Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
T_T Esuni counts! Esuni counts! She is a beautiful SEEEEEA DRAGON!
On that note, I'll probably have Esuni out for a good portion of the RP. I just have to let the other patrons get used to her first :3

Hope I didn't step on your toes too much there Delve. Got what I was going for when it came to giving up Laevatein though.

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
Nah, its cool. Whatever it takes to get this story going. I know you submitted the information of the sword before the rp started but I would preffer it if Sar actually explained the history behind the sword in character if you don't mind?
Otherwise Amethyst will surely ask for you to explain it in Sar's words. It would also help if Sar explained how he is able to compress its power with his abilities. I was going to write something along the lines of the sword actually catching fire once Amethyst held it and she supresses the fire from growing by putting it out with her hand going across the blade cutting herself and surrounding the blade with her djinn blood. A temporary spell would be placed on it to subdue its extrodanary charactertistics in order to store it with the rest of the sister's collection.
You could either edit it in now or I will just have Amethyst ask in my new post.

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
The blade isn't chaotic, and it doesn't have a will of its own. Sar doesn't supress it per say, he just doesn't feed into it. I did have the idea that it could be super charged being on Sar's person, and it would need to remain unused for a few days for the energy to discharge, but I could go with or without that. Was going to see how I felt when we got there.
If you were to go with the idea that you set out, it wouldn't be that Amethyst had to subdue the weapon but subdue her spirit, as the weapons in my back story feed off the soul (Which would explain it being supercharged from being around Sar for so long.). Both are fine with me.
And go ahead and ask IC. I'm happy with the post, and wouldn't mind doing a similar explanation of Laevatain.

Is this even casual rp anymore? lol
Alright cool, I will see whether I can get my post up tomorrow morning. So much going on right now...with work. Hopefully my creative juices are still flowing once I get home.
Edit.
Posted...which is now the longest post ever! I think the century gothic font has a lot to do with it. I was chatting it up with Raspeyer if this rp even counts as casual--which is in a casual setting but not written in short casual writing. I have no qualms with it! I like reading everyone's posts with details. Mhmm. :3

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
What have I missed? My sister will be joining us in this soon I hope so that should help.
Also, here is an idea of what the summon I made is supposed to look like:
Only instead of little feet he just has a caterpillar tread that is mostly hidden in his body. he's also only about knee high.

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
coolio. It'd be good to get another female in the mix, that'd make us an even group!
Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
Count has to post next so Citrine could respond to Vard. Everyone else can post anytime.
Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
D'aaaawwwww! <3 Adorable. Simply adorable.
I'mslightly very, very busy with schoolwork, and I won't be able to post except for on the weekends.
It's not long, but it's something. Cyquen's going to walk away and wait for something exciting to happen.

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
I thought we were waiting for Count since he hasn't posted in a bit. Sorry, I'll get on posting soon, within the next day or two.... I will venture out into the forest and begin my quest soon...
again sorry for the wait, I was trying to give Count and Sol a turn. Now that Sol has posted and got things going on his end I'll get on the posting....

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
More information on the summons and my personal business and disappearance.
Life's a mangy mother dog. I have a sketchy schedule, so feel free to interrupt posting order if I don't make an appearance. Homework and social things have banded together to make online life difficult, too...
Summons: I forgot to mention the skills!
Your summon will have four Main skills and three Sub skills. Main skills are general abilities, but Sub skills are far more specific.
As an example:
Main - Duck-Paddle: Creature can swim above the water
Sub - Paddle-Wagon: Creature can ferry others across water on its back
Coughcough sorry. An example from Khyrian, then.
Main - Holy Blade: Creature attacks with a blade infused with light energy.
Sub - Dual Blade: Creature attacks in cooperation with another creature to deliver a dual-elemental slice.
Khyrian is intended for tandem use with Stygian, so Holy and Dual blades fit the specifications for him.
For your adorable Catorbillar, I would suggest something like the following:
Main - Tractor Beam: Creature emits a beam of energy that can grasp an object lighter and smaller than itself without physically touching it.
Sub - Multitractor: Creature can shoot multiple Tractor Beams out of its body to grasp multiple objects or lift an object heavier than itself.

Short short post. Sorry kind of blah but I'll be introducing a new character once Wildsword gets to the village by the temple, A pretty village shaman lady, ooo, la la.

Re: Ricochet: Traveling Tavern [OOC]
I am wondering the same thing. I could use one of my old characters for this too.
