I apologize, Grapey. Lucian's officious little tirade doesn't represent the normal attitude here at FOG. In fact, I'm actually really shocked. Normally, this community is extremely helpful, friendly, and generally really great. It isn't a site for people just learning to write, obviously, but other than that it's generally a great place to be, probably because Fate is the one who creates the general atmosphere, and look at her.

Double posting is something that isn't horrible, so long as the next post doesn't relate to the previous one -- but triple, quadruple, or more posting in immediate succession is definitely not something that we encourage at all; Lucian is right.

Also, Fluff - what? That was really uncalled for. I don't understand what exactly Lucian did here that could cause him to appear in such a way (as being either full of himself or intimidating). As he said, he was merely doing what is expected of him and in a professional way too, I thought.

I'd like to think that Fate made me a mod for a reason. I'm certainly not trying to intimidate anyone, I want this site to expand just as much as everyone else. I've been around since the site's very beginning, and I've known Fate for quite some time.

Welcome to FoG, Surgeon. I've obviously fallen behind in welcoming others to the forum, so I missed you while you were still Gang Rape a Go-Go. However, I would be interested in hearing how you decided upon your new screen name?

I also agree that double posting is frowned upon, but it's not as bad as Lucian makes it seem. I've had to double post in the past, but I usually just use the nifty little Edit button at the top of my posts. This place is active enough that double posting is truly unnecessary most of the time.

I also have a Gaian account, but I was invited by Fate from another forum on which we used to play. I agree that Gaia is seriously lacking in talent, and the spammers seem to have overtaken it. I hope you can find such talented people as you crave here. No... I don't hope... I know you will.
