There you go Gunneh, finally got the post up. Ended up much longer than I had thought it would. 'Tis why it took me so long; and yes I know it is cheesy as hell everyone...

Phew, I was afraid it was just me. Colorado is busy dumping almost two feet on us still; when I lost satellite and everything else, I figured -I- was the broken one.
Kana.... I want cake now. Gimme gimme.

Re: In the Gadda-Da-Vida
Huh? I'll be working on a post of my own in a moment or two but I don't think it will effect anyone else... unless they come over to where Izzy is at (like Alex did).
Here is a bit of lyrics though, I just wrote them up a bit ago. Wasn't really sure if I'd put them up for a possible band piece but Gunneh says he likes it so... I guess I will. Here it is:

Crucified by the Hand of Man
Torn apart
Viewing the world through blackened eyes
Devoid of art
Silence frozen in the dark
Words of poets hanging from dead limbs
Crucified at the hand of man
Jealous of their beautiful scars
Lost within an ugly ideal of perfection
Crawling on hands and knees
Through streets paved of gold
Dignity lost in filth left behind
For the ones undeserving of prosperity
Yet like the phoenix they rose
Too close to the sun
Like Icarus they fell
Crucified by the hand of man
Shedding tears of common blood
Substitute for long dried ink
Filling pages with the pains of hell
Translated into a darkly beautiful tongue
Angels whisper in starless skies
Mourning the cold death of life
May the heavens rise again
Breathe the kiss of sorrow
Into the poet’s embrace
Torn apart
Viewing the world through blackened eyes
Devoid of art
Silence frozen in the dark
Words of poets hanging from dead limbs
Crucified at the hand of man
Jealous of their beautiful scars
Lost within an ugly ideal of perfection
Crawling on hands and knees

Re: In the Gadda-Da-Vida
Okay, totally been watching this. XD And it looks awesome, I feel like a douche for not having internet when you created this shindig.
SO I'm going to ask if there are any open spots for photographers, personal designers, audio managers, groupies, friends, or other bands (teehee, I won't bring Jackie Danger back, I promise LOL).
SO? Any love left for Eternity?
*makes cute puppy dog eyes*

Re: In the Gadda-Da-Vida
Birth/Legal Name:
Fuji Lo Chinatsu
Alias:
Mistrix / "Trix"
Age:
Twenty-two (22)
Role:
Sound Manager/Audio Advisor
Favorite Bands:
Thousand Foot Krutch, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Ra, Taproot, Sevendust, Skindred, Linkin Park, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, etc.(the list really does go on!)
Bio:
Fuji was born and raised in Chinatown. Okay, let's not lie. She was born there, but she was raised on MTV. Music was her life; and she- unlike her numerous siblings- quickly caught on to the American lifestyle. At the age of seven, she got the invitation to move out of Chinatown and head to California, to live with her eldest brother Ryuso. Ryu was, of course, a musician, so she did not even think twice about declining.
The road trip was a fun one. And at seven years old, she was a bit more mature than most spoiled little American brats. So, she earned herself her first bottle of beer. And then her second and third. The good ole' days, right? Right. She loved the lifestyle, ending up in San Jose with Ryu and his closest friends. At first, she watched them form a band called Counting Corpses, but that quickly fell apart as they had no sound system and altogether it sounded much like dissonance. So, when it fell apart, Fuji who was now eleven, began to learn how to run a sound board. Her brother's friend Jackson taught her about music- but not playing it. Hearing it.
She was settled with this, and decided it was her destiny. She wanted to spend her life listening. So Fuji took this sound board, and went back to her brother, and showed him what she had learned. It was then, at her age of fifteen, that Ryu was convinced to put another band together. And this one didn't crumble.
The band was called Dread Locked, and it soon became a magically extravagant thing in San Jose. Soon enough, they were running around doing gigs, going out of town to play at cafes and clubs. Their nearing metal sound was appealing to the crowd of strange men and women, wearing fitted clothes and hoses, with their hair done in all kinds of off-the-wall fashions. But fame is not eternal. Not to everyone.
Ryu began to date a girl named Secile (sess-ah-lee), and she was much like Fuji. And by this, that meant she could run a sound system, and do a sound check in a flat five seconds and have the band ready to go. When Ryu realized that she far out-skilled his little sister, Secile took over Fuji's position in Dread Locked. Fuji, angry at her brother, decided she could take her skills elsewhere. Thus, she began to move away, to a place where she could find her own damned happiness.
She wandered around for a good amount of years. In her spare time, she became a tattoo artist at a place called "The Koi Kraft", where she as well gave piercings and swept floors when bored. She now resides in Atlanta, where she hopes to find a good band to work for. A second chance is what Fuji really seeks. Oh, and any woman, man, or tranny that thinks they can break down and hear the music better than her... Well, let's just say that they won't be on the map when Fuji gets through with them.

Re: In the Gadda-Da-Vida
I’m still slightly confused… oh well.
Gunneh… do you think Alex has the vocals for that lyrical piece? I never thought of that and the way I wrote it… well… he might not. Unsure, really.
Oh, this is great… our sound manager is influenced mostly by bands the main songwriter doesn’t like. More mainstream, MTV sound verses more technical/melodic and neo-classical/progressive drive… that should lead into a lot of arguments over how something should sound… should be lovely.
Do we even have any recording equipment with us right now though? I mean… with all the other stuff jammed into the bus along with the people… the sound quality would be horrible because anywhere they find to record would have terrible acoustic and the equipment couldn’t be in that good of condition. Unless we just find random places and pay to record the shit in their studio ourselves (would take a lot of money)…
