The Chain Game

Surely most of you are familiar of this game (though probably know it by another name). The rules are simple, we are to create a story one word at a time and see what we end up with. Example:

Go ahead an copy the line from the previous post and add on your word in bold just to help it stand out. Now let us begin and don't forget about punctuation!
