Another World, Another Home [OOC]

This is the OOC discussion thread for Another World, Another Home between Cthulhu and RedPen for when we need to discuss the roleplay and plots or for any questions . Have fun!

Yay! So this world she lands in - I suppose it's just a medieval-ish world with magic?

Yea, that's what I imagined it to be. I haven't really thought much about it but we can change/adapt it if/when we want or if we come up with any ideas.

Sweetheart, love the rp, but I'm calling it a day. I'll be back Monday or so, I'm hanging with friends tomorrow.

Not sure what I'll have Kaoru do now... In all there are three possibilities.

1 - Kaoru comes back to her and all is set right again,
2 - Katie gets mugged and the book stolen with her possibly injured,
3 - Katie gets taken by a slave trader,
4 - Mark turns out to be some really evil guy or something. But that's not really a possibility as much as a cliche and possibly something you hadn't even considered to be part of Mark's char as he seems to be all awesome and good so far.

1 - seems to just be the slightly boring option to go with if you get what I mean in terms of the storyline. Maybe we have to have something happen in between.
2 - seems like a good option especially if the book is taken
3 - I really like this option as that could seem like a good reason to have Kaoru come back to find Katie gone, in his anger still decides to just leave her and maybe in the morning hears about how they've caught a human girl for the slave trading and she'll go high in the bidding for it.
4 - Mark is just too awesome to be evil :3

Since he's days away from the castle I think he'd try and get in to the slave quarters to get her using a fake collar or something. It's not like he can just hopscotch home without his one true love, and get the money to buy her.

For some reason, I like option two. If she gets wounded, Kaoru can fix her up and sort of blame himself enough to try and work out a plan.

So it's your char, final say is with you. Have the poor girl mugged and possibly injured or taken as a slave?

Hmm I do like both options. We could always have one option done now and then one later on, to add to things later on rather than have them all at the beginning. We'll go for number two then

Have Katie mugged and injured and her things taken. Plus if they see her or she needs other help that could start the gossip about a human being among them which could have the slave traders on the look out knowing that she'd go for a lot as a later plot line or something. But we can come to that later if we need it

Only worry though, now that Kaoru's got his collar off he could use his magic to send her home... For now it could be covered with "He used so much energy healing her that he can't send her home".

Okay then, have a good night.

Though he can send her back with his magic he could lie slightly as well as using that one at first, just say that he doesn't know how to send people to earth. Reason for lying because maybe he wants her to be his true love and hopes the longer she stays there then the more it will work out so that she wants to stay or something.

Umm... Sorry, but he doesn't want her to be the one true one. They only just met, he's only just starting to like her, and he's not going to go for her simply because she's engaged.

So, time skip? I think he'd make some arrangements while she slept so that when she wakes up she's in a carriage or something and moving to the castle with him?

Sure that sounds good. She'll be so tired that she wouldn't even wake up with him moving her either.
