Here's an old one. The first character i've ever used with Shade, even.... Brings back memories, and i can't- not bring him along. xD.

[Appearance]:Kaito is a good looking dark haired male, not big, but lean and thin. He was born in Japan, but looks more caucasian than japanese, considering his mother's english heritage. He usually still wears a black suit, or nice designer clothes, collared shirts, the like [slightly metro, if you will]. He enjoys dark colors, and expensive clothes. He is also a casual smoker. Kaito also has slight incisor 'fangs'
[Personality]: Despite his past, Kaito is a level headed individual. He is open to conversation, and is rarely rude. He's very polite, and people often say that 'his tail always wags around the girls'. He is confident,but not loud and boisterous. He understands the ways of the world well. He fights when he needs to, and helps others if he see's a certain benefit to something that's for the greater good of himself, and the people around him. A natural born leader, bu doesn't see himself as a commander of any sorts.
[Temperament]: very mild. almost seems lax and lazy.
[History]:
Kaito is the son of an old Demon yakuza's family leader. His father is a full dog demon. Kaito's mother was something of a mystery to everyone, only a few knowing her racial heritage.
Kaito grew up in fights, being in the Yakuza. He is an expert in hand to hand and melee combat, as well as a very proficient marksman.
The demon yakuza was one of the smallest groups, but one of the most powerful. Including demons, vampires, and werewolves of sorts. There weren't any humans. This group mainly stuck to its own business running gambling rings, and black markets.
Kaito's father was initially a placid individual, but his lust for power had him warring with the demon Triads, Triads, Russian Mob, Italian Mafia, Irish Mafia, American gangsters, Hessian mob, and even other yakuza.... All this violence was spread from Kaito's 15-20 years of age.
Kaito had no like of politics, so he requested to lead a gang of some of the best, and youngest members. This was a sort of mod-squad.
A Fox Demon, another half Dog Demon, two vampires, and a Werewolf. This group were guardians of the Family Heads, as well as assassins, and soldiers. They were given a Mazda Dealership as their black dealing, and business front. Each one of the members were given, or rather -gave each other-, nicknames. Kaito's had been 'Kiba'.. given for various reasons, including his slight fangs, persistence, and ferocity....
At the war's end, Kaito's group was sent to the demon triads' compound mansion to kill Shiro(triad leader), his guards, and his entire family. Incredibly hesitant on taking the mission, they saw no other alternative so they undertook it anyway.
They arrived, only to learn they had been set up, facing the entire household of demon triads. After a quick firefight, they all escaped. They decided to disperse, and go their separate ways for now. Spread out meant they were harder to find. They vowed to gather again, in time.
When Kaito arrived home in a rush to find out who set them up, his father was nowhere to be found. He found his mother dead in the mansion, along with six demon triads, pointing their weapons at him.... It became apparent that someone had set them up. Betrayed, maybe. Not just his mother and he, but his entire squad. The triads were sent to eliminate everyone... He escaped death, jumping out a window, taking a handful of bullet wounds.
Kaito has recently returned after being out of country for 10 months, and is ready to search for his old comrades again. He Has his old office, money, and many ties in the city still.

--Focus- Can focus energies to allow him to cling to surfaces very temporarily- like clinging to walls.
--Iado- Able to draw and slash out with his sword at a blurr's speed. Often unable to be seen.
--Stamina- he has incredible stamina. able to take normally fatal blows. Due to the fact he is part demon...... his wounds heal quickly, as well.
--Strength- Kaito has the strength of a half demon. Easily able to lift a full grown human with one hand. A car with both. Though it would be a bit of a struggle admittedly.
--Speed- His demon blood enables him to run faster than a horse [once he is at a sprinting rate]. This also enables him to jump far distances.
--Jumping- He is able to jump to great heights. Allowing him to scale buildings easily in combination with his focus abilities

5'11", 170lbs, lean but still fairly thin. Dark- Dark brown Hair, Blue Eyes. Often wears dark, or neutral colors. He doesn't much like wearing sunglasses, but often will anyhow. He wears Oakley GASCANs. All black.
His preferences for outerwear is a long mid-calf length Black coat that is snug, yet flexible at the body and arms. It doesn't have any buttons, but has a few belt latches to tighten/loosen the fit at the wrists. The inside from the waist up [though not extending through the sleeves]- is reinforced with a dark maroon color.
Rarely....He will wear a nice black suit jacket.
For upper body, he preferrs nice looking, form fitting collared shirts. Dark violets, blacks, dark reds, navy blues.
It's not very often he wears t-shirts, but if he does, he likes white, black or grey. Nothing too interesting.
lower body is usually black slacks, dark gray and black, or something simple like that.
For footwear he wears nice black dress style shoes. Black high top, thin with squared toe, with a 7 inch zipper. he wears a size 11.
[Real World Appearance]
short, messy dark hair. pale skin. Though he's still physically fit. He usually wears dark pants and a light gray thermal shirt.

[Psych Evaluation]
Ryy at a first glance would appear to be the typical Jumper. The sleek looks, the fancy for nice weaponry, and dark sunglasses to boot. Though after spending a few days with him, it was apparent that Ryy was one in a thousand. He's a very complex individual, though at the same time- very simplistic. He's an outgoing individual, intelligent, and has a good [and wide] sense of humor. He was easy to open up, because he never felt he had anything to hide. It would be hard to always figure out his moods, as he's the type to hide his emotions, and bottle them.
He has a lot of built up stress, and some slight anger issues. Judging by his performance in the Matrix, it would appear he deals with this stress by seeking adrenaline. He's very stable for someone who appears to be an adrenaline junkie- as he 'mostly' holds his composure as if he was a professional. Problem is, i don't know wether to call him an adrenaline junkie, or to just say he gets off on combat and tight situations. It's not unheard of to hear the people around him jokingly call him a 'psycho'.
It's easy to see once he's entered a tight spot- where fighting is the only out- Ryy is quite something to watch. He has a very good grip on using speed enhancments, and uses it to the fullest. He has to... He preferrs to use melee weapons rather than guns. If he wasn't fast, he'd be dead. Closing gaps with speed bursts to swing his katana, or srtike with a knife, or anything else he gets his hands on. If need be, he will use a gun, but he'd much rather be dancing on the floor with his sword, than conducting the orchestra with a gun.
Again, he's sort of a complex person. Being sensitive, he's hard to figure out until you get used to him, spend a little bit of time with him. He's generally content or stoic, and doesn't like to wear his heart on his sleeve. Ryy doesn't like to let other people know what he's feeling because it makes him feel sort of weak, and needy. Though being moody and outwardly stoic is bound for him to be unstable at times- he can get depressed rather easily, and angered quick. Bottling things up until they seem to explode.
He has a very hard time with romantic emotion, and doesn't always like it... Though he's known for getting attached fairly easily. According to him, He tends to like girls who are more outwardly sensitive, yet able to take care of themselves. Someone who could sort of be his opposite when it comes to dealing with emotions, and let him talk about his problems rather than having to physically exhert himself and get into tense situations to let loose. A girl who could 'Kick his ass' is a girl of his dreams. He will often joke about attraction, but knows how to keep friendly relationships in the 'friendly' category. Being a joker, he also likes to harmlessly flirt.
When asked about his chosen name, 'Ryy', he didn't appear willing to discuss it. Just like everything else about asking about his life in the Matrix before he was awakened... He was hesitant....
Another big part of him- is being slightly egotistical. I haven't figured out if its sarcastic, comedic, or sincere yet, but he sometimes likes to comment about himself... He is very confident in his abilities, and he seems to know his limits, even though he is constantly trying to push them.
Ryy is very loyal, and very determined to prove himself worthy to his friends, and people he wants to call friends. He likes attention, though doesn't seek it.
This last session is over- so i'd go ahead and say in a nutshell, he's a generally nice, friendly person. Like a good guard dog personality, hes loyal and protective. Likes to crack jokes, and would give a friend the shirt off his back if needed. He's stable, and strong willed. Confidence comes in abundance with him.

Speed:
Speed augments quickness to unnatural levels. With it, he can either increase his movement rate. It's not unheard of to move so quickly that everyone around him will appear to be frozen in place.
Resiliency
Essentially, the user's unconscious mind has developed enough recognition about the reality of the Matrix to disregard a certain amount of damage. However, as the user grows accustomed to ignoring potentially damaging attacks in the Matrix, they may suffer a greater shock when they are actually damaged.
Magnify Senses
This skill permits the user to enhance his perceptive abilities for a short time while in the Matrix...
-Lowlite vision [can see in total darkness- though at his level, he can't see very well]
-Jacked Senses [increases all 5 senses]
-Rapid Processing [Character is able to quickly process sensed stimuli in the Matrix. Thus, bullets or blows will seem to move more slowly and the character's reaction time will seem enhanced]
Adhesion
This may be used to climb walls without gear, ensure that important things (like handy cell phones) aren't dropped into howling chasms, or just never letting go of that certain someone special.
Long Jump
The user of this can propel themselves up and forward to far greater distances than real physics would allow. Those that become masters at jumping in the Matrix can leap up or across buildings.
[Real World Skills]
engineering and mechanics are something he's always been into. He's a good handyman, and likes to tinker and build things. Wether it be fixing a sink, a refrigerator, a door mechanism, or even common parts of a hovercraft, Ryy knows how to fix it.
He's got a good attention to detail. Between this and being intelligent and analytical, he's good at picking up on the small things. Be it in his friends behaviors, or noticing a missing fork from his silverware drawer.
He's a natural fighter. even in the real world, Ryy knows how to give a punch, kick, or toss.
He's physically strong, so lifting, pulling, or pushing is something you could always ask his help for. minor construction is something he's helped with frequently in Zion.
He's a really good person to go to if you need some advice or someone to listen. He's like a dog.... who.can... talk. He's not always the best with words, but every once in a while he can be very warm hearted.

[ Biography]
Ryy believed to be born in southwest Ohio. Living a fairly comfortable life he always enjoyed staying active and in and out of athletics. He went to school in a City University, and wanted to study criminal justice. Though, before the end of his first year, he was jacked out of the Matrix, and born into the real world at age 19.
He wasn't hugely into computers, but spend an average amout of time online, always using the alias 'Ryy'. Often never really satisfied what his life had to offer, always wanting more. Not being entirely satisfied or entirely convinced that 'this' was the only thing here. He recieved several anonymous messages, that he completely ignored for some time. Before they started getting to him, he almost called the cops. Though after the last message he recieved, his computer running a black box, the message "This isn't all life has to offer." followed by his literal vocal response of 'what are you talking about' in disbelief, the response came up as if it was replying to him. "I'm talking about The Matrix...". The typical 'what is the matrix' conversation came up, and they decided a meeting place from the anonymous user. Unfortunately he didn't make it to the meeting, as he was stopped by an Agent in the middle of the city.
Fleeing in suspicion that there was something severely wrong, Ryy took flight through the crowded city sidewalks. His cell phone rang, so he picked it up while running, expecting to say "Cant talk right now- call you back!" to any one of his friends, family members, or his boss. Though before he was able to shout anything, he heard, "If you don't want to be caught....Turn right at the next street.". Without question, he did so. He followed directions from a mysterious voice for a good five minutes or so. Leading him through alleyways, parking lots, and busy sidewalks. Apparently the system had been taking interest in his discomfort in the Matrix, as much as the Zion Resistance had.
The person over the phone had "Adam"[Ryy] meet him on top of an old 7 story building, to which they climbed down the side of the building and hurried into a black Chrysler 300, where there were two others in the car. They all appeared to be fairly sketchy individuals, looking at him, and not really talking to him, as all his attempts at interrogatives were pretty much ignored or crashed. Adam's intense frustration and curiosity lead him into a large apparently abandoned 10 story brick building. Boarded up windows, and fairly uninhabited- other than the occasional mouse scattering to noises made by rushed, and attempted hushed footsteps climbing several flights of stairs.
After some brief conversation, and some deep discussion and questions asked by the 'captain', Adam Hackett was offered a red or blue pill. Taking the Red Pill, Adam began his new life permanantly as 'Ryy'. He was taken into the ship called the Collossus, and served Zion there for a few years before the crew was mainly killed off by a team of Agents and SWAT during a mission that went took a wrong turn in evacuating a potential RedPill, who was also killed. Upon decomission of the Collossus crew, Ryy was transferred to The Awakening.
He's still trying to get used to the new crew. . .

Likes a variety of colors, and can be often seen wearing something different every time she jacks into the matrix. She likes things simple, though, and not too much leather or latex.
For current reference, she wears a white collarless blouse with no buttons [has a covered zip, & 3/4 sleeves], and nice black leather pants. He adorns her left wrist with a large black wristband, and her right with a tied turquoise ribbon. She wears four silver rings on her left hand: Two on her middle finger, one on her index, and one on her pinky. On her right hand, she has three. One on her thumb, one on her index and one on her pinky. She wears sleek black leather boots that appear to be motorcycle boots with a thin toe, raised heel, and the typical harness at the ankle.
Every once in a blue moon she'll wear black fingerless gloves.

[Psych Evaluation]
Bastet is a creative young mind. She's mischievous, and doesn't always like to do as she's told. Her personality has a warm heart, yet she doesn't like to be very sentimental. While speaking with her, she openly expressed her opinion, and was sarcastic. Though, her sarcasm is her way of humor.
She's very light hearted and free-minded. Intelligence is a big strong point of hers, although sometimes her stubborn-ness can get in the way of intelligent decisions. Flexibility is something that Bastet prides herself on- both physically and psychologically.
With her crew, she likes to sit and look at the code monitors. She is very curious and likes to learn new things. She's able to read very vague and basic code patterns with the 'digital rain', but like any young redpill, doesn't know much. Inside the matrix she doesn't like combat unless she is forced into the situation. It's odd though, because she doesn't feel any remorse for killing within the matrix- sort of a bit of virtual sociopathy, with a lack of remorse, or empathy when it comes to programs, and agents. Not that she's killed an agent by any means, but if something is not connected to sentient/animal life- no matter how real it seems, she views it, and doesn't associate it with real vitality.
She enjoys going through flash skills, uploading all sorts of things ranging from philosophies of martial arts, freerunning, target shooting, weapons knowledge, hack programs, and various vehicle operations. Though, just because she knows how to do a lot of things, doesn't mean her body is always physically capable of doing them.
She's still new to Zion, only being here for around two years. Taking the 'real world' in was very hard for her, as she didn't like to find out that her God didn't seem to be in control any longer. This seems to feed her fight for Zion, as she sees the Machines as a threat to humanity and a mockery of faith.
Bastet also loves cats, which was a partial reason for her to chose her own name, not to mention for her comic flirtatiousness, seeing that Bastet was the Egyptian goddess of cats, protection, and -yes- sexual excess. Though despite this name's "sexual" connotations, Bastet was always faithful in her life, and not very promiscuous. Quite a bit about her personality is reminiscent of a cat, which is maybe why her and Ryy got along during their time on the Colossus.
The loss of her friends and mother figure on the Colossus also still weigh heavily on her. She sulks a lot more than she should, and doesn't like to talk about their deaths, as her and Ryy were two out of the three who survived the Agent incident, while trying to pull their potential redpill.
She higly values life, the lives of her friends, and the lives of the next generations. She also values food, and lots of it. Her high metabolism, and high activity always has her very hungry. Do not let her within 5 feet of your refrigerator, lest you want it raided.
[Matrix Skills]
Alter Residual Image
allows the user to change her physical appearance in the Matrix. If only small changes are made, such as hair color and clothing, it is a relatively easy task. The difficulty increases as more complicated changes are attempted: changing sex, height, body type, race etc

Encryption
A hacker with this skill can "amend" the code of her RSI to make her presence harder to detect while in the Matrix. The degree of encryption controls the efficiency with which one may "cloak" oneself. This ability affects the Machines, other humans plugged into the Matrix, and even human Operators "lurking" and observing events in the Matrix.
Map
allows the character to keep a very precise mental map of the Matrix in her memory for ready use. This may be extremely helpful when attempting to escape or evade Agents and to find necessary areas in the program.

[ Biography]
Ashley, as she was known while within the matrix, was a very lively girl from the middle of Kentucky. She was a typical High School girl, though at home in her free time, it was a guilty pleasure of hers to be a computer hacker. Stumbling across some of the wrong things, made her very curious. Zion started seeking her out.
Once she graduated, Zion started making their move. Sensing thins, so did the machines. After a few awkward meetings, where Ashley actually stormed out a few times, Ashley became compliant to meet with their ship's captain to discuss what everyone had been asking... "What is the Matrix?"
Agents hadn't been on the scene yet, but they crashed the party at their meeting place. Bastet was the last person to be put into the crew of the ship: The Colossus, as their jump/awakening point had been found and destroyed by the Agents.
Angry, scared, and seemingly depressed, Bastet came into the real world with slow strides. It took her a while to get used to things in the real world, but one of the other young podborn members made things a little easier on her. Bast and Ryy had a good chemistry, they were like brother and sister (older brother, little sister). Their conversations started with the Matrix, and that they had "lived" close together, sort of moved on from there. Their hovercraft's first mate, Venus, was also a mother figure to Bast for her first two and a half years of being awoken. That death is something that also weights heavily on Bast's mind quite often...
She, as well as Ryy were offered a position on The Awakening. Ryy took it immediately, though Bast took a half a year's hiatus to get over Venus' death. Not entirely convinced yet, but moving in stride, Bast has accepted her position upon The Awakening, and hopes to begin working alongside them as soon as possible.

During his four years in this 'academy', he was beaten, tortured, gave beatings, tortured people, and learned the art of fighting. The art of Killing. He grew up with pain and bloodshed. They were paired up with a sort of 'battle buddy' on their first day, and called 'Acolytes'. They did everything together. The closest thing they had to best friends, or brothers. Going through thick and thin, and assisting one another during good times and bad.
Upon the last day- they were unexpectedly pitted against their Partners in a fight to the death as a 'graduation'. It was hard for them, and tore at their psyches, and insides. Though, none were allowed to leave alive if they didn't fight. So fight they did, and Eversor remained victorious, and blood-soaked. He was the first to finish, as they were all put in the same room in a sort of 'Circle of Death', with several circles inside the large cave room.
He graduated from an Acolyte to a Marauder. As a marauder, he was given more privileges. Sort of like a 'teenager' would be given slightly more different rights and treatment by law. His teen years were filled with survival of the fittest, hunting large, dangerous beasts for trophies for the warrior society. Running missions and tasks given him by the King and Chief council... He had been shaped to be quite the versatile killer. He was given the title of 'Predator' for a while. He participated in many hunts for fugitives, and sort of became a type of 'assassin', placed in teams. He also generally hunted with the team, taking down enormous, and vicious beasts for food, clothing, and weapons. They lived in the same areas, and trained with the same people.
He and his team became fairly popular... Around this time, there were whispers of a national meeting involving officials from Rai, Aden, and Unita... Whispers turned to Rumor, and rumor turned into fact, fact turned into a mission. So- around this time, Eversor was commissioned with leaders of other warrior groups to destroy this convoy of Aden...
Eversor and three others preformed the high class, shadowed mission for Nod. The mission was a complete success, as everyone was presumed dead. If they hadn't died upon their arrival, they would be dead shortly after their departure. . .
This was highly approved of the Nod, and these four were given special privileges as the personal body guard unit of the King, as well as becoming his personal Black Hands... The Black Hands of Nod itself. Each given special black shrouds... one of the highest honors in the society was this adornment....
From here Eversor continued his life as an Assassin, and always in action somehow, whether it be in training combat, or doing various small tasks...

Due to many years of evolution, Nod Warrior pupils are vertically slitted like a cat's. Eversor's irises are Yellow, and black on the outside. Around his eyes is constantly a sort of war paint. Black around his eyes, and at the corners, he makes them appear to be pointed, the middle corners of his eyes are pointed down, and the outer corners are just pointed outward. They are made to make his eyes appear more frightening, and pronounced.
His smile is a devious one, and his teeth are vicious looking. His front teeth are normal, and his incisors are fairly normal- though slightly pointed. His canines are more like short, sharp fangs. He wears a black-brown comfortable long sleeved shirt, that is worn like a robe, as it has no buttons or ties. The sleeves are long, and cover the hands up to the fingers. Under this is usually a dark gray or black t-shirt.
Over his wrists he wears blackened steel vembraces that almost reach his elbow. They are etched with a similar design that covers his mouth/face. On his left vembrace is tied a thin red piece of cloth that looks like a ribbon.

He wears a white flowing shoulder cape that resembles a shirt, though only covers just below his chest, and has short sleeves that flow, and an upturned collar. His shirt is tucked into a pair of dark navy [near black] pants, which are bloused into calf-length grayed blue-black flexible open-toed light boots, similar to a sandle. The shins of his boots have a covered metal shin-guard strapped around them. Draped around his waist like a rear skirt is folded a dark navy robe underneath a group of two leather belts, dangling a dark crimson skirt in the front. Tied into his belt in the back are two straight bladed, single edged short swords. He has nothing adoring his arms until the wrists. He wears Navy blue cloth gauntlets with a metallic plate on the back of the hand.

Dastan was born to one of the most prominent Sage Clans- the Imatari clan. They are very skilled, noted for their abilities in perception and illusion nearly unmatched in the Sage Clans. As were the ones before him, Dastan was put into the Temple academy at the age of six. He studied the physical arts closely, as the chakra manipulation studies seemed to come naturally to him after some time. He was one of the most intelligent in his class, as was expected of him Though, there were always a couple in each 'class' to have this sort of expectancy. He was quickly rewarded with his skills as a Sage, and made a name for himself. He specialized in physical close combat, as well as reconnaissance. He was used as a guardian, and a shadow. His ability to tap into his chakra network is noteworthy, and has many abilities that supplement his physical actions. The Temple Sages/ Templars were a vague sect, and Dastan was one Sage who had talents enabling him to be used in many situations. He did most of his work on his own country and continent, however it wasn't until recently when the King of Suituria had ordered his departure for the Eastern continent... Emoria.

[his chakra abilities explained below] Despite being a warrior Templar, Dastan has lived a life of training and hard questing tasks. He is just as good in combat as he is in a classroom or a diplomatic negotiation. However, in a normal social situation- he may be a little awkward since his life hasn't known much leisure.

This allows Dastan to create false images, smells, and sensations. He can even create short lasting individual worlds in the person's mind, freezing them both in place in the real world as he may interact with them in their mind. This does not mean he can read their thoughts, however. He is required the time and concentration to do this, as it may take several seconds to begin affecting a certain person- thus, he is unable to do this whilst in mid-combat. Similar to a charm spell.
[*]Electricity manipulation- he is able to draw or create electricity within his body to harness and manipulate. This is very dangerous and can cause much self bodily harm if not careful. May harness this into physical strikes, or extend electricical arcs, or even 'bolts' from his appendages[causing much physical and mental strain].
[*]water manipulation- he is able to manipulate water, and only if it is available to him. He can manipulate it at close distance, at will- 'bending' as some could refer to it.
World-space:
southwestern peninsula in the Misty Gulf of Kuton.
Country- Suituria [swee-turr-ee-ah]
Has two major cities in the country. One on the north-eastern end of the peninsula which happens to be the Capital: Fortona- a mercantile and fishing centered economy. Not unlike a sort of 'Venice, Italy'. It has many splendid bays and canals running through the city. The architechture is much like fifteenth or sixteenth century Venice, and built from the water-up in many places due to the number of rivers and canals. The capital sits on the western shoreline, one of the most populated ports on the continent, due to its vast popularity. The climate is a general temperate climate, however it gets fairly humid due to the proximity to water. The economy is largely mercantile, as well as fishing based. There are many farms, as well, however not enough to bolster the economy on it's own. Wildlife outside the cities is diverse as any other, with many birds and mammals, insects and fish. However moving further east, and into the dense forests, the wildlife becomes savage, and very dangerous. Large predatory animals tend to wander. The mountain range that separates a third of the country is also hard to cross, only having a single way through, and that in itself is a treacherous journey. High cliffs and sharp rocks supplement windy, cold, and wet climates don't ease the travels.
Suituria is generally a militaristic country. Military service being a requisite to citizenship makes it so. They have a very strong Army, and Navy (being located on a shoreline, they haven't forgotten their maritime duties). After each person's term of five years, they are able to extend their time. If they don't extend their time, most end up joining, or at least- being affiliated with one of the major Mercenary groups about. Some even seek the legendary hidden sage village to the east past the mountain range.
The people of this city and the outlying towns and villages have a high human populous. The populous is governed by a patriarchal Monarchy, following the line of a regent. The King then has several advocates and emissaries that work with him as advisers, guards, generals, accountants, and marshals, not excluding his Templar adviser.
Further east you run into a small, yet treacherous mountain range that separates a third of the country from the rest.There's a lot of dangerous game here, and even a fabled family of giant snakes live within the misty valley and wood. It tends to rain often in the valleys and mountains, much like a rain forest. Leaving it foggy and misty about sixty percent of the time. It's mostly just forested area, with a dense fog that comes from the gulf. Nestled within the dense fog, and between mountain ranges, is a surprisingly large, yet obscured village: Kiri-Nokune. The architechture resembles a mix between indian and japanese architechture. Lots of rounded edges and roofs are seen as much as standard angular and spacious styles. Carved in the side of a large cliff and mountain is a large temple of the six paths. At the center of this sprawled village is a bulbous building, appearing to be two bubbles overlapping each other. This is the building for the village leader.
The people of this village however aren't all normal humans. Some people here are different indeed... The people of their country call them sages, and are mostly just fabled according to other countries and continents. The nickname sage comes from the majority's upbringing through the Temple. These Sage Humans are said to be descended from an old priest who appeared long ago during an 'endless war'. He discovered a sort of magical energy within the living- called 'chakra', and tried to use his power and wisdom to lead the world to peace instead of war. He travelled, spreading his ideas and religion, the Ninshou, which eventually came to be the sort of 'magic' that the 'Sage's are able to use.
Now, more about the Sages... They are sometimes referred to as witches, demons, assassins, monks, mist spirits, templars, and ghosts. Think of them as the Jedi, Grey Wardens, or what have you. They are sort of the country's secret order of Templars. Everyone knows about them, however a majority have not seen them. They don't really have a standard 'uniform', and they very rarely wear heavy armors into battle, as it restricts their movements. They typically wear some sort of variation of Temple robe in some manner. Nothing bold, or anything that sticks out, usually neutral colors, drab and matte. Often a blue-gray undertunic and a navy overtunic. Pants tend to match the over or undertunic in some way, and they wear sandal-like shoes. They appear to be boots, though are much more lightweight, missing cover for the toes, and/or heels, depending. They are governed by the 'King', however the head of their village, the Master Sage, is equal in power. The Master Sage, or High Templar works alongside the King, mostly as head adviser. The Master Sage/High Templar takes orders only from the King, considering most of their work is done through the shadows of the regency. Their main goal is peace, however the Sages are often a last resort when peace cannot be negotiated for. Not to say that the sages are all about extreme prejudice, because many are incredibly adept negotiators.
The trained sages often act as a shadowed hand of the King. Taking complicated and often un-reputable jobs. Involving tasks beginning with manual labor, and as far as assassination. They also work hand in hand with the military, being highly trained in combat and diplomacy. Since the Temple's actual numbers aren't very high, but are elite- trained, the Sages are often given control of military battalions, and squads, ranking the sage from captain-commander-general comparatively. Most soldiers and seamen often consider it a blessing, and a great morale boost when accompanied by a Sage.
These sages, while living in a large village, are few in number, seeing that usually only 3 in every 10 actually get accepted by the academies. Reason being that very few people can actually attain and understand the ways of the sage, and chakra manipulation. It seems to mostly be a genetic trait that allows them to understand- or tap into their chakras-, so there are certain families, or clans, that the most prominent come from. They study after the age of six in a temple academy until they are ready to graduate. Some only take a year, where others can be in the academy until the latest age of thirteen. Graduation is in a form of a final examination, different each year, and always ending in a combat tournament.
After going through a trial of rites, they are able to call themselves low/junior sages. This is when the start their lives anew. They begin assisting with the village's economy by completing tasks given to them by the Master Sage, which are often manual labor, and low risk. From there, after another examination given every several months. The Sage is able to test their resolve in a Journeyman Sage ritual, which is different, however usually involving several tests of cunning, intelligence, problem solving, diplomacy, as well as physical combat. This rank of Sage are given more difficult missions, and contracts, and are often used as teachers, and as a 'main force' for the Temple. From here, they are elected by the Master to become High Sages, highly experienced with great individual skill who serve as captains. They are sent on dangerous missions, and it isn't unusual for them to work alone, even when going overseas.
Once given Elite status, they are able to travel alone, and work alongside the Suiturian military. They work very closely with the King and Generals, and much like said generals, appear on the battlefield. It is a fairly rare occurrence, and is seen to be a major morale boost when a Sage is accompanying the military.
However- the biggest thing most will notice is the Sage's age. Most Sages don't often live past their late sixties. This means that many of them are very powerful even before their twenties. This is due to the way that they manipulate their body's energies. It can often contort and put un-necessary strain on their bodies. They reproduce younger, and don't live as long as normal humans. However, it is said that the current High Sage is in his eighties, which is nearly unheard of. Their prime is generally around the age of 20-26, and they can posses surprising maturity and wisdom even at these ages most would perceive to be as very young.

Religion/Deity(s): In the west is Mostly a monotheistic religion involving a great savior they call their God. [the original Sage]. Second, and closer to the east would be a Karma-esque religion. However religion is open to the people of Suituria, having freedom to choose.
Governing Body: Suiturian Regency. Governed by King Thallus, the King has full executive and diplomatic power. He however governs by mostly listening to his people, the populous generally agrees with the King and like him. He keeps them in work, and keeps taxes at an average level. The Regency is a patriarch, so the Queen doesn't hold much- if any diplomatic power. However the King is able to send anyone as his emissary- and often can send his Queen[or other family] if she[they] so wishes, to other countries or parts of his own country to deliver messages, or otherwise manage his kingdom.
The military is generally the main executive branch, however the King does have a separate group under the Suiturian Sheriff: Allan. The Suiturian military is incredibly large, seeing as all citizens are required to serve a minimum term- however many stay in for life. The other part of the executive branch would be the Templar Sages. They often get called in when things get troubled, to solve problems quietly before they escalate.
This way, most people listen to the King and Templars first, then the military and police officials.

The shins of his boots have a covered metal shin-guard strapped around them. Draped around his waist like a rear skirt is folded a dark navy robe underneath a group of two leather belts, dangling a dark crimson skirt in the front. Tied into his belt in the back are two straight bladed, single edged short swords. He has nothing adoring his arms until the wrists. He wears Navy blue cloth gauntlets with a metallic plate on the back of the hand.
Character Bio:
Dastan was born to one of the most prominent Sage Clans- the Imatari clan. They are very skilled, noted for their abilities in perception and illusion nearly unmatched in the Sage Clans. As were the ones before him, Dastan was put into the Temple academy at the age of six. He studied the physical arts closely, as the chakra manipulation studies seemed to come naturally to him after some time. He was one of the most intelligent in his class, as was expected of him Though, there were always a couple in each 'class' to have this sort of expectancy. He was quickly rewarded with his skills as a Sage, and made a name for himself. He specialized in physical close combat, as well as reconnaissance. He was used as a guardian, and a shadow. His ability to tap into his chakra network is noteworthy, and has many abilities that supplement his physical actions. The Temple Sages/ Templars were a vague sect, and Dastan was one Sage who had talents enabling him to be used in many situations. He did most of his work on his own country and continent, however it wasn't until recently when the King of Suituria had ordered his departure for the Eastern continent... Emoria.

Skills: Dastan was bred for Combat. He is built on reflex, agility, and speed, where technique can easily outmatch the greatest physical strength. He prides himself on his swordsmanship, however he is much better hand-to-hand. Despite this, he is also a Sage, enabling him to use life energies to preform Illusion/Charm Techniques, as well as harnessing some Electricity and Water manipulation techniques with his elemental nature. [his chakra abilities explained below] Despite being a warrior Templar, Dastan has lived a life of training and hard questing tasks. He is just as good in combat as he is in a classroom or a diplomatic negotiation. However, in a normal social situation- he may be a little awkward since his life hasn't known much leisure.
[*]-Able to adhere and walk on non-horizontal surfaces [ie:Walls Ceilings], as well as Water. Water walking is easy compared to walking on a ceiling.
[*]-Illusion Magics: He is able to extend his chakra flow through the cerebral nervous system of someone [as long as they are human or mammalian, {having the prosencephalon structure}] to affect the five senses. This allows Dastan to create false images, smells, and sensations. He can even create short lasting individual worlds in the person's mind, freezing them both in place in the real world as he may interact with them in their mind. This does not mean he can read their thoughts, however. He is required the time and concentration to do this, as it may take several seconds to begin affecting a certain person- thus, he is unable to do this whilst in mid-combat. Similar to a charm spell.
[*]Electricity manipulation- he is able to draw or create electricity within his body to harness and manipulate. This is very dangerous and can cause much self bodily harm if not careful. May harness this into physical strikes, or extend electricical arcs, or even 'bolts' from his appendages[causing much physical and mental strain].
[*]water manipulation- he is able to manipulate water, and only if it is available to him. He can manipulate it at close distance, at will- 'bending' as some could refer to it.
World-space:
southwestern peninsula in the Misty Gulf of Kuton.
Country- Suituria [swee-turr-ee-ah]
Has two major cities in the country. One on the north-eastern end of the peninsula which happens to be the Capital: Fortona- a mercantile and fishing centered economy. Not unlike a sort of 'Venice, Italy'. It has many splendid bays and canals running through the city. The architechture is much like fifteenth or sixteenth century Venice, and built from the water-up in many places due to the number of rivers and canals. The capital sits on the western shoreline, one of the most populated ports on the continent, due to its vast popularity. The climate is a general temperate climate, however it gets fairly humid due to the proximity to water. The economy is largely mercantile, as well as fishing based. There are many farms, as well, however not enough to bolster the economy on it's own. Wildlife outside the cities is diverse as any other, with many birds and mammals, insects and fish. However moving further east, and into the dense forests, the wildlife becomes savage, and very dangerous. Large predatory animals tend to wander. The mountain range that separates a third of the country is also hard to cross, only having a single way through, and that in itself is a treacherous journey. High cliffs and sharp rocks supplement windy, cold, and wet climates don't ease the travels.
Suituria is generally a militaristic country. Military service being a requisite to citizenship makes it so. They have a very strong Army, and Navy (being located on a shoreline, they haven't forgotten their maritime duties). After each person's term of five years, they are able to extend their time. If they don't extend their time, most end up joining, or at least- being affiliated with one of the major Mercenary groups about. Some even seek the legendary hidden sage village to the east past the mountain range.
The people of this city and the outlying towns and villages have a high human populous. The populous is governed by a patriarchal Monarchy, following the line of a regent. The King then has several advocates and emissaries that work with him as advisers, guards, generals, accountants, and marshals, not excluding his Templar adviser.
Further east you run into a small, yet treacherous mountain range that separates a third of the country from the rest.There's a lot of dangerous game here, and even a fabled family of giant snakes live within the misty valley and wood. It tends to rain often in the valleys and mountains, much like a rain forest. Leaving it foggy and misty about sixty percent of the time. It's mostly just forested area, with a dense fog that comes from the gulf. Nestled within the dense fog, and between mountain ranges, is a surprisingly large, yet obscured village: Kiri-Nokune. The architechture resembles a mix between indian and japanese architechture. Lots of rounded edges and roofs are seen as much as standard angular and spacious styles. Carved in the side of a large cliff and mountain is a large temple of the six paths. At the center of this sprawled village is a bulbous building, appearing to be two bubbles overlapping each other. This is the building for the village leader.
The people of this village however aren't all normal humans. Some people here are different indeed... The people of their country call them sages, and are mostly just fabled according to other countries and continents. The nickname sage comes from the majority's upbringing through the Temple. These Sage Humans are said to be descended from an old priest who appeared long ago during an 'endless war'. He discovered a sort of magical energy within the living- called 'chakra', and tried to use his power and wisdom to lead the world to peace instead of war. He travelled, spreading his ideas and religion, the Ninshou, which eventually came to be the sort of 'magic' that the 'Sage's are able to use.

- Chakra and Chakra Control...
Chakra is the resulting form of energy when two other forms of energy are mixed together. The two energies are referred to as physical energy; and spiritual energy; Physical energy is collected from the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. Spiritual energy is derived from the mind's consciousness (i.e. the soul) and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience. Having these two energies become more powerful will in-turn make the created chakra more powerful. Therefore, practicing a chakra technique['magic' related] repeatedly will build-up experience, building up one's spiritual energy, and thus allowing more chakra to be created. As a result, the Sage is able to do that same technique with more power. This same cycle applies for physical energy, except this time, instead of doing things like meditation, the Sage could, say, do push-ups.
Chakra takes time and a great deal of training to gradually build up; thus, the key is not actually having chakra, but being able to sufficiently control and conserve it. Everyone has chakra, but only the skilled can correctly mold and manipulate it to its fullest extent.
This chakra manipulation can accomplish great feats. For example, focusing much to the lower body and feet, one can adhere themselves to vertical surfaces, or walk on water [given the training, they need to understand the waves, etc.], and increasing their run and movement speed. They can also manipulate it around the hands, able to assist in cutting locks, trees, flesh and bone. Just as examples- taken to some extremes to prove a point.
There is also Chakra Nature affinities. Basically, Elemental Chakra. Consisting of Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water. In general, every person has chakra that has an affinity towards one of these types, a characteristic that seems to be genetic, since whole clans sometimes share the same affinity. This affinity makes it easier to learn how to create and control the nature in question, although even with an affinity this process will usually take any number of years. Sages are not limited to the nature they have an affinity to, though. By the time they reach the rank of High Sage, most have mastered two natures. However, because of the difficulty of mastering a nature and the time required to learn it, it is basically impossible to master all five natures in a normal way.
These nature techniques enable people for example.. to breathe fire, manipulate and create water, harness lightning balls, raise and split cliffs, and create slicing gusts of wind.
Now, more about the Sages... They are sometimes referred to as witches, demons, assassins, monks, mist spirits, templars, and ghosts. Think of them as the Jedi, Grey Wardens, or what have you. They are sort of the country's secret order of Templars. Everyone knows about them, however a majority have not seen them. They don't really have a standard 'uniform', and they very rarely wear heavy armors into battle, as it restricts their movements. They typically wear some sort of variation of Temple robe in some manner. Nothing bold, or anything that sticks out, usually neutral colors, drab and matte. Often a blue-gray undertunic and a navy overtunic. Pants tend to match the over or undertunic in some way, and they wear sandal-like shoes. They appear to be boots, though are much more lightweight, missing cover for the toes, and/or heels, depending. They are governed by the 'King', however the head of their village, the Master Sage, is equal in power. The Master Sage, or High Templar works alongside the King, mostly as head adviser. The Master Sage/High Templar takes orders only from the King, considering most of their work is done through the shadows of the regency. Their main goal is peace, however the Sages are often a last resort when peace cannot be negotiated for. Not to say that the sages are all about extreme prejudice, because many are incredibly adept negotiators.
The trained sages often act as a shadowed hand of the King. Taking complicated and often un-reputable jobs. Involving tasks beginning with manual labor, and as far as assassination. They also work hand in hand with the military, being highly trained in combat and diplomacy. Since the Temple's actual numbers aren't very high, but are elite- trained, the Sages are often given control of military battalions, and squads, ranking the sage from captain-commander-general comparatively. Most soldiers and seamen often consider it a blessing, and a great morale boost when accompanied by a Sage.
These sages, while living in a large village, are few in number, seeing that usually only 3 in every 10 actually get accepted by the academies. Reason being that very few people can actually attain and understand the ways of the sage, and chakra manipulation. It seems to mostly be a genetic trait that allows them to understand- or tap into their chakras-, so there are certain families, or clans, that the most prominent come from. They study after the age of six in a temple academy until they are ready to graduate. Some only take a year, where others can be in the academy until the latest age of thirteen. Graduation is in a form of a final examination, different each year, and always ending in a combat tournament.
After going through a trial of rites, they are able to call themselves low/junior sages. This is when the start their lives anew. They begin assisting with the village's economy by completing tasks given to them by the Master Sage, which are often manual labor, and low risk. From there, after another examination given every several months. The Sage is able to test their resolve in a Journeyman Sage ritual, which is different, however usually involving several tests of cunning, intelligence, problem solving, diplomacy, as well as physical combat. This rank of Sage are given more difficult missions, and contracts, and are often used as teachers, and as a 'main force' for the Temple. From here, they are elected by the Master to become High Sages, highly experienced with great individual skill who serve as captains. They are sent on dangerous missions, and it isn't unusual for them to work alone, even when going overseas.
Once given Elite status, they are able to travel alone, and work alongside the Suiturian military. They work very closely with the King and Generals, and much like said generals, appear on the battlefield. It is a fairly rare occurrence, and is seen to be a major morale boost when a Sage is accompanying the military.
However- the biggest thing most will notice is the Sage's age. Most Sages don't often live past their late sixties. This means that many of them are very powerful even before their twenties. This is due to the way that they manipulate their body's energies. It can often contort and put un-necessary strain on their bodies. They reproduce younger, and don't live as long as normal humans. However, it is said that the current High Sage is in his eighties, which is nearly unheard of. Their prime is generally around the age of 20-26, and they can posses surprising maturity and wisdom even at these ages most would perceive to be as very young.

Religion/Deity(s): In the west is Mostly a monotheistic religion involving a great savior they call their God. [the original Sage]. Second, and closer to the east would be a Karma-esque religion. However religion is open to the people of Suituria, having freedom to choose.
Governing Body: Suiturian Regency. Governed by King Thallus, the King has full executive and diplomatic power. He however governs by mostly listening to his people, the populous generally agrees with the King and like him. He keeps them in work, and keeps taxes at an average level. The Regency is a patriarch, so the Queen doesn't hold much- if any diplomatic power. However the King is able to send anyone as his emissary- and often can send his Queen[or other family] if she[they] so wishes, to other countries or parts of his own country to deliver messages, or otherwise manage his kingdom.
The military is generally the main executive branch, however the King does have a separate group under the Suiturian Sheriff: Allan. The Suiturian military is incredibly large, seeing as all citizens are required to serve a minimum term- however many stay in for life. The other part of the executive branch would be the Templar Sages. They often get called in when things get troubled, to solve problems quietly before they escalate.
This way, most people listen to the King and Templars first, then the military and police officials.
