Teen Titans Everlasting {OOC}

"We've not been forgotten. We shall never be altered, nor destroyed so long as crime exists in our city. We are the Teen Titans. We are the heroes, and as heroes, we will be everlasting."

The Plot
The Teen Titans had never been just as notorious as they are now. The events that took place in Tokyo set the tone for a world-wide increase in popularity of both the Teen Titans, and the creation of many new Titans Towers in several countries.

With all the new up-and-coming super powered teens springing up all over the globe, it'll be more than a task to show them the way to becoming the best they can be, and protect their sectors with their lives. Both the Teen Titans, Jump City division and the Titans East have recently returned from their escapades in training all those new titans to find a hometown in ruin as they find Slade has come back to the crime-based world and with brand new, more powerful minions to do his bidding.

With these mysterious creatures running amok and keeping each and every Titan occupied while Slade can run about town freely and steals just what he wants. What is it that he's doing with these odd but valuable treasures, the Titans must wonder, and why can peace never last for more than a few days?

Will Robin ever grasp his sole obsession of putting Slade to a stop, or will the Titans die out before the battle even has the chance to begin? Take on the role of a Titan, or a villain of sinister intent, and mold those answers to your hearts content, or discontent, if you'd rather. Titans, together.

Setting
While Everlasting is, for the most part, based in Jump City, we may sway it towards Steel City, or even to a different country if it moves the story along. In its entirety, Jump City is...well, what one could expect from any DC city. Dark and populated, danger prone to say the least.

There are all kinds of places in Jump, which include a pizzeria, many harbors for shipping and even solely created for entertainment purposes, a fairground, a downtown district where people shop and work during the day, a generally rough side of town where a crime can be found in most every other alley, the Jump City Bay which the Teen Titans live on, the Titans' home...or "T", and the warehouse district in which many villains make the mistake of grouping together, only fated to be stopped by the Teen Titans.

What with the ridiculous increase in crime, it can't be hard for one to find some misdeed going on somewhere in the city, and that's where the Titans come in to put an end to it. Of course, all this crime and adultery cannot be stopped in a single night, nor many, many nights of nonstop work, because no matter what, there will always be evil to balance out the good.

As for the season, it'll be early winter, so it's really quite frigid out but not cold enough for snow. Jump City doesn't receive the snow that looms over Gotham City this time of year, unfortunately.

Rules
Seeing as how we're all adequately literate here, there's not a whole lot I could ask of you all. All I want is for you to make it so that everyone's having fun, and be as considerate as you can be towards your fellow RPers, the characters, and--most importantly--yourself. Also, in order to join in the role play, you must type the word "Technochocolate". MUST. >:D~

OC's are also welcomed with open arms, though obtaining all canons would be preferred.

Amidst the atramentous night sky a fulgent green light hangs over the city of Jump. A few busy heads turn upward in pleasant surprise while others continue going about their far too strenuous business as the emerald glimmer seems to dart across the ebony canvas of the sky in timing completely impossible for a mere human to achieve.

We move in closer to the display and discover said light is not really a light, but rather the unique figment of a slightly...odd looking young woman's power. Emerald radiation emits from either of her burnt orange hued palms and a serious expression settles itself upon her comely features. Her eyes lack both pupils and irises, and glow that same haunting green as her hands do, and we find ourselves a bit taken aback by this uncharacteristically stoic appearance.

The frigid, almost never ending gusts of winter wind blow vigorously against her body, tossing her russet locks in every thinkable direction as her course does not suffer a thing from the weather's fury. Reluctantly deciding to leave this inter-galactic beauty to her lucidly important duties as none other than a Teen Titan.

Allies:
Starfire's allies consist exclusively of her sector's team Dick "Robin" Grayson, Rachel "Raven" Roth, Garfield "Beast Boy" Logan, and Victor "Cyborg" Stone; though she is also known and helped by most all of the Teen Titans across the country, and even a few of Tamaran's greatest heroes as well. Terra Markov could be considered an ally of hers, despite her treachery toward the Titans.

Abilities:
Being a guest on the Earth, Kory cannot help but to feel a bit out of place, seeing as how most of the creatures on this strange, strange planet have no "super human" abilities, which are completely natural to the people of Tamaran. The ability to convert ultraviolet light into energy is used by the Tamaranean's to induce flight. This same process is used for the production of "star bolts" as well as "laser beams", otherwise known as the unknown, notably green, energy blazing from her hands and eyes. Another...lesser known ability of Starfire's is her assimilation of dialect, so to speak. Merely through the act of "kissing", or lip contact, she may learn the primary language her "victim" speaks instantaneously. Unlike the former, one sole ability is specifically what Tamaraneans are known for: Their brute strength. Over eight times her body weight may be lifted with a generally slight strain in her muscles.

Weakness:
A downside to those ever so unique abilities would be that they are completely controlled by emotion, and being that Koriand'r happens to be an emotional being is an extreme disadvantage. Along with such concepts, Starfire either fights far too violently if one of her friends becomes injured, or becomes emotionally distraught, to the point that her gifts simply cease to go on. The loss of lives whilst battling an enemy can have varied effects on her attitude, and in turn, varied affects on her powers as well.

Twas not unlike the estranged Tamaranean siblings to greet each other in such a way, seeing as how deception and a sibling rivalry of unworldly proportions seemed to be the only fuel to the fire of their less than sisterly relationship. Starfire herself had even begun to question her judgment as to how and why she would even consider making an appearance at a surely abandoned warehouse at one of the more…unpopulated docks in Jump City, especially to only be meeting with the one who she was supposed to refer to as a close relative.

Trash, she spat from within the fuming caverns of her ever-wandering mind.

The princess nearly gasped at her thought, having never experienced such a negative sort of chemical pumping through her complex, and all too foreign nerve endings. Suddenly forced back into reality, Starfire glared far too harshly upon the woman covered in both black Tamaranean fabric and armor who’d just begun to speak in that damned condescending tone of hers.

“Still sore, are we? I’m both surprised and pleased to see you’ve come all this way to see me…” the interplanetary criminal remarked with a flick of her wrist before taking a few slightly cautious steps forward.

The simple act triggered a cautious fire in the fellow Tamaranean as well, her pupils and irises alike disappearing in an ocean of flaming emerald, just as her hands lit up with that same slightly ominous light. “Do not do the carousing with me, Blackfire. What is it that you summoned me here for?”

“Patience sister,” Komand’r drawled out slowly until she reached the other side of the empty warehouse, circling her sibling with a grin better suited for the one and only king of turmoil himself. “So your friends weren’t cautious about this? I wouldn’t find them prepared to ‘spring into action’ once opening those doors, would I?”

“I read and followed the instructions sent to me. I told no one. Just as you’d asked, yes?” the princess spoke through clenched teeth, glimmering green eyes never detaching from the hold the wall opposite she and her sister seemed to carry over her.

Raising a small ebony brow, the female chuckled with a hint of coarseness. “And even then you hadn’t been suspicious?” She drew her sickly thin fingers across the undoubtedly warm, nearly orange flesh of the heroine’s upper arm in a twisted fashion, grinning sadistically all the while.

Starfire jerked from the woman’s weak attempt at a grasp and flew up half way to the rickety old building’s roof before speaking again. “I am never unsuspicious of you, Blackfire! If you do not inform me of your intent, I’ll be forced to-“

“Call your friends for help? Can you not fight your own sister alone? Pathetic is all that you are, Koriand’r! I don’t understand how I am a much better warrior and leader, yet you’ve always been the more cherished! You imprison me…twice, your own flesh and blood, and yet you are still favored. You sicken me, I’ll have you know. Completely nauseating.” The former queen of Tamaran hissed as she made her way to the fellow Tamaranean princess.

Taking an immediate swoop backwards, Starfire glared at her unwanted companion as she readied her arms to belt out a slew of star bolts to hopefully give the woman an idea of what would surely come, had she resolved to make an attack herself. “We have discussed such things before! This is pointless if you simply wish to repeat hurtful phrases to me! I am well aware of your negative feelings toward me, and they need not be repeated, yes?!”

“Oh, you misunderstand me, Starfire. You and I are certainly not here to simply talk.” Before the more than suspicious statement could even be finished properly, a crackling orb of purple hued energy had begun to accumulate in the young woman’s palm before she blasted it and its companion that had been accumulating in just the same way in her opposite hand at her sister, who’d found a way to back up against the flimsy titanium wall beneath her limber body.

Howling out in immense pain, Starfire fell from her place at the wall and toppled to the ground in a limp heap. Moments passed by quietly, and the Titan was positive Komand’r had to have yet another powerful blast awaiting her inevitable return to battle. With a deep breath and a quick rise to the ceiling, the teenage alien widened her green eyes in fury as two streams of similarly hued energy hurled themselves from the safety of her pupils, only to strike the intergalactic criminal in the chest.

While forced against the other wall from the sheer force of her sister’s unexpectedly equally matched attack, Blackfire wailed out in crippling agony as star bolt upon star bolt was tossed against her already quite weak flesh.

Koriand’r ceased the blasts for a moment with a purpose, though this purpose would never be found as a bestial force rocketed the pair through the wall and into the murky waters of the Jump City harbor.

Mauve eyes shimmering ever still, the former Tamaranean ruler clawed mercilessly at the petite body beneath her. Eventually, her hands began to gleam with that exact ominous light as her cold eyes, this stung at the broken skin on Starfire’s body before she made a swift kick to her adversary’s stomach and took the opportunity to return to the surface and take a breath.

It was for certain that these events would occur, if not with just a bit more force. Why she’d ultimately decided upon meeting up with that terrible Blackfire was beyond her, and yet here she was. This battle was no where near over, that was also for certain, and the only one she’d be able to count on for a fight of such improbable proportions was herself. There’d be no Robin to swoop in and save her, no Raven or Beast Boy or Cyborg to take her positions for long enough for her to recover stability.

For the first time, there wasn't going to be a Teen Titans to save the day. This was her fight…or at least, she had made it that way.

Name: Garfield Mark "Gar" Logan

Species:Human,as a child, Garfield contracts a rare illness by being bit by a green monkey called Sakutia but then is saved by his parents who use an untested serum on him. This serum has the unintended effect of turning his skin and hair green and granting him the ability to metamorphose into any animal of his choice

Allies: Members of Teen Titans and Doom Patrol.

Abilities: Beast Boy has the ability to morph into any animal that he has seen himself or has seen in an illustration (as is the case when he shapeshifts into an animal such as an extinct dinosaur). These transformations take only a second and Beast Boy has demonstrated that he is capable of rapidly changing his form with little or no effort expended. As a corollary to this power, he can transform back into his default form if an external force like magic transforms him into an animal. His power enables him to completely alter his body mass, being able to take the shape of animals far larger and heavier than himself, such as an elephant, a hippopotamus, or a Tyrannosaurus Rex (though until recent stories, such larger forms would physically exhaust him), or smaller and lighter animals such as mice and insects. However, he cannot change or return to a form if the space he occupies is too small and he cannot normally break the confines (as seen when he attempt to transform into a Tyrannosaurus Rex underneath a bridge and hits his head, instantly aborting the transformation). His power also enables him to radically alter his body structure and take forms of animals without limbs, like snakes, or those without skeletons like a jellyfish. In two notable instances, he has even taken the form of multiple individuals simultaneously (once as a swarm of fireflies, and again as a mass of barnacles). He also displayed this ability once in the animated series, becoming an endlessly-multiplying plague of amoeba.

While as an animal, he gains all the physical abilities and characteristics of said animal, such as great strength (a gorilla), speed (a cheetah), and durability (a turtle), and abilities such as flight (various birds), and aquatic breathing (various fish). He can even gain the specific poison produced by specific snakes. While in animal form, Beast Boy retains his human intellect, memories, and the ability to speak. No matter what form he takes, his skin, hair, and eyes remain green, making most of his animal forms easy to distinguish from real animals of that species. In the early comics, his coloration would change to that appropriate to the animal form he had taken, with only his head remaining green. Beast Boy has also shown the ability more than once to transform into alien animals, including sentient species such as the Gordanians.

When Raven implanted Garfield with an evil seed of her father Trigon, he began to transform into more demon-like creatures. Eventually, he found himself more comfortable in these horrific shapes rather than as a human, and stayed shifted. After becoming completely corrupted by the evil seed, he was used by Raven and Trigon, but eventually returned to normal. Titans #4 reveals that a small part of that seed still remains within him, which Trigon's sons manipulate, using the demonic energies to open the portal to Trigon's realm.

As of late, he has demonstrated the ability to transform into animals many times larger than their actual forms: among others, he's been seen transforming into a human-sized tarantula and a giant snake. Whether this is a progression of his abilities or a new power altogether is unknown.

Beast Boy has gained a new "Super-Animal" form made with the traits, strengths, and abilities of all the animals in the world. This gives him a multitude of abilities from a falcon's vision to beyond a tyrannosaurus's strength. This animal form has a constant feral attitude, and Gar has problems controlling its powers and mental state. This form appears in the Teen Titans animated series as stated below. Species: Half deman, half human.
Affiliation[s]: Teen Titans, and Sentinels of Magic.
Allies: Dick Grayson (Robin), Victor Stone (Cyborg), Kory Anders (Starfire), Garfield Logan (Beast Boy)
Family: Angela Roth, more commonly known as Arella (Mother), the demon called Trigon (Father), and her three half brother's Jared, Jacob, and Jesse (who more or less have the ability to control control and induce the seven deadly sins.
Abilities: With her ability to control what is known as her 'Soul-Self', Raven is able to teleport and fly, create force fields, astral projections, and shadow manipulation, and typically consuming and transferring the pain of another to herself, therefore allowing the wound of the other to heal. It is also said that she has the ability to force emotions into other people and later uses this upon Dick Grayson - making him fall in love with her, as she believes she herself is in love with him. However, this is short lived and relationship wise the only other person she comes in contact with of whom she does actually love is the Beast Boy, Garfield Logan. Also, like her three brothers, she is as well able to induce and amplify one of the seven deadly sins (pride), but doing so causes her to suffer spells of nausea and vomiting. Raven can as well stop time, manifest her emotions into reality, and sense people over short distances.
Weakness: Raven has this ever crippling fear that, like before, she will again become a pawn in Trigon's plot to take over all things good.
