The last few days and particularly yesterday and today, I've been getting back in contact with my cousins, buddies from various places and so forth, and sort of committing to reunions and catching up. It's like I've hit thirty and this is my coping mechanism.

Gettin' ready for a fun, long weekend. Billards at the Q-Club in Redmond, then a movie. Some drinks with friends, some shopping and general social activities. Then the weekend hits, and my roomy and I are going to get new furniture, and a new laptop is on the list for me. Woot!

Planning on doing spaghetti and meatballs tomorrow; I'm gonna get the pork and the beef and all the other stuff and throw it together from scratch tomorrow after I do the shopping.

I haven't done meatballs in a while, and I'm just absolutely craving the heck out of them.

I'm reading a book called Phantom by Susan Kay. It's another take on The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. This one begins from Erik's mother's point of view from when she first birthed him, and at the point at which I have arrived, he is five years old. It's so sad. ._.
