BBCode questions
I've noticed that we don't have all the BBCode that exists, just some of the basic ones. Glow, for example, we don't have.
Is that a Forumotion thing, or is it possible to add more?
Or does it even matter, since we can do HTML anyway?
Also, one other thing.
The "blur" tag. It seems to result in different things for different browsers. When I use Firefox (and I think Chrome; gotta double check), the "blur" makes it look really awesome, like a glow. However, in Internet Explorer, it just looks blurred, all but unreadable.
blurry blurred blur stuff in spiffy blur color what sometimes glows.
Does anyone know why that is?

Re: BBCode questions
I wasn't aware that those things existed as BBCode tags ( http://www.bbcode.org/reference.php ). It's possible that they're custom tags. I doubt I'd be able to add any custom BBCode tags though since that's on Forumotion's end.
As for things like that being rendered differently depending on the browser. It's probably because those BBCode tags are actually created from CSS. They are either done with CSS3 text-shadow attribute or with the now depreciated Filter: Blur. Any version of IE before the current one doesn't support CSS3.

Re: BBCode questions
That's all actually the official BBCode, Kalon. People make up their own code. It's not internet code; it's forum code. Axiom explained it to me like an app. It's actually performing the functions of CSS. Hope that helps explain it a little!
Re: BBCode questions
Yeah, those are the official ones that come with phpBB. With phpBB you can create your own custom BBCodes, but unfortunately we don't have that ability with Forumtion. It has been suggested: http://help.forumotion.com/t9834-custom-bbcodeKalon Ordona II wrote:That reference lists only the common ones, I guess.
Thanks for the answer!
Here is the list of BBCode provided by Forumotion: http://help.forumotion.com/faq?mode=bbcode
