Jurassic Park style RP

Ok so I have ran this RP on another site and it was fun but some writers disappeared to quickly and well I was lurking around here thinking maybe I should give it another shot. I really just want to get to the point where the Dinosaurs get louse and rampage. If we make it that far I would consider this RP a success. Well I have the whole thing planned out in more detail but below is the basic stuff just to see if anyone is interested. If you have any questions or are interested please PM or post.

Basic Information:

Ok this RP is going to run along the sameish story line as the Movie Jurassic Park. With the exception it will be our characters running around instead of cannon characters. So like in the movie 40% of the characters that are in this RP will die (4 of the main 10 characters die in the move that’s where I get 40%). If more than 40% kick the bucket that’s just fine. That doesn’t mean you can’t have more than one character. Anyway the Board of Directors is putting pressure on the Owner of the Park to prove that the island is truly safe and an accurate portrayal of what Dinosaurs would act and look like. They want professionals as well as tourists flocking to the park. The Park is scheduled to open in the next year so all the personal would be there preparing the park for its grand opening, as well as a few construction crews.

(really I am open to anything if you think you want to try and make a position I say go for it. I personally don’t care if you play a maintenance guy or security guard. Their standard gear for a security guard is a tazer and a baton.)

Here are just some suggestions for the first Visitors if you can make a specialty fit than go for it because I am open to suggestions.

I'd play as the journalist if that's all right. I can work him/her in as a person writing about the park for an article in a nation-wide magazine. They heard about the park and were interested and now they wish to do a cover story.
