Yeah, Hammerfall are indeed power metal, which is more or less a cross between traditional heavy metal and speed metal. If you like both Blind Guardian and Iced Earth you should look into Demons & Wizards, if you haven't already. Its Jon Schaffer (guitarist from Iced Earth) and Hansi Kursch (Vocalist from Blind Guardian).

Demons and Wizards are pretty epic, I'm listening to one of their songs right now, it's pretty deep and emotional. I find the lyrics very meaningful and they put me in that mood, which just makes me question some things in life.
