I've always liked the names of certain colors. This may turn into a discussion or it could just remain a discourse-to-self, but either way I like sharing.

Cerulean
Malachite
Viridian
Slate
Vermillion
Purple Mountain's Majesty (Laughing)
Indigo
Olivine
Opalescent
Scarlet (my favorite kind of red crayon)

Try as I might, I could find nothing cool or interesting for yellow. I suppose yellow just isn't a cool enough color to warrant a nice name, though I suppose beige sort of counts. I'll add it to the list.

Beige

It looks so lonely T.T

So, what kinds of colors are your favorites? Not just the general, but in specific. I like Cerulean, Malachite, and Vermillion the best, personally Smile

{*scrolling through the smileys, and I found these two which amuse me:
Snack
Mowing
Who would ever need to use them?*}

Cerulean, definitely. Nod
Up until a few years ago I always said "sare-oo-LEEN," but I guess "ser-OO-lee-un."

Crayon colors are great. xD
Remember "Tickle me pink"?

Here's a yellow one.
Goldenrod.

And, these don't come from crayons, but they still have a special place in my heart.
Raw Sienna, Taupe, Burnt Umber, and Periwinkle, in that order.
Anyone know why?
I will climb through your computer screen and glomp you if you do.
Anyone...?

*waits*

Lords of the Realm II. Those were the names of the four counties in the demo, also the first campaign in the game.

Two other colors' names I like: Vermillion, and that one color for blackish... what was it... Sable? Ebony? Ebon? gah, what was it! I guess it must have been Sable, but I have a feeling it was something else. Not Onyx... though that one's cool, too.

Also, Cyan kinda sounds cool.
Ooh, Burgundy. There we go. ^_^

Any more........?

Hey, why do you suppose they call flesh color "Peach"? We always just called it "flesh color" instead. xD
