Pirates, Fantasy, and Treasure, Oh My!

~ Interesting characters; depth, complexes, intriguing twists/flaws, unique traits, etc...
~ Romance (I really like romance, but it's not my first basis. It's something I like later in a roleplay to create drama within a story-line's main flow)
~ Action: Violence, realism, danger, emotion; etc. I want things to be good. Realism even in fantasy; this means that no character can really be dispassionate or constantly nonchalant. I want something interesting. Action surpasses violence too my dearies. Action means ''edge of your seat'', be it by verbal confrontation or an ironic climax, or bla bla bla. Get the picture?

Pirates flood through the oceans all over the world, leading lives of ruthlessness and treachery. But there are many other things beyond just these. There is a world of wonders and treasure hiding, waiting for all to come and seek it out. Such treasure and wonder is what you will find here...

On the uninhabited island of Corsica, just west of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea. A mountainous isle formed from volcanic eruption, beholding some strange mist near it that keeps many sailors thinking it is an illusion or mirage glittering on the horizon. But there, should anyone stumble upon this place, is filled with fantasy. The most numerous species of speaking and intelligent individuals here are... did you guess it? Mermaids.

The story line will basically be about pirates who crash onto Corsica's bay during a wretched storm. From there, they meet the elder of the mermaids, who appears to only be in her mid-twenties; a woman with a jeweled amulet that lets her bear two legs on land.

From there, I have a plot. Only if you are interested.

Considering I'm the best damn pirate on FOG, and we never finished our last one on one, I'm interested. Let me know if you had someone else in mind. My feelings won't be hurt... I'm a pirate... we don't have feelings! lol!
