Hello all. I was invited to this little corner of the internet by FateForetold of RPGfourmsonline. I have been lurking about for a while and decided now would be as good a time as any to introduce myself. Still looking around and getting used to the way you guys do things here. I suspect that since my RP is falling by the way side on RPGFO I might try running it here. Anyway I usually try to not mix my real life in with my internet life so actually writing down stuff about myself is something I haven't done to often.

I work as a Draftsperson at a corporation call BradfordWhite Corporation. Basically the job description is that I draw all the machine parts that go on the water heaters that are produced. In reality I am noting more than an Office B. during 3/4 of the year. I get to print out the manuals, fold the manuals, print the labels we need, do the paperwork that requires stapling labels to an envelope and all the undesired jobs in the office. It's not all bad because sometimes I actually get to draft (which is what I have an associates degree in) if I am lucky anyway. It's also nice because they work around my college schedule so that is another reason I like my job. Plus the people I work with are cool and entertaining to talk to (even if it's frowned upon by the higher ups). I am good at my job and even though I have yet to have a comparable pay raise since working there for 3 years I still like it. Yes I am underpaid but there isn't much I can do about it at this point with the economy the way it is. That actually brings up another thing I should mention: Where I live.

I live in Sparta, MI and go to college at Aquinas in Grand Rapids. I am studying to become a history major and hopefully one day become a college professor. This is a complete change from my first years in college so I am kinda starting over but not really. Since this is my first year at Aquinas I only know one person on campus (who transferred out of Grand Rapids Community College [where I used to go to college]). So I get a lot of free time on campus not really talking to anyone. Otherwise I am pretty busy with work, school work and my friends. I also like watching the Red Wings play Hockey and occasionally will watch the Tigers play baseball. Since sport seasons are so long I only have time for two sports to attempt to keep up on (one per part of the year). I also enjoy watching well written drama or comedies on TV. I love watching movies with the exception of Horror/thriller films. Mostly stick to action, ScFi, or Comedy with films. I also like Comic Book movies. I do read but not really as often as I should. I usually stick with ScFi when reading. I also play video games occasionally.

RPing is something that I think we all have in common here so I suppose I should let you know what I stick with. Mostly Action/ScFi types of RPs (getting a theme yet?). Sometimes will venture into a Fantasy style RP. So anyway I am off to work right now so I will see you all around this place.

Oh and yes that is totally the theme I was talking about. Thanks for all your welcoming words (and random dropkicks). I think I am going to like this place.
