Alright, so I watched Bruce Almighty a few days ago; great movie. That night I had a dream where I thought I was God and I had all his powers and everything. It suffices to say it was a very strange dream. Well, I was thinking about it today and it gave me a great idea for an RP. I was wondering what would happen if the Greek Gods were forced to become mortal. Not just in mortal disguises, but truly mortal. They would still have their powers, just extremely muted versions of them. I have most of the story worked out already, so no need to worry about that. Does anybody think this is a good idea?

Yup, first come first serve! Glad to have you Shades! Anybody who wants to join can take a pick from any of the twelve Olympians: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Ares, Hermes, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, and Hestia. You've got Artemis so we can cross her off the list. I'll be using Hephaestus as my main character, though depending on how many people we have everyone could choose another god or goddess as well.

Oh yeah, and do the mortals have to resemble the gods EXACTLY or can we make a few tweaks?

Yay, looks like we're getting a nice crowd for this. Unfortunately I just had one other old RP idea that was recently revived as well, so I'm not sure I'm going to have time for this right now. But I'll let you guys know in a day or so if I've got the time to start this up. If not, I'll put it on hold until one of the other RP's I'm in slows down or ends.

And I wasn't planning on having our characters look like the gods, though thats your choice by all means.

And thanks Spectre! Haku is a great character, and there's so much great fan art for him. I'm using his looks for my Caligo RP character, hence all the signatures/avatars.
