White Wolf - VtM

Out of curiosity, is anyone else here familiar with White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade? I generally dislike pre-existing worlds, as I think I've broadcast very loudly on all available channels, but I don't mind game-worlds like that. For one, there's no already-written story. (I hate writing over someone else's story! Cannae do fanfics.) For two, I find that a darker setting like the aptly named World of Darkness tends to keep RPs from heading off into Twilight-esque stupidity. I don't have, uh, ANY of the VtM books, so I'm pretty much limited to internet know-how (god bless white wolf's wiki). Then again, I might be the only one wot's ever heard of White Wolf in the first place.

So, anyone else?

I've heard of White Wolf, but I've never done a VtM one.
I have done another based off WoD though.
