jiar'ark from Arkim'arth to Farn'arth. Already, she has set up a court there and is establishing a strong military presence by bringing down soldiers from Marc'arth.

ADVISOR ONAAI MEKLIN

Division: Royal Court / D'Jiar'ark
Gender: Male
Age (or near enough to): Mid-thirties
General Status: Alive
Martial Status: Unmarried

Onaai Meklin and Belhinska were briefly in a relationship, a situation that may or may not have led to Belhinska appointing him as her advisor. Whatever the reason, Belhinska now regrets her decision. The people love Onaai and his reasonable politics compared to Belhinska's lust for chaos. Onaai is a stable influence in the workings of D'Jiar'ark and he's up-to-date on all the going-ons. However, what Belhinska previously believed were similar goals are nothing of the sort - Onaai despises Belhinska's plans to make war with the Kemalts and stir up trouble with the [Eastern Islanders]. He also is against an alliance with Kajar, knowing that no good will come from the union.

Instead of bribing his way about or seducing people into doing his wishes, Onaai earns every piece of respect he gets. He enjoys hard work to reach a goal and attempts to be as honest and deception-free in his doings as often as he can. He loves his work and genuinely cares for the people he serves.

He may not be like Belhinska in many of her violent, chaotic ways, but he does share one similar hope: reform. He believes the differences between the Jiar'arki and the outcast Jiar'arci are unfair and should be removed. Belhinska believes that those differences should be exploited even more so to the point of the Jiar'arci being made slave labor or arrow-fodder. Onaai is currently battling with Belhinska over the details, leaving many Jiar'arci in suspense as they wait to see who wins the debate.

(Hence, the group in Narrud's capital. They're waiting for news of whether or not they will be treated fairly if they return home.)

So I'm adding a new villain and there WILL be more to come.

Sew uf yew dewnt lyke ut brew, u'll treck yew dewn un real lyfe en muss up yeh hair. Seriously, you'll look like a crazy person.

Hajan Yatar:

To this day more commonly known as "One eye", Hajan Yatar and what remains of his tribe fled to Narrud during a failed coup against Kazyan Gul Uljin Agrirkatar. Refusing to pay what he believed exorbitant taxes charged upon all the Tarkhans… Hajar gathered several allies and mustered up his own (At the time very large) tribe in order to overthrow Uljin. However this rebellion was swiftly crushed, Hajan barely managing to escape with his life- His right eye was stabbed out by Uljin's second in command, Habeesha Yettenek during a vicious skirmish. His honour and pride trampled upon, Hajan and his tribe fled to Narrud. His allies being left behind to suffer the full wrath of Uljin. Branded as both a traitor and a coward; Hajan earned a dishonourable reputation in Kajaristan, as well as forging a new face of notoriety in Narrud.

He now exists as merely a chief among bandits; leading his tribe in raids upon Narrasian trade roads and villages. As well as absorbing smaller tribes of Kajar refugees and merchants into his own. His daughter Yazia Yatar is a close, but now uneasy friend of Habeesha Yettenek… Yazia herself maintaining the slight cordial relationship between Hajar, his tribe, and Kajaristan.

Hajan is a vicious fighter, as well as an aggressive leader. He often acts without thinking and rarely considers the consequences of his actions.
