~Razed and Broken ~ OOC (Needs people)

'The cities are broken and crumbled to the ground. Homes are destroyed and few live. Do I count myself lucky to be among the living? Or shall I wish to die and fade away like the rest? Disappear and let the pain wash away...'
It is the year 2491 and life on Earth has changed for the worse. Humans who once owned the world and over populated the land now stand at a hand full of ten people. Disease, infertility, war, and global warming are all added factors to this. The animals that once offered food or comfort are now either dead or once again wild. Cows have died with no human interaction. Dogs have become pack animals like wolves or died, unable to survive the harsh world.
Buildings have begun to crumble or lay in ruins. Few have survived the harsh weather and there are no more electronics. No radios, ipods, phones, cars, or freezers. It is primitive all over again. And like ancient times, the survivors try to grow crops and hunt. Their residence are buildings that still stand. The ten humans are divided. Five reside in each group to from 'gangs;. For now, they fight for supplies and try to feed each other.
In this role-play, you play as one, or two of the ten that have survived. There will be five men and five women to be played. Each group needs an 'alpha' who helps hunt, find food, makes decisions, and controls the groups. Everyone does have a say however. They would have to cooperate to get things done, but agreeing doesn't always come easy.
We play out the drama between the gangs and within the groups themselves. The age range is between 18-32. No exceptions unless someone decides to have a baby. The alpha isn't chosen beforehand. You will be picked by the groups once things are settled and you might even end up fighting against another who wishes to be an alpha. The groups aren't already together also. A few people can be alone until gathered up by the groups. I will put up the character sheet shortly.
