Yeah, I don't mean to sound crazy or too ambitious. Perhaps the Golden Albatross gets raided by Fasar's Hoard, and then Alphonsus and at the bare minimum the other two PC's join the Jolly Possum in a last ditch attempt to reach the Irinen first. What do you guys think?

Hm... Well, we discussed what would happen specifically with the pirate end of things in the chat box.

Basically, the pirates were going to raid the Jolly Possum and keep the ship as a second sailing vessel to better store the treasure they anticipate getting at the end of the journey when they find the Irinen.

I'm not entirely sure how your idea would work. If the pirates raid the Golden Albatross, it's unlikely they'd also meet up with the Jolly Possum, you know? So how would your characters ditch the Albatross to get onto the Possum?

It was just a suggestion, if you already worked out an idea, I'd just go with that. I honestly was thinking we'd all work out the specifics together if it came to that.

I apologize if I sounded harsh about it. Part of the problem with the internet is that words can be interpreted in different ways. I only meant that I wasn't sure if it would be believable that the pirates would encounter the Possum soon enough after overtaking the Albatross, so if they kidnapped the PC's, Ryona would still be writing on her own for a while. It also seems a little unbelievable that the Possum would encounter the Albatross soon enough after the pirate attack (in the even that the pirates left the PC's to die) that they could be saved, you know? I didn't mean to sound like I was shooting your idea down as worthless because it's not. We were all brainstorming for a way to solve it, and we just happened to do so in the chat box.

However, I agree that in the future, all plot ideas concerning more than one ship's crew should be discussed in this thread unless we can get everyone in the chat box together. I honestly just stumbled upon the chat box while Ryona and Guilty were in it, and we started talking about the solution. I apologize for not thinking to include others in the role-play in the discussion.

Yes, in the future I'll try and keep all plot discussions here. I remember that being a big problem in Emoria and now I feel bad having done it. Basically I'm going to get kidnapped by the pirates because it was the fastest solution. If ever HD comes back or more people join, we will probably alter it so the Jolly Possum is on its own again.

Not at all Kathryn. No need to worry. Sorry if my post sounded overly defensive or aggressive. As you said, a lot of emotion can be lost with just text. As for the actual plot, I'm willing to go with whatever you've worked out.

Ok, sorry for the wait! post should be up shortly! I decided to do the Gun battle, and end my post during the boarding, where the next person will take over. I added the other two pirates into the first part of my post, but tried to keep your participation to a minimum during the ranged fight, so that you can RP what you did during that time, then move onto the boarding, etc.

If you're gonna dance with a bigger beast, then you best know where it's gonna be stepping. Describe your days, dear pirates(feel free to make crew scruffles, and whatever else pleases your drunken hearts) but come nightfall, the Captain will be speaking with the two of ya for some...planning.

Hope it's good. The navy raid(thanks Kathryn) will give us some action soon, just gotta get to it.

Eh? when we talked in the chat room, i thought we had planned out that the next post would be mine, to start the battle, Kathryn to continue it, and GC to finish it, we take one prisoner who give us information.....then after that we pick you up somehow. Was i wrong? Uhh....well, i kinda already posted. I can edit it to be something else if you want, then use this current post to start the royals battle later, if you guys want. Oh, and sorry if i wasn't perfect with your guys characters, and the non player ones. If it wasn't like your personality of speech pattern let me know so i can change it, I'm still learning all of your characters styles lol, since it's still early

Aye, that was the original plan, but I think it changed to this after the chat room session. Excellent post, by the way. Mary Alice is always grumpy when interrupted, and Bors is just the unfortunate recipient it seems. Captured Tobias excellently as well. He dosen't have the same rough speech as his crew, which came across perfectly.

For boarding, Kathryn, I have but one request. Tobias will be right there with the men, if not the first on board the enemy ship. Never asks the boys to do something he himself wouldn't do.

I figured we could wrap up the whole fight in one post from each of us, so I think a day or two after the Navy fight, the Possum could definitely spot the Hoard. You can mention it at the end of your post, methinks.
