Just read it and great post! I'm curious as to how Ramya is going to try to stir things up, though you know Bors will resist Razz

And of course, if/when the Captain and First Mate learn of it. Also, now that we have her onboard, we should probably start brainstorming about how we are going to do our entrance to the Break. Ideas?

I PMed artorius our ideas.

I'd say we are a ways from the break yet. I imagine that we will suffer a storm or two before then, plus we have to sail through some major crap (think razor sharp rocks that seem to move on their own...) before we even ENTER the break. Then we get to the good stuff, haha.

I'm thinking right after or during the break is when we can run into the Aerona character Kathryn and I were brainstorming (read from here to catch up on Aerona).

I opened the roleplay for two more positions upon the merchant ship. Hopefully we'll find at least one interested candidate.

I updated the ship info list and took the pirate crew from 30 to 20 (assuming ten were lost in the last fight with the Possum). Adding our five men, together there is a crew of 25. Hopefully this works for everyone.

So, I went to try and post something but I'm at a loss as to what to post next. I have a feeling most of us are feeling the same way. I propose that Kathryn/Undisputed go straight to her trying to drill him for details etc. There's not much my character can do but sit and brood...and It's way too soon for an awesome escape scene.

Well, everyone deserves to have a spot in the game! There's no reason why you should have to change your character or situation to suit what's already happening, and it seems illogical that the pirates would go after three ships, you know? I think making a new character so that you can stay true to your original idea is the best bet, and it's no skin off my back! In fact, I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun and even a bit challenging to play two completely different characters: one coarse and foul mouthed and one more refined and understanding.

Hm... Are the positions on board a merchant ship the same as aboard a pirate ship, just... more refined and/or orderly? What positions would you say are most needed/wanted by your character/crew?

Probably a navigator and/or a mercenary are most needed right now. Additionally, after the kraken attack, if you'd like to wait til that's over, I'm going to need a second in command. You can also make whatever other position you might like to RP as, those are just what I think the merchant ship most needs right now.

Because Ryona already has one sailing master/navigator, I'll make my character that position because I'm sure she won't want two characters who are the same occupation. Variety is the spice of life!

Do you want me to wait until after the Krakken attack to join, period, or do you just want to wait until that's over before my character or Ryona's character becomes the second-in-command?

I'll make a Merc character. I think that I may give him no power, and just use Mojave's character as an NPC whenever you need some fancy wind work. How does that sound?

I've already decided that my character grew up on the outskirts of the Death Sands on the mainland, but she can breathe underwater ((Yay, irony!)). That's the extent of her power. =3 It's small, but it's sea related and not really powerful like Ramya's even if hers only applies to visual things.

Sry for the absence! Personally, i thought we were waiting on GC to do his post, but if he can't then moving on will probably be the best course of action. Aside from your new characters, of course Razz

. So, how you want to do this Kathryn? Maybe you can corner Bors somewhere? Knowing how he is, he wont talk willingly. We should probably think of some way for Ramya to force the story from him. Extortion, blackmail, large quantities of alcohol, etc.
