Re: What are you listening to?
Uhm, no, that is not the same thing. As a friend of mine said: ” No star trek fan will pray to Kirk or Picard, yet anyone religious is committed to the bit.”
Sure, they are both a story and you still interpret them, but there is a huge difference between the interpretation of a religion, which is deep and person to someone (where ever it may have originated) and they actually believe that it is exists, than simply interpreting the meanings behind a story that you love. Your example points more, if anything, toward the fallacy of so deeply following a religion, because whether you admit it or not it was just as you said it was, a religion that someone created on a bet. It was a religion that he created and that religion happened to appeal to some people for whatever reason and they decided to follow it deeply. It is not the same thing as interpreting a novel and resonating with the ideas and meanings behind it.
That, however, is the last I’m going to say on the subject.

Abandoned – Kamelot (Live in Belgrade)
It is fucking awesome when Khan sings the first line in the chorus and then stops and you hear the crowd singing it like a distant, ghostly chant.

I don't know the exact name of the song, but I think it'd be somewhere along the lines of 'Come on, Come on' by Little Birdy.

It's soooo good. I love her music so much.
The woman who plays Inara in Firefly also sort of looks like Inerio in a way sometimes...

Re: What are you listening to?
Um... So... the link is in my last post now. I feel like a dip-shit...
I'm not listening to anything, but I'm trying to load "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha because Misery sent me the link to it last night, but I didn't have time to load it.

Annoying, never-ending Christmas music, at home and at work. Otherwise, I've been listening to Dr. Seuss' Fox in Socks cd in the car.

Re: What are you listening to?
Fox in Socks was the first book I ever learned how to read.
I'm listening to Susan Boyle's amazingly beautiful voice singing a song from "Les Miserables." It's on the television in the other room, but holy crap. I can't help but to listen. She's sooo amazing.

Constant Christmas music has been starting to really get to me… so I’m taking a reprieve listening to some Celtic Folk Metal.
