I had a great birthday! The only day I could get my entire family together was Saturday, so on the 9th we all went to Thai taste and had an amazing meal. I came back and opened my presents, which consisted of an outfit, jacket, mac makeup, cocoa butter, some fashion magazines, and...a flip it video camera!

On my actual birthday, since no one could get together, I just made my rounds. Hung out at home for a while, then went to Santiagos with my grandparents and uncle, then went home, then went to my parents and hung out with them that evening. They took me to the bookstore and I finally, after years of not having it, got Beauty and the Beast, my all time favorite disney cartoon.

(Fun fact: Belle is the first disney princess to take initiative and save herself.)

Then, last night, my friend threw me a really low key, relaxing, costume party! Yesss!

There was yummy food and drinks, we watched Zombies of Mass Destruction and Fido, and just had a great time dressing up. Too bad I don't have any pictures of my awesomesause shoes!

All in all, a great 3 day birthday for me Smile

Thai Taste is THE best thai restaurant in town. It's really small, but we've been going there since it opened, and are on friendly terms with the owner. He always comes out when someone orders an obscure bowl of soup, cause he knows its us and the soup is for the baby. The soup there was taeos first favorite food!

My gifts were great, I forgot to include a Wild Words from Wild Women calendar and gift card to the movie theatre that my friend brought over yesterday Smile

I have such nice friends and family!

The hats were the best! The dress I am wearing is a five dollar dress from goodwill that I will probably never wear again haha. But I just wanted an excuse to wear that gorgeous hat! I want to draw me and Sherri (girl in picture) as witches, overdone like Tim Burton drawings or something, but I am just not that artistic. Perhaps I'll get my artsy friend to have a go at it.
