Oh man, I feel really bad for you guys and everything, but I don't think you can appreciate how long I've been waiting for this.

At least somebodies team is doing something! I'm sure our teams will turn it around soon enough.

Re: Hockey thread
No to any recovery from your teams. :c You've already had your turns. Well, not the Jets, technically, but still!
Re: Hockey thread
That is literally what everyone is saying about every Leafs fan. Aside from 'enjoy it while it lasts, 'cause it ain't lasting long'.
Re: Hockey thread
So sorry! D: Awww, and you were so happy earlier! I almost feel bad for teasing you before.

Cheer up. Tomorrow is another day and things could get better. Besides it can't rain all the time. And I am out of recycled words of encouragement. But seriously, the season is just beginning and there could still be some work behind the scenes that has to be done before they improve. It happens to every team.

Re: Hockey thread
Winnipeg goes against Florida tonight. They can do it! No more losing! At least make 'em fight for it!
Meanwhile, my home team, the Binghamton Senators, whom I never talk about because it's AHL and who cares? but I just recently saw an update for, lost against the Hershey Bears last night 3-2.
I don't mean to be rude about it, but those are awful uniforms. They look like a bunch of butchers/slaughterhouse workers who just came off duty and forgot to get out of their work clothes. Or possibly, the Bears look like they were mauled by bears. I'm really hoping that they meant to imply the red was bloodsplatter of some kind and not just as something trying to be "hip" or cool or going against the norm. Because, honestly those aren't professional looking at all, in my personal opinion. =/

Re: Hockey thread
Well, the Wings have finally picked up a few wins. I am glad they got things turned around. How are your teams doing?

Re: Hockey thread
That's too bad. Maybe they can turn it around like the Wings did. They went 6 straight before picking up a win. Hopefully the Leafs can do something similar.

Re: Hockey thread
Winnipeg won 1 out of 6 games since I last updated and they've got a game against Tampa tonight.
The Habs have done better, winning 3 out of their last 5 games and they also have a game tonight, against the Sabres.
My back-up American team, the Bruins, is the only one that seems to be doing better, winning all 5 of their last games. Tomorrow night they'll go up against New Jersey.

Re: Hockey thread
The Habs beat the Bruins TWICE, in a row, one at home and one away. What does that say about Toronto? *poke poke*

Re: Hockey thread
THAT IS TRUE.
The Habs just can't catch a break. I love 'em for it. HA HA HA, QUEBEC!

Hey! Don't laugh! >8[ Quebec will kick your ass next time! Just you wait, Miss BE-LEAF!

The Habs lost last night 3-2 but the Jets won 5-2.

Wings play tonight but I don't think I will be able to watch the game. Might be able to catch it on the radio though.

Re: Hockey thread
I have never tried to listen to hockey on the radio but I do not anticipate ever picking it up. I'm very visual about it and I think I'd have trouble getting excited about it if I cannot at least see the players or what they're doing. Just a personal ADHD thing, I think.
Anyways, fingers crossed, Sunwolf. Beat the Blues! ^.^

Well, we didn't get the blues but we have won 4 straight as of Friday. Not too bad. How are all your teams doing?

Re: Hockey thread
I haven't been keeping up with my teams lately except for an occasional glance. D: But! I've talked with one or two customers at work about hockey and it made me very happy(there's NO ONE to talk about hockey with in my area). And there's one guy who comes in with a huge Bruins hoodie rain jacket all the time; my manager was not happy that I decided to yell "Yeah! BOSTON! BOSTON! BOSTON!" at him one time(he wasn't at my register but a few lines over). But once I explained I was a hockey fan, it made it somewhat understandable, lol. ^^;
Speaking of Boston, they've won 13 out of 16 games since the last time I updated! Tartra! I think they're gonna go for the Cup again this year!!!
The Canadiens won 6 out of 17 and Winnipeg won 9 out of 15(not bad; at least they're not losing as much as they were in the beginning! Go, Jets! Go! Quebec, I am disappoint).

I turn on the Wings game tonight and they are playing Vancouver. Go Wings! For the last set of games the wings have been hot.
