Carl Reeves

The young, talented, famous, and handsome instant-billionaire received his wealth and private enterprise whenever an uncle he never knew of had passed away. According to the will, he was to receive every asset in his uncle's possession at the time of death. When this unfortunate fate reared its ugly head, Carl been thrown from the average life of an American citizen of the future, into the luxurious life of playboy billionaires and entrepreneurial masterminds....and con artists.

With an entire privatized media corporation at his fingertips, Carl has the keys to the city...make that every city. But his position of wealth and power make him a major target for thugs that are itching to get their greedy hands on his money...and his life.

But who is Carl? By this question, we must ask, who was the inspiration for this character? Is he modeled after a close relative of mine? Is he like the futuristic Bruce Wayne. always generous and smart? Is he like a good Ale Gore? Or is he a remnant of a past...? Even I ask myself these questions. Why have I created Carl Reeves? Who is he?

Lucius

Lucius...a fallen angel...doomed to walk the earth for an eternity as if he was a spirit of the past. His eyes were scarred with the image of the One as he fell from the eternal skies...a long time ago. Whenever he blinks, he can sometimes see Him. He sheds tears often, regretting his allegiance to Lucifer. Yet, even so, he continues on making a mockery of his regrets and his prayers. He continues to aggravate man...push him to the limits.

He never understood why they were so strong-willed. He knew that God created them in "His image"...but did He have to give them His personality as well? Kill one of them, and ten retaliate. Kill ten, and an entire nation erupts in anger. Lucius often wonders what the point in anger is. If God was so high and mighty...why did He allow them to rebel? Lucifer would never have allowed that. Lucifer would have destroyed them on the spot had he seen how far man had strayed from the laws. In fact, Lucifer seemed to be the more logical of the two beings...so Lucius thought.

One night in a bar, Lucius used the body of another human to enjoy a good drink and let the time slither on by. He had a few rounds up unto the point where the man's weak body began resisting the alcohol. He definitely needed to work out more, Lucius thought. Right when Lucius was about to abandon his host, he saw a man enter, and stopped to stare at him. The man was different than the other humans. Lucius felt a pulsating aura about him that intrigued him of his origins. He wasn't human...but he was angelic either. The aura was too warm to be demon, and had a pleasurable scent that hung in the air - only knowledgeable by the supernatural.

Lucius proceeded to confront the stranger and extended his hand in greeting... a new entity to the world deserves a proper welcoming...

...and a proper invitation.
