Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I made a Happy Birthday thread for her and everything!
I celebrate the awesomeness that is Sylar. Now that I'm on the last episode of the first disc of the third season, he's my favorite. It was Hiro Nakamura, but Sylar just won. ^^_^^

There are now 11001 (and maybe plus by now) posts in this general forum. If that's not something to celebrate, I don't know what is!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
It really is.
He's upset though because he still has to wear diapers.
He would rather walk around naked now that he can potty in his little potty.
It cracks me up.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I remember when my little sister, Chloe, was like... one or two, she would pull off her diapers and tinkle right where she stood. It was gross, but little kids do odd things. I'm assuming is was the chillier air that caused it.

CJ will be 2 on November 7th.
He takes off his diaper all the time, but we tell him he has to leave it on until he's good at going potty and he just stares at us, smiles and says "Okay Momma!"

That's really good of him to follow the rules so easily. Some children are just... hellish... like my little brothers. However, I learned that they don't follow rules because whenever my mom would try to make them mind, my step-father would undermine her, so she just gave up. It's sad. =\
I celebrate Heroes! I know I've celebrated this already, but it's sooo good!

@ Kathyrn :: Thats how my mom became when she married my step dad. I'm just glad I was out of the house quickly. Now my little brother has to deal with it.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Well, he was never much of a father to my older brother or to myself. Thankfully, we'd been raised to know what's right and wrong before he came into our lives. Well... my brother was old enough, and he kept me from a huge downward spiral at least. My little brothers are preteens now, and they both have mental issues, and my step-dad uses that as an excuse not to really be a father. He's all they have now, but he's very neglectful to them. Their house is always trashed, and they eat terrible foods. It's disgusting. I'm glad that I was able to get away from that environment when I was sixteen when I was allowed to live with my grandmother, so I wouldn't have to move to Pennsylvania with them where I would have been trapped in a life I would have loathed until my mother died.
I celebrate escaping a terrible few years.

I'm celebrating the weekend ahead! Tonight, my roomy and I are going to be meeting Alton Brown. Then I get to pick my kitty up from the vet, she's been there all week. (Poor thing!) Saturday is going to be filled with photography and pumpkin fields, and Sunday will probably be spent being mellow, and headin' home to get ready for classes the next day. Going to be crazy busy next week, I can already tell!

I celebrate the fact that my doctor said everything is fine. I don't even have bad cholesterol, which I was worried about because of my diet...
My heart murmur is fine and some cartorid arteiry thing he wanted checked turned out fine. The only thing he said is that I need more exercise...

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
It only took five days for my new replacement player to ship from China and get here, despite expecting it to take two weeks. And the delivery was actually two days earlier than the expected date once it shipped.
That's pretty good time. I don't have to listen to radio advertising 1/3rd of the time that I'm listening to music, and for that I'm glad. I'd go nuts.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I celebrate my hair turning out like I wanted it.
:3
I dyed it red.
Though its like that dark red you see on people who used to be brunettes.
Anyway, I still love it.
I plan on taking pictures...eventually.

Kathryn: We must have pictures of you in your costume. Think I'm going to get dressed up for handing out candies to the kiddies that come knocking. Possibly pirate (unless I can hash together fairy)
Anaris: I love red hair! I'm always dying mine auburn. It even stained it permanently so now I have a red-shimmer. Glad you like it and look forward to photos.
Silv: Glad your healthy and ok.
Sorry I'm not here very often lately guys Keep getting side-tracked by baking, work, life, NaNo, planning, writing. Its a good thing - trust me
Also celebrating reading my 5th novel this month. Read list thus far:
Color of Magic: Pratchett
Witches Abroad: Pratchett
Feet of Clay: Pratchett
Kingdom for Sale, Sold: Brooks
Black Unicorn: Brooks (currently on 3rd chapter)
*HURRY UP NOVEMBER!*

o_o What
I am jealous! Although, I've heard some second-source interviews where Alton Brown sounds a little...uhm. Well, he's comfortable cursing, to say the least. Some might say he's a crude jerk. But I certainly hope your experience will/has been enjoyable. I love his shows and his tv alter ego!
I'm celebrating, uhhhmmmm... that this class I'm sitting in is ultra easy.
