Re: Kate's Character Collection
Of Honourable Intentions (1x1)
Name: Dharka Cos'Harb
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Personality: Appearing quiet and observant when still, Dharka is often only noticeable because of her beauty. However, really she is fiery and ready for a good fight, and gets very frustrated if people underestimate her because of her gender and/or appearance. She can be an obstinate brat when she wants to be, and won't hesitate to taunt an enemy, either with words or by teasing gestures or even with her body.
She has a tendency to change character often, so nobody is certain what her true nature is like. She can be flirtatious and alluring one moment, and drawing a knife across someone's throat the next. She's obviously unhappy with the life she has, but wouldn't admit it to a soul.
Very Brief History: Born across the Desert Sea in the land of D'jiar'ark, Dharka was brought up as a child in the sea-side city of Arkim'arth. With her parents killed at an early age, she was brought up by her uncle - not an honorable warrior, but the only family she had left. Despite not being honorable, he was a great mentor and taught her everything he knew, teaching her both how to honorably fight, and also how to fight dirty - contrary to how their people believed a battle should be fought.
Due to being trained by a Jiar'arc (dishonorable warrior), her name was tainted when she attempted to join the Jiar'ark (means 'honorable warriors' and refers to the people of D'jiar'ark in general) military and they turned her away. She eventually joined a mercenary group who were planning to travel across the Desert Sea and came to the land of Narrud, a place where the mercenaries found themselves facing a land of dishonest warriors, much like themselves, but the Narrasians had less... grit.
They took up a few odd jobs, but ended up squabbling amongst themselves and taking sides so eventually they split the group up and went their separate ways. Since then, Dharka has gotten involved in many illegal activities to earn money, and has taken to 'dishonorable' methods such as thievery, scamming, and extortion.
Appearance: Disclaimer: I didn't draw this, but I did tweak it a bit so she'd have the skin and hair colour I want her to have. Her eyes are a hazel-green.
Other Info: Katanas she brought with her from home - just... more realistic looking. She carries an assortment of knives in her belt, hidden away, and wears something similar to a more feminine version of this. Like the picture there, her travel clothes are a little tattered and in need of replacement. She carries a shoulder bag which contains some other clothes more suitable to Narrud's fashion. On her hip, she always has a small flask of wine. Her naval and the lobes of her ears are pierced.
Note: 'Dishonor' in the Jiar'ark way doesn't necessarily mean fighting dirty alone - everyone fights dirty compared to the Narrasians. Dishonor could come from being trained by someone who stole/committed a crime or gave their skill in return for cheap pay - mercs, people who are looked down upon with contempt. Mercs (considered Jiar'arcs) aren't considered real warriors, because they have nothing to fight for except gold. Real Jiar'ark warriors fight for something, such as land, freedom, or their family.
Name: Epie Cos'Harb
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Notes (Replacing Appearance, Personality, and Bio for now): Dharka's cousin (her father's brother's daughter.) Eight years' difference.

Re: Kate's Character Collection
Helga And Rowan (1x1)
Name: Prince Rowan Blaire
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Occupation: Prince - second in line to the throne. Otherwise, a skilled swordsman and archer.
Appearance: Six foot four, Rowan is a tall man and easily sticks out in a crowd due to his regal air, broad build and upright posture. His pale skin is only slightly tanned, and despite being a prince, he has large, rough hands due to many hours handling swords. He has large, almond shaped blue eyes that give him a naive, innocent look. His dark, slightly wavy auburn hair reaches his shoulders and rarely looks messy. His clothes are almost always nice and neat.
Personality: Generally accepting and gentle, Rowan has been said to be naive and childish at times. He likes women very much, but always remains a perfect gentleman in their company. Frustratingly enough, against his parents' wishes, he is yet to find a woman he would call his wife and doesn't seem interested in finding one yet. He cares for people, but knows when to leave trouble-seekers to their own devices. He likes drinking, friendly brawls, riding, but rarely goes with his father or brother on hunts, preferring to stay at home with his younger sister. He also likes reading... and has a bit of an artist flair which he sometimes expresses with poetry.
Skills/Strengths/Weaknesses: Rowan has been trained since his late childhood/early teens how to weild a sword and fire an arrow. He has shown an interest in blacksmithing, but is still relatively new to it. He is greatly literate, can drink at least six beers before starting to have a problem - flirtatious behavior, violence, then loss of consciousness. Despite his great battle skills, he has never actually killed anyone in a real battle, and dreads the day he will have to. He has a blindspot in his right eye where he just can't see that extra little bit in his peripheral vision like other people can - birth defect.
Equipment: A long silver broadsword with a leather hilt and dark red stone in the pommel. A shield with the Royal Guard's crest on it, large enough to cover from neck to thighs. Dark leather armor with silver chainmail beneath it. A yew bow and a large... quiver(?) of arrows with white feathers in them. He carries a small, leather and cotton shoulder bag, with some books and personal items in it. At his hip, he carries a small cask of wine, but rarely drinks from it.
History:
Name: Princess Ivette 'Ivy' Eloisa Blaire
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Occupation: Princess - third in line to the throne. Student.
Appearance: Five foot four, and with a slender yet nicely shaped build, Ivette is the epitome of daintiness. She has small, smooth hands; fingers with tapered ends, and nicely manicured nails. Her eyes are a soft grey-blue and her hair a reddish-auburn tone with natural gold highlights. When let down, her hair reaches a few inches past her waist, but she tends to keep it done up in a long plait down her back. For more formal occasions, she twists the plait into a bun. She usually wears beautiful dresses, but dislikes riding side-saddle, so if she rides anywhere, she will wear men's clothing if she can get away with it.
Personality: Trained from birth to be the perfect little lady, Ivy is a quiet girl. She has no real sense of rebellion and doesn't really mind that she's a princess - she has no desire to be anyone different than the person she currently is, although she feels that she could quite easily drop the political rot that her parents insist she learn about. She loves adventure, but prefers to find it alone than in a group with people. She is friendly enough, but isn't constantly looking for friends as she prefers books over people. Her silence can be mistaken for shyness, when it is rather a case of her daydreaming so hard that she loses contact with the real world. If she could be anything other than a princess, she would travel the world and write about her exploits. If frightened, she will prefer to flee than stand and fight. She hardly ever gets angry, but when she's upset she is a force to be reckoned with for the downright depressing 'atmosphere' that surrounds her.
Skills/Strengths/Weaknesses: Ivy knows a very small amount of magic, able to levitate small objects and read magic tomes. Very literate, can sketch and paint with considerable prowess, and best has a conversation with someone if she doesn't have to look at their face directly. She knows the native tongue of the Dwarves. She's well-known for being skitterish about spiders, clowns/jesters, and flames. She can't resist cute fluffy things, and is afraid of sharp objects like blades or needles. Due to her upright posture and the way she holds her body, she would never fit in with a crowd of commoners. The sight of blood or chicken bones tends to make her woozy and she may suddenly sit down wherever she is when she sees either.
Equipment: At most times when she's out, she carries a small bag of art and writing supplies over her shoulder. Around her neck, at all times, she wears a silver chain with a small pendant on it which doubles as a whistle.

Re: Kate's Character Collection
Misc. (Characters I've made but are yet to be put in an actual roleplay.)
Caratacos Meireadhaigh
Genres: Fantasy and/or Sci-Fi.
Age: 26
Notes: Originally created to be a violent merc-turned-miner in a medieval fantasy setting, his most easily reached weapon is a pickaxe. Caratacos, or Cara for short, has congenital analgesia, or a complete and utter insensitivity to pain. This isn't always a good thing, however - even if he can withstand torture without even flinching, he doesn't realize when he's harming himself. He has no sensitivity to temperature, so he can place his hand in a fire and only react to it once he realizes with his conscious mind that what he's doing is stupid - his brain won't automatically make him pull his hand from the fire.
Due to his condition, Caratacos has many scars across his body from instances where he never noticed he was hurt. Since he doesn't feel pain, he doesn't have the fear of potentially dangerous people or objects. His most prominent scar is the one reaching up his right side of his mouth where a blade caught him in the lip and dragged up to just below his right eye. He never felt it.
Cara can be somewhat selfish in motives, and has a very calculating mind. He knows when to take risks and when to stand back and let things progress without his intervention. He considers himself a lucky man for making it so far in life with his condition, and doesn't let it hold him back from anything.
Appearance:
Tindomerel "Tindo" Imirie
I've used Tindo before and am trying to develop her for a chatbox D&D game. Thought it might be fun to try using her again.
(WIP)
Character Sheet:
Name: Tindomerel "Tindo" Imirie
Age: 24 (Looks a little younger due to elf-heritage of her mother)
Race: Tiefling
Class: Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Appearance: Image here. Tindo stands five foot six, slender and elegant. If not for the golden horns growing from her temples, few would believe her to be a tiefling. Her eyes are an unusual, catchy aqua color. She wears a dress much like the one shown in the image, it stops at mid-calf, but her legs are covered up to the knee by hardy leather boots. A tattered black cape with a loose hood shrouds her shoulders and she keeps the hood up to cover her horns - as a result, hiding her eyes from observers also. (See Armor) Apart from the horns, she appears to have no other physical aspects of her race.
Animal Companion:
Bio:
Personality & Traits:
Flaws: A racial trait of some tieflings is that others can sense something 'unworldly' or creepy about them, or even a scent of brimstone. Tindo only has this to a degree, the taint of her heritage being so faint. There is no scent about her, but if she touches someone, they are liable to being creeped out and feeling as if they have spiders crawling all over them. People can adjust to this, but it takes a fair amount of willpower... or liking spooky feelings.
Feats & Skills: Considerable skill with her fiddle, singing, and the art of (.... what was I gonna write here?)
Magic:
Weapons: Shortbow, Longsword, Dagger (Will find pics soon)
Armor: A simple leather breastplate that protects her throat, chest, belly, and back - no pauldrons. She has padded armor she wears on her legs beneath her dress, and her sturdy leather boots can take a fair beating.
Other possessions: Fiddle, waterskin, small travelling pack
