Sure, what's not to like. Women in( this is where the wink wink thing goes) imaginative costumes, handing out candy to kids, the all night parties. And in my case a killer race.

False. I was going to go to several. (College.) But some stuff came up between the man and I and we ended up not going out, but it's okay. Though I love Halloween... Slightly disappointing.

( Hey xraineyesx hit the old boy friend upside the head for me, what's he thinking not taking a fine girl like you out on Halloween.)
False, thanksgiving is a rather lonely holiday for me ya know, besides it has already happened up here in the True North, Strong and Free.
Will explain to me why Americans insist on having thanksgiving like a month after Canadians do.

Re: True or False?
True-ish. Americans insist on doing everything differently than Canadians. Actually, I think it has to do with the English pilgrims and the Native Americans and they celebrated in fall how the Native Americans taught them to grow crops and basically saved the Pilgrims from starving to death. Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November, probably because they don't actually know when the first Thanksgiving was held.
(I did punch him actually Monday. I'll punch him again from you. )
Will tell me why Canadians have a maple leaf on their flag.

False. Since I'm not from Canada, the best I could do is an educated guess. And I'm too lazy to try and Google it.
Will be a nice person and answer Raine's question. I must admit I'm curious now too.

Re: True or False?
True, when Canada was part of the British Empire we flew the Union Jack as a matter of course. Shortly after Canadian Confederation in 1867, the need for distinctive Canadian flags emerged. Several Flag designs arose including the Flag of the Governor General of Canada, a Royal Union Flag with a shield in the center bearing the quartered arms of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick surrounded by a wreath of maple leaves. As new provinces joined the Confederation, their arms were added to the shield.
However In 1925, Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King decided a more Canadian design was needed. However the committee he appointed was dissolved before a design and a final report could be delivered. Despite this public support for a truly Canadian flag was still high.
This problem later resurfaced during the Second World War as the need to fly a truly Canadian Flag arose once more. Till this point in history Canada had unofficially adopted the Canadian Red Ensign, It is a British Red Ensign, featuring the Union Flag in the canton, defaced with the shield of the Coat of Arms of Canada. . A joint committee of the Senate and House of Commons was appointed on November 8, 1945, to recommend a national flag to officially adopt. By May 9, 1946, 2,695 designs were submitted and the committee reported back with a recommendation "that the national flag of Canada should be the Canadian red ensign with a maple leaf in autumn golden colours in a bordered background of white". The Legislative Assembly of Quebec, however, had urged the committee to not include any "foreign symbols", including the Royal Union Flag, and Prime Minister Mackenzie King declined to act on the report, leaving the order to fly the Canadian Red Ensign in place.
By the 1960s though the need for a truly Canadian Design was needed. In 1963, the minority Liberal government of Lester B. Pearson gained power, and decided to adopt an official Canadian flag through parliamentary debate. Through much discussion and research and more then the fair share of debate adopted the flag Canada currently has. It was inspired by the flag of The Royal Military College of Canada ( where Army officers are taught and trained.) and created by George F.G. Stanley.
Christ I haven't thought about this stuff since like Grade 6 if I remember right.
Will tell me the origins of the American Flag.

Re: True or False?
True.
(Thanks for explaining.)
The American Flag is as you probably know is red, white and blue with thirteen stripes and fifty stars. There is a star for every state and a stripe for every original colony. The reasoning behind the choices of the stars, stripes, and colors is debated.
Originally the star only had 13 stars in a circle on a blue background, but as more states were added to the Union, additional stars were added until there were 50 arranged on the blue background.
Has a flag that is neither the American or Canadian flag.

True! But I also love Thanksgiving for many other reasons, like a break from school and time to hang out with friends.

Re: True or False?
False, I am not in any sort of educational institute. As such winter break means little to me beside extra work as stupid ass drivers end up in a ditch because they think they can do 120 km/h in snow and crosswinds. Every single person who has done this has earned my undying hatred.
Is not one of the aforementioned stupid ass drivers?

Re: True or False?
True. My driving record is clean (has been for about 4 years now), and I intend on keeping it that way. Therefore, it drives me crazy when I nearly get bulldozed by crazy drivers who cut me off, tailgate, or suddenly brake and turn without signaling.
Has nearly gotten into accidents because of other people's crazy driving?

False, I race cars when not in the garage. Stupid drivers just give me a legal excuse to show off my skills on a public roadway.

False, I own a 71 Charger and it beats the hide off anything Ford makes with exception of the F-series of pickups. Also I have a theory everyone during the sixties were short and skinny midgets if their cars are anything to go by.

Re: True or False?
True-ish, I am not sure if the rules would permit me to post this answer but I suppose an innuendo is good enough. Lets just say the one thing that beats a well tuned is a two person activity behind closed doors and leave it at that.
