Inerio wrote:I'm not sure if I'm a constant talker. No, not really, I let other people share. I tend to tell a few jokes, completely space out, and then pop back in with a non sequiter(yep, probably spelled that wrong) or keep waiting till I can think up something intelligent to say.
Constant talkers are the ones who drone on and on, never realizing that the girl they are hitting on is trying to escape and the party they crashed into didn't invite them. They're just the kind that utterly piss me off, because I am more methodical about conversation -- I try to think before I speak, so I'm at a disadvantage.
And the thing is, they aren't as smooth as they think they are. Usually, it's a guy trying to a) get with a girl and b) cockblock everyone else. So they just keep up a running drone. The poor girl often has a long-suffering expression on her face and the other guys are like, 'ah fuck' unless they're the laid back sort that just rolls with it and philosophically figure to let it go.
If I'm driving and I've got one, I usually turn up the music and start singing along. But usually, I just avoid gatherings between 3-10 people in order to avoid these types of people period.
True story, I had a floormate follow me to a private party when I was picked up at another party by by this basketball player from CONDOM (College of Notre Dame of Maryland) along with her friend and brought back to their apartment where the booze was served up and there were some other people, all hanging and chilling. Dude, named Mike, saw me departing with the two women and figured "hey!" So he followed me, found out where we went, and then grabbed a) his guitar b) his brother and c) two other idiot friends of his brother and all showed up at this little party uninvited.
Guess what buzzkilled everything for everyone there? And it was...well, I felt kinda embarrassed because they followed me in. But it wasn't really my fault. I didn't invite them.
It was a masterwork among annoying attempted cockblocks -- first degree, premeditated.
Anyway, yeah. I'm not socially awkward, and it took me a bit of time to realize that constant talkers could make you feel boring, but if someone drones and can't turn over the conversation, I just drift away. Unless I'm trapped, then I decide to do what a cornered rat would do -- fight dirty.

I sense resentment!
I know people like that. Usually, being the clown that I am, start speaking VERY LOUDLY LIKE THIS OVER THEM TELLING A STORY OF NO REAL IMPORTANCE!!!! SO YEAH ONE TIME I WENT TO THE MALL AND I WAS LIKE, OH MY GOD IS THAT SARA!? AND IT WAS AND I WAS LIKE OH MY GOD!!!
That, or I just scream wordlessly until they stop, and quickly change to a subject they probably don't know about. Rude? Yeah, probably. But, they were being rude too so it's not a crime. An eye for an eye just leaves us all with bad depth perception.

OMG! YOU MUST BE A JEDI!
I've used the 'fight fire with fire' philosophy of rudeness. It works wonders, unless you get punched out because the rude guy doesn't believe in equal rudeness rights.

No, I'm just hung over. It's essentially the same thing.
Not really.

Yeah, somewhere between the taiko drumming behind your eyes and the urgent need to upchuck, there is the elusive advantage of enhanced perception, right?

Oh yeah. Like super amazing hearing and the adversity to sunlight. No, it isn't vampirism. It's just a higher state of being.
I found it hilarious that you linked to taiko. I know what that is though. XD I was once a japanophile.
SO! WE NEED TO MAKE SOME SORT OF FOG CON QUESTIONNAIRE
Uh. . . . .
Most likely to loose their pants at some random interval of the night:
These two will be inseparable during the whole damn time:
Most likely hookup that isn't due to a preexisting relationship:
Most likely to be crowned KING OF THE CON:
Most likely to be crowned QUEEN OF THE CON:
Most likely to get lost going to the CON:
Psh, I dunno. I'm bored and my head hurts. Yet, I can't stay away from this monitor.

Re: FOG-CON
I'm pretty sure I will be crowned King of FOG CON... No.... No I won't... But you could imagine how that would have been like right?
King: not sure
Queen: It's a toss up between Fate and Eternity
Most likely to loose their pants: Danger or Inerio
the others I can't even pick.

Re: FOG-CON
XD Why am I going to loose my pants!?
Actually, you're probably right.
Did anyone notice Danger and I are being roped together in a lot of things? Spiking the punch, loosing pants, punching orphans. Maybe we'd have wonder twin powers that would just aid us in wrong doing.

Wow Sigh, that's pretty bad. XD That's like drowning in a puddle bad.
Danger, I think it's because we would try to trade pants. . . . Yeah, that must be it. ::nods::

Wait...drowning in a puddle is a bad thing?! Oh noes! I fail at life.
Re: FOG-CON
Actually it would be a competition of lostness. I am horrible with directions as well. I am sure I would knowingly turn down the wrong street. Yeah it would totally be a competition.
