I read over the information provided for Caligo twice. Off the top of my head, the only questions I have right now are:

1) Does every character who winds up on the island have to have a shade? Or is that strictly for the characters who are born on the island?

2) For role-plays set on the island, are they present day, or can be set in the past?

I was thinking of just having a plain human character who wound up on the island during her honeymoon. Storm at sea, ship sunk, all that completely unoriginal junk.

1) Only your main character can and must be a Caligoan with a shade and all must have at least one Caligoan in their repertoire. Beyond that, you may have an assortment of secondary characters...

though, who says one of those said secondary characters cannot be the one you use most? *wink*

2) It can be at any point in the past. Caligoans are ageless and as such they could have been around at any given time.

Technically, according to grammatical standards, there can only be one "best." However, you could have two "better" friends.

If you go to your Profile ((the one you can edit)), there's a tab that is for the Caligo character sheet. You don't need to make a new thing for it.

Catchy title, eh? I figured I should drop by and say hello and all that jazz since FOG and my newly-born community have affiliated. That, and well ... someone here was nice enough to slip me an invite via PM at another community. Not really sure what to say about myself other than I'm not like most females. I enjoy role-play/writing, I love to read, cook/bake, and I cannot stand shopping. Even grocery shopping is a major pain and I hate doing it >.< I enjoy sports (you can see which ones in my profile), I never wear dresses or skirts, and I prefer a nice pair of comfy, worn out jeans and a t-shirt any day of the week, and I like those cheesy B-rated horror flicks.

And yeah, I'm one of the "slightly-older-persons". Though, age is only chronological. I feel 20, look younger than my age (or so I am told), and I probably act like a 6 yr old on x-mas morning most days of the week. Now, I hate doing math so someone else will have to figure out what age that really makes me.

I have seen the Tetris God!

It takes a nerd to watch the whole bloody thing, but it takes an even bigger nerd to know he's using an exploit in the tetris engine. I used to own that game, so I know there is a way to 'drop' the blocks at a faster rate. The game uses the speed of level 9 for the drop button (which is down on the d-pad). But at levels higher than 9, the drop button makes the blocks go slower.

Meaning that at level 12, if you use the drop button, the block goes at speed level 9.

I have never made it past level 13 myself, so I know that at level 20, he'd have to be using that exploit. I also know you get bonus points for using the drop, and I watched his score increase when he wasn't making complete lines. So...

Though I'm not denouncing the skill. That must have taken a while to get right.
