Um.
Yeah, I really don't have an excuse, especially cause I've pretty much thought of what I'm writing. It'll happen
I'm used to Emoria posting schedules, I guess

Lol
I don't mean to be pestering, but I did want this one to be a bit quicker than that, because ALL of the role plays I am currently in are about that speed (or worse, if that is possible...)
Thank you, and believe me everyone, I know what busy schedules are like. If you can't post, you can't post, but I want this thing to be active so just try your best guys.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
Hmmm....it makes sense though, ya? You got us new people, who are excited for it in one hand. Then your "seasoned warriors" in the other, and to them it's nothing big, just another battlefield. Hope it's not like the stories though.....the eager, new troops are usually the first to die......

Buzz, your post was really interesting. I like Daniel's ability a lot. It's really fascinating, and I'm looking forward to reading more about it and about the character himself.

I agree with Kathryn, the ability is a cool one. I'm kinda looking forward to how your dude shall react when he meets my Pirate. I mean, the Captain is bound to have alot of those dead guys floating around.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
actually, I'd love it if everyone could PM me who, if fact, they have killed. I didn't really think about it when I was like "That's a cool idea!"
Thanks, though, guys. I'm really starting to like the sorry sod
and Undisputed... you just have to learn when to jump in the foxhole

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
Actually, Buzz, I was considering doing that. I just have to figure out exactly whose deaths Ramya has caused because I know she's not a pirate without a bit of blood on her hands.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
Oh goodness, I have to decide who she's killed? Decisions, decisions...
FYI, Hello Danger's access to internet is limited for the next couple of days, but he should be back online soon.
Edit: Question. If my character feels responsible for the death of her parents (their ship wrecked in a storm and she was the sole survivor) would they be attached to her? Or is it only a by hand, by will sort of thing?

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
Aww. Poor Danger. =(
Hm... That's a good question, Ryona. I wondered similarly myself. Like... if Ramya uses her shadows to lure someone to their death but doesn't actually kill them herself, would that still count, or is that not a direct enough kill?
Also, my post has been submitted!

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
I don't really know either, but I suppose I should be consistent, so I think I'll say that if you feel responsible for their deaths, then they are still connected to you. In the same way, if you are completely without remorse for killing someone, I suppose they would not be bound to you. Think of it sort of like the saying "You're not really dead as long as someone remembers you". Looking forward to running into a few pirates, though. Sounds like it's gonna be quite the race
Great post, Kathryn!

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
So should we make a list of all of the people that our characters feel they killed and send it to Ryona so she can post it up somewhere, and if buzz does something to make a character forgive themself or they forgive themselves for it we can have her remove it from the list?
If we do this, buzz can refer to this each time before he posts, making it easy for us not having to pm him evertime he posts.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
Maybe what we could do is add it to our personal character sheets. Because our sheets are linked to the first post, all we have to do is update it ourselves accordingly. This takes stress off Ryona because she won't have to deal with updating things herself every time. It would be a personal responsibility for each of us.

True Kathryn but it aslo makes it a bit harder for buzz to simply look at the list

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
Well, he'd only need to look at the sheets of those with whom his character is interacting, and if we make a specific section in the sheet, all he has to do is click the link to the sheet, find the section, and he's good to go.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
That would be a good idea, putting it in the character sheets. I think buzz can handle it
However, I don't think that forgiving ourselves should remove the ghost. If that is the case, the pirates probably would have few if any. I think that for someone to have purely no remorse they should be really, really evil. Even if someone isn't sobbing about who they killed, we can assume that a part of their subconcious is aware of what they did and how it isn't completely right.
But that is just my opinion, and mostly it's my opinion so that buzz's power isn't rendered useless due to the "cutthroat" nature of this role play.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
I could probably argue that my power is already pretty useless...
But yeah, I can pretty much handle it. I think it's kind of interesting that the power kind of makes you wonder whether these are just memories of people or whether souls are bound to those that killed them Maybe my character is just crazy and sees things. If you want to put it into your character sheet, I'd really love that. My PM inbox has this way of filling up... and messages just kind of tend to disappear after a while. Thanks for being so helpful, guys.

Re: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen OOC
I love the "Davey Jone's Locker" thing. That's awesome. XD I'm so using that.
Also, I never intended for my character to have forgiven herself for the deaths she's caused whether they were on purpose or in self defense. She may be a pirate, but she was raised to be a good person. The past few years have just led her to realize that a hard life causes one to make hard choices.
I do like the mysterious nature of not knowing whether Daniel is truly seeing ghosts or if they're simply imprints of memories of those who have died. After all, I have always believe ((in real life)) in ghosts, but I also believe they can communicate with the living if the living either listen hard enough or if the spirits try hard enough. The fact that Daniel can't seem to communicate them makes me think that maybe they're just imprints, but who knows. This is an alternate world, and maybe ghosts behave differently in it. ^^_^^
