Technological Dystopia, anybody?

I'm looking to have a roleplay right up my favourite characters alley. Is anybody interested in a futuristic world? Nothing hundreds of years in the future, but mybe twenty? Fourty?

If not, I'm really just looking for somebody to roleplay with. If you have a different idea, give me a shout! I still want to use Rel, though. He is itching to get out there.

Name: Margot
Age: 19
Gender: female
Appearance: Short, yet thin with smooth curves and long limbs. She has shoulder-length, dark brown wavy hair and dark eyes with smooth skin and a strong yet feminine chin. A small nose and she usually wears heavy makeup around her eyes, leaving her plush, bow shaped lips natural and bare.

Personality: She is a very dark and morose person but keeps herself light hearted and social. I had in mind that she's very laid back and going with the flow, kind of fringe but still obeying the rules out of necessity. When it's more convenient she will engage in illegal activity without a thought of getting caught. Margot doesn't care what anyone thinks of her and just wants to enjoy her life and feel something without someone telling her what/how to feel and how she should behave. She's mellow about control and not really looking to make a statement with her actions. Just trying to get away with living life the way she wants to.

How about "A Desolate Future"? Alright, sure. I usually do plan things at least a little ahead, like at least setting and stuff, but if you just want to wing it, that's fine with me. If later on we want to develop more of the story, I'm full of ideas.

Well why not plan some of the stuff first. I only have 40 minutes or so on here, but we can get details fished out by then. : )

A city in America somewhere, big, with large high and low classes, and small middle class? Perpetually gray, and very clean. Thats what I had in mind.

High. Propaganda everywhere. They use quiet force - no guns in your face or anything. They might hack your computer and phone though. Or turn the electricity off in your house. Something like that. : )

I still want it to be a very capitalist society though - one where what you wear and drive means A LOT.

A new character, I hope you don't mind.

Name: Edward Volenti
Age: 56
Gender: Male
Appearance: Volenti is a tall and wide man, his girth a mixture of hard packed muscle and a large waist/belly, although he's not obese or "fat" in the sense of flab or lack of health. His features are severe upon a round face and head, his eyes piercing and old, full of a lack of a lack of mercy or empathy for his fellow beings and his lips are thin and grim. His head is completely shaved bald and kept clean and smooth so that it practically shines in the light and his chin is covered with a neatly trimmed, "soul-patch/goatee" of black hair. And his face is topped off with a beak of a nose right in the middle, although it's not exaggeratedly big. Usually, he wears nice rich suits that emphasize his bulk with clean-cut lines and sharp angles and a few pieces of jewelry spread out among both hands, like rings and a high-tech gold watch.
Personality: Volenti is a sophisticated man of high-class tastes and exudes a presence of authority and power in whatever room he resides in. He is proud and haughty with a sadistic streak, enjoying the pain and suffering of others almost as much as he enjoys indulging in worldly delights. He is a well-bred business man on the surface but underneath he's little more than a thug and a murderer, sometimes relegating his dirty work to those who work for him, but other times more than willing to engage in the "necessary" atrocities himself.
Bio: Volenti is the president of many businesses and establishments that are a big part of the city with his name on a few buildings here and there. Not only is he a part of the machine of control but since he is in such a position of authority, he is practically immune to the law and the media will touch him with nothing but praise. Among his legal businesses that are all government owned, he also uses what would be considered illegal means to run them. One such project includes a major food production company that uses addictive chemicals in it's products and highly suggestive commercials and ads to get people to continue to buy from it.

Hehe, I'm glad you liked that. ^^ I try not to make a habit of writing long because I like to wait and read your character's reactions, but sometimes I get a bit wordy and taken over by "the Zone".
