Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: Star Wars: Force Regeneration
Character name: Kinsa'Ram
Age: 35
Gender: Female
Species: Twi'lek
Faction: Remnant; Kinsa'Ram monitors the movements of the Knights of Law, hoping to intercept any Force-sensitives before the Knights arrive.
Physical description: lilac colored skin, brown eyes, 6'4". She has long since given up the sexual ways of her kind, though her beauty still shines through her basic clothing.
Personality: A philosopher of the Force, she considers herself a teacher of the Jedi life ways, though in truth she is avidly studying the force as a neutral tool, much like the now ancient ways of Jacen Solo. She is calm, and quiet, but quite formidable in appearance and very good at getting people to listen.
Ship: Marauder Corvette
Character name: Anara Ensulan
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Faction: Force Sensitive
Physical description: brown hair, brown eyes, strong toned muscles, 5'7".
Personality: Anara is a day dreamer living on a tiny planet called Olba, which is not a part of the core. This planet has the technological equivalency of Earth's Iron age. Anara is a Blacksmith. She specializes in weaponry, and will make anything that she has the materials to make. This planet is no longer aware that there is a galaxy of beings around them.
As a child, while no one is looking, she would pretend she was a sorceress in the ancient stories. Was it just her imagination, or were some of her pretend sorceries becoming real?

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: Tales of Riv'nar: The Chosen
Name: Amelia Velarde
Hair: Redish-Brown
Eyes: Redish-Brown
Height: 5’5”
Build: slender, lanky
Class: alchemist
Weapons: short sword, two daggers
Character: Amelia is sarcastic and blunt. She doesn't deal with emotion well, so she can be quite awkward to deal with. She is not afraid to give advice, but it usually is tough to handle. She has a lot of pride, and gets angry in situations where she is subdued. She doesn't have a lot of strength, but she can work a blade.
Bio: When Amelia was young, she lost three members of her family to a sickness that had swept through the fortress. Out of the once five family members, it was only her and her father, Tomas, who survived. Soon after the death of her mother and brothers, a series of healers had come through the fortress, healing those who were ill but had not yet perished. In Amelia’s eyes, this had seemed like magic, though most of the healers were in fact not wielding magic, but rather, medicines. It was then that she first became acquainted with the process of Alchemy.
It took much persuasion, but eventually her father allowed her to leave him in order to have an apprenticeship with one of the alchemists. After many years away from home, she eventually became a successful alchemist and returned to open a shop in her hometown of Fortress Rouna. It was only with her father’s help that she was able to open and successfully run the shop. She promised she would not abandon him again.
One day she left Tomas to run the shop for a few days while she went out to collect some of the basic medicinal herbs in the nearby forest that were always in demand. While searching for these herbs she was then found by goblins. Severely outnumbered, she was captured and taken to Soryin. He ordered her to make his goblins a series of potions and elixirs that would aid them in battle. He gave her the choice to do so or die, and so she has been doing his bidding ever since, but only her promise to her father has kept her in check.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Into the Shadow, A Middle Earth RP
NAME: Séodred Equis, Son of Seomyr
RACE: Human
PERSONALITY: Séodred has a military mind. He is loyal to his family, his king, and his lands. He fond of horses, and treats them like extended family rather than animals. He is quiet, but kind, and avoids disagreement when he can. He sets a goal and never gives up until that goal is accomplished, some would say he has a one-track mind. Because of this, he has never sought for love or any hobby or interest other than what pertains to his work as Eorlingas: swordsmanship and horse mastery.
HISTORY/FAMILY HISTORY: Séodred is a Rohirrim Eorlingas of distant royalty. His Grandmother, Thenwyn, was the sister of Thengel, who is Theoden’s father. She married Seodren and together they had a son, Seomyr. Seomyr had three sons; Séodred and two younger brothers, all of them warriors for Rohan under the leadership of Theoden King. Seodred became a Horse Master not because of royal ties; these go unnoticed because he is from a female line. Rather, it is his ability as a warrior that led him to become a high ranked individual, a captain under the command of Theodred, the Second Marshal of the Riddermark.
Rumors of evil reborn were spreading from Gondor; whispers of a gathering with an Elven King in the distant lands of Rivendell were coming from the elves of Lorien. Theoden would not allow Theodred to undertake such a dangerous and lengthy journey. Theodred had to stay in Rohan to protect his people, but he commanded Séodred to take his place and journey to Rivendell to offer services to the great Elven King. Theodred made a pact with Séodred; if needed, he would send a score of his best men to assist him in a time of need.
APPEARANCE: Séodred is 27 years old with shoulder length blonde-brown hair, darker than most Rohirrim, and large brown eyes to match. He has a square face, with deep cheeks that make his cheekbones and chin more prominent. His hair is bound back with a leather strap, but it tends to fall loose across his face. He tries to keep his face shaven, his beard grows blonde and makes his eyes look darker. He’s 5’10”, but looks taller with his helm. He has defined upper body build, the result of being a horsemen and swordsmen.
EQUIPMENT/GEAR: Séodred wears brown leggings and beige tunic under his armor. He wears iron scale armor with leather accents, which have brass and copper decal imbued on them. His gloves and boots are leather with iron reinforcement, as well as knee and thigh braces. His helm is iron plated in copper and brass, with a horse along the crest. A plume of horse hair is secured here, black hair from his own horse.
His horse, named Thenwyn after his grandmother, is his most valued possession, though he would consider her not a possession, but a woman of kin. She is young, a daughter of his last horse, but has her own personality and is very close with her master. Her fur is almost burgundy in color, and her mane and tail black. She is as excellent a horse as he is a horseman, and she is decorated in equipment in similar fashion to his own.
He has a two handed sword, crafted like most of the weapons of his people, with two horses hovering over the hilt of his sword. He also has two throwing axes he carries on his back, and a spear which is kept on his horse rather than his person.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Séodred is a horse master, and can handle any horse with ease, though he prefers his own, Thenwyn. Thenwyn herself has abilities; she is fast, she is well trained for battle, and she and her owner share an intuition. Séodred is excellent with a sword on horseback and on foot. He has fair aim with his throwing knives as well as spear but they are reserved for special situations, such as charging or if his sword is lost in battle. His kind demeanor gains him trust, which can be handy when venturing to lands of a strange race. His determination makes his skills stand out among an army of men like himself.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Caligo: Battle of the Illuminors
ROLE PLAY: Caligo: Days To Come
Illustrated by Fate Foretold
Character Name: Brenna Amadreill
Sex: Female
Date of Birth: October 31st, 1676
Appearance
Brenna is a woman of medium height, 164 cm tall. She has shoulder length dark brown hair. If sunlight were to grace it, one would see red highlights, but in the fog of Caligo it always looks a dull brown black color. She had brown eyes that range from amber to black, depending on the point of view. She is a thin, olive complected woman, with minimal upper curvature and wide hips, and weighs approximately 55 kg. Her ears are pierced, two holes in each lobe, and she always wears silver and opal studs in each ear. Her only other jewelry is a simple silver chain with an opal pendant that hangs at the hollow of her neck, and her wedding rings. The band is white gold with thirteen diamond ships equaling about 1/4 carat. The ring is plain white gold with an oval cut 1/4 carat diamond, set in a marquee setting. She wears a typical black leather vest over a tank top, usually white but sometimes varying in color. She has black soft leather gloves on each hand; the left glove is short, barely passing the wrist, while the right hand is longer, reaching the elbow. This is to give Gabriel a perch when in critter form. She always wears knee high suede boots with blue jeans, ranging from light to dark blue and varying in state of wear. She has a black utility belt that holsters her weapon.
Personality Traits
Brenna strives for balance, just as her parents have done. Instead of trying to have minimal interaction with life in order to attain balance, as some cultures practice, she instead attempts to interact with life in as many ways as possible. She is a jack of all trades, master at none. She enlists herself with many volunteer jobs, and has a wide range of interests and hobbies. She has a passion for knowledge, and fell into the profession of Professor easily. She teaches philosophy and history, and loves to go on archaeological excursions to learn more about the past. She loves to interact with foreigners and learn about who they are and where they come from. She accepts the wide range of emotions, and allows them to take control. She does not believe there can be happiness without sadness, or anger, or love. She does not dwell on her losses, but sees balance in what she has gained from those losses. She is very interested in studying about the afterlife, but because she is a teacher of philosophy she focuses only on theory rather than actual applications. Though it is appropriate for a philosophy teacher to hide their own beliefs, It could be a fear of running into a soul of one she had lost that keeps her from taking her philosophical ideals to the field. Brenna loves her daughter very much, and avoids allowing Gabriel to use his power on her. Lyra was headstrong and focused, opposite from her open minded, easy going mother. Brenna sees her as the yang to her yin, and loves her just the way she is.
Family
Brenna was born to a hard working family, who did their best stay out of conflict and enjoy life to the fullest. Her mother, father, and two younger brothers are all very different from each other, but each personality complements the other filling in parts of a whole. Her parents raised her and her brothers in a close environment. Their family was their core; they needed no one else. They lived together in their parents house for many years after the children had become adults. Her brothers are loners; they have yet to get into a serious relationship, content with the family at home. It was not until much later that her parents were in a boating accident and were both killed. However, neither had been particularly afraid of death, and their three children wondered if they didn't purposely sink their own ship to travel to the after world. Brenna missed them, but felt as though their job had been complete, and she understood their need to move on. Not everyone blessed with the gift truly wanted it. Her youngest brother, Lorus, has a grimalkin shade named Amantha, and works as a mediator/negotiator with disputes that occur around the island. Her other brother, Johan, has a bownyte shade named Aurora, and is a general physician. After their parents death, they lived together in their parents house that resided on a cliff at the edge of the sea. Brenna moved out for a while, when she became married. It was a short, blissful period of her life, where she produced one child; a daughter named Lyra, with a grimalkin shade named Pan. However, when her daughter was still very young her husband disappeared, and she and Lyra moved back with her brothers in her parents house. She knew her husband would not abandon her, and so assumed that he had died somehow, but she never did discover how. Not having physical remains to mourn, she always wondered if maybe he was still alive somewhere. Lyra is now a grown woman, with blonde hair and blue-grey eyes. She is about the same height as her mother, but with a more fiery personality. The overly calm balance of Brenna and her brothers is constantly being challenged by Lyra's outgoing character. Her shade, Pan, has learned the power of telekinesis, probably because of Lyra constantly trying to change the world. Brenna appreciates the aggressive nature of her daughter, for she accepts every part of her life with calm certainty that it is for a certain cause.
Friends and Enemies
Her friends are her brothers, Lorus and Johan, as well as her daughter, Lyra. They are a very close family and rely on each other for love and friendship.
Likes
Brenna has a variety of hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, hiking, swimming, flying, spending time with family, teaching, digging, surveying, dreaming, practicing with weapons, wrestling, volunteering to help with a variety of projects, and more. She also likes to collect things. Her old home houses a collection of random objects, many of which are inoperable. Some are considered ancient, others just trash, but all are a part of her hoard and treated with utmost care.
Dislikes
It takes really strong negativity for Brenna to truly dislike something. Most things that she dislikes stem from ignorance, greed, or hate.
Profession/Vocation: Professor; Archaeologist
Weapon(s)
Plasma Pistol, holstered on belt. This energy pistol can last three days on one battery pack before it has to be recharged. She carries an extra pack on her at all times, in a compartment on the side of the holster. It is a small gun, with good impact. An unarmored individual will be severely injured even if not hit in a vital area. 2 energy daggers, sheathed in boots. These energy daggers also run on battery packs, but last much longer depending on how often they are unsheathed. With minimal use, a dagger can last up to three months without recharging. Left on, a dagger will last about a fortnight before it dies.
Equipment
A list of items in her 'hoard', when she is finished cataloging: *
Vehicle(s)
The Cerberus Hoverbike is an older model hovercraft for land use only. It can reach speeds of 225 kmph, and hover approximately 6 meters high. The bike is equipped with a special gravitational anomaly - when activated, it can repel any object within a meter radius of the bike. These objects have to be light - it will not repel a rooted tree. It also cannot repel something coming from above or below - it's weakness that has been adjusted in newer models.
She also has a watercraft. This recreational vehicle can hover above water, or submerse into it. It can only fit two passengers, and holds enough oxygen for a day's journey but no more. She doesn't frequently use this vehicle, unless she is exploring marine life for scientific query. Part of her doesn't want to use this so she can avoid discovering her parent's sunken ship.
Shade Name: Gabriel
Shade Species: Inklaw
Shade Sex: Male
Shade Ability
Gabriel has control over emotion. He had an acute awareness of the mood spectrum, and can easily pick up the mood of anyone around him, be it human, shade, or animal. Not only can he sense these moods, he can change them. If someone is angry, he can pacify them; if someone is sad, he can bring them cheer. Conversely, if he wishes to stir anger in someone he can do so; if someone angers him, he can bring a cloud of sadness over their head. These are just samples of the emotions he has control of; if a person/shade/animal can feel it, he can control it. Gabriel must first touch the being before he can use his power. He does not have to remain touching them, one brush of his wing is enough to spark change of emotion in the person. As long as he remains near the person, the 'spell' remains strong. Once he leaves that being's presence, the spell will wear off.
Shade Biography
Gabriel spent much of his life in a calm existence, living in harmony with Aurora and Amantha, though they were all different species of shade. His power was rarely needed but often used. That is to say, there were hardly any dire situations that needed his direct control, but there were many smaller ones. Over time, Some Caligoans grew attached to him, using his emotion as a drug and Brenna as a means to achieve it. Eventually, these people were turned away and Gabriel's power was tapped into much more sparingly. When Brenna's parents perished, he had thought she would need him to bring her happiness again. She surprised him though, refusing his offering and handling the deaths with calm composure. It was not until the disappearance of her husband that Gabriel's power had to be tapped into. Just once, he brought peace to Brenna as she struggled through the disappearance. With that peace came a determination that Gabriel had not suspected; she was going to find her husband. Gabriel and Brenna spent many months apart as they searched the island for her beloved. Eventually, Brenna gave up searching and came back home to her child, Lyra, who was being watched by her uncles, Johan and Lorus. Now, Gabriel's main task is to keep Lyra and Pan in check, though he is always searching for information on Brenna's lost husband.
Character Biography
Brenna's parents, Suma and Tomas Amadreill, were a hardworking family who, over the years, had earned enough money to purchase a house on the cliffs at the sea. They enjoyed boating, and had many adventurous stories that they told to their children. Brenna was born October 31st, 1676, their first born. She has two younger brothers, Johan born February 09th, 1683, and Lorus born April 23rd, 1696. The family was very close, and they spent over a century together in harmony. On new year's day of the year 1813, Suma and Tomas went on a boating excursion and never came home. There were many theories as to what happened, but as of today Brenna doesn't truly know. However, her parents had often spoke of the afterlife, and she wondered if they didn't just decide to travel there together. Her brothers and her continued to live in their parents home, not questioning their parents death but rather, accepting it as a part of the natural order of things. She had always had an interest in philosophy, and it was then that she began teaching it. She commutes from her cliff home to the university in Phasmoenia, three days a week. On December 1st, 1927 Brenna celebrated her wedding day. She moved out of her parents house for a time, getting a house further inland, in the city of Phasmoenia, with her husband. After 10 years of marriage, she decided to become pregnant, and a year later on October 22nd, 1938 her daughter Lyra was born. It was the beginning of a new and beautiful part of their life, but alas it was short lived. Early December of 1945 her husband went missing, their daughter only 7 years old. She moved back in with her brothers, and commutes to Phasmoenia once again. She actively sought out her husband for many years, over land and even on the coastline of Caligo. She wondered if his disappearance had something to do with the Flight 19 disaster. Around the same time of his disappearance, five TBM Avenger torpedo bombers flew into the Caligoan territory, wreaking havoc. However, upon investigation no evidence of her husband was found.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Eternal Camaraderie
Character Name: Ella Sumter
Date of Birth: October 12th, 1987
Personality/ Biography:
Ella is quiet and reclusive, but will come out of her shell if someone strikes up a conversation with her. She doesn’t fit in well with most people, having far off ideologies that she doesn’t talk about to avoid confrontation. She’s a social drinker and occasionally smokes a joint, and she deals marijuana on the side for extra cash. She has a legitimate job at a small book store, which she loves. She is smart, and strengthens her knowledge by reading constantly. She’s a total daydreamer, spending much of her spare time writing random thoughts in an old, beaten up leather bound journal. She was taking online courses through a nearby college, but she doesn’t have the means to commute there. In order to finish the degree she’d have to move, but doesn’t have the motivation nor financial means to go out on her own. She had a high school sweetheart, who upon graduation left for the marines despite her begging him to stay. Every year he returns home on leave, but she refuses to see him, her heart still broken. Next year would technically be his last year of service, and she isn’t sure if she is more afraid that he will move back home for good, or never come back again.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Firefly: The Artful Dodger
Name: Celestia Pauga
Alias: Sally
Gender: Female
Age: Born October of year 2486; 34 years old
Appearance:
Bio: At 16, Sally began her training as a companion, and at 21 she officially started her career. For thirteen years, Sally was a very successful member of the illustrious and noble Companion’s Guild. Traveling the Core, many of her clients were high-ranking members of a Core World's administration, though she was not selective on only rank. When the broadcast was emitted across the ‘Verse, she questioned her clients on the matter, and was met with a much darker fate than she had anticipated: she was branded as an independent sympathetic and banished from the Core.
The Alliance had little control over the Guild, and could not remove her from her career. Because she was such an important member, The Guild agreed to give her all the support she needed, though they (and she) realized that her career as a Companion was likely over. The Alliance didn’t bother to try and attack the Guild on the matter; as long as she stayed out of the Core, they wouldn't be hunt her down. It is needless to say that it was detriment to her survival that she joined the independent faction. Her harsh treatment by the Alliance officials gave her a personal reason to do so.
Sally can fire a weapon easily enough, but her true skills lie in melee combat. After displaying these skills she was easily accepted as basic infantry for the independents. Sally chose to hide the fact that she was once a Companion, and keeps in contact with the Guild only when she is in desperate need of information or supplies. The only item from her past life is a beautifully crafted one handed sword, and two small daggers. These weapons were made personally for her, and she fights best with them.
Eventually, she found the base at Serenity Valley, though she never personally met Captain Mal (which she had heard rumors from Inara about). When the Alliance attacked, she ran aboard the nearest Firefly, and was lucky enough to be aboard the Artful Dodger, one of the few that survived.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: The Broken World
Name: Sahlvahandrah
Age: 60
Height: 5'10''; walks slightly bent
Weight: 115 lbs
Description: Because she is a forest dwelling person, she has a lighter skin tone, but their people had not always been in the forest, and hints of this can be seen in their coloring. She has a creamy olive skin tone that has been speckled with age spots, and dark hair streaked with white. While once tall and well endowed, in her old age she has become bent and thin, her clothes hanging loosely on her once larger frame. Her eyes were once black but are now faded and cloudy, giving a grey pupil-less appearance.
Position: A decrepit woman of unmatchable stature, she is the matriarchal leader of the Proherva: the forest people. They are built up of small bands that come together once a year for a communal feast, where she blesses the chiefs of each band. Her job, apart from the blessings, is to direct any warfare outside of their own bands, as well as solve major controversies within the bands. She is also in charge of ordering yearly caches of food for emergencies and drought. Most importantly, though, she is the sole Dreamer of the people: only through she do the gods speak.
Other: She has a son, who through status has become somewhat pampered. She denies him the position of chief, which is not given but earned.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Emoria: A Worldbuilder Project
Username: Ryona Noel
Character Name: Corbina Obscuracce
Familiar: Raven named Gabriel
Species/Race: Human Sorceress…afflicted with lycanthropy
Lycanthropy: Lycan’s plague the deeper hills beyond the plains, and most avoid the villages, but Corbina had an unlucky run in with a rogue lycan. She killed it, but not before being bitten on the arm and infected with lycanthropy. Most succumb to lycanthropy quickly, turning into crazed wolves and never returning back to true form. The sorceresses have discovered a magic which, if used in good timing, can slow the effects of lycanthropy so that the individual afflicted may adapt to it. Corbina was “saved”, though she will always be part lycan. She cannot turn into a wolf, the magic prevents it. If this magic were somehow broken, she would lose all sense of being and turn into a lycan for good.
Physical Description: Corbina is of medium stature, approximately 5’5”. She has brown hair and amber eyes, which have become a bit redder over time, due to lycanthropy. She wears standard robes of her people, and has two weapons: a crossbow, and two long knives. Her weapons don’t require brute strength as much as finesse and true aim, which she has acquired. With the aid of the special magic of her people, her body has adapted to the disease it carries, and she has become faster, stronger, with finer tuned senses, like an animal. But with this blessing comes a price: she harbors much anger, has lost some of her wisdom as a sorceress and many of the skills she once learned she can no longer accomplish. She still has the power to control some most basic spells: these being enchant (enchanting her weapons with fire) and firebolt (hurling dart of pure fire). She also has a fireball necklace, which she can only use twice any given day: it’s power shoots seven fireballs directly at her enemies.
Age: 24
Gender: female
World-Space: The matriarchal sorceresses live in the plains surrounding a large swamp. Many actually reside within the swamp, but Corbina, being a fire elemental, prefers the camps of the open plains. There are no large cities, just small villages placed on small hilltops of the plains, a good distance from the looming mountains beyond. Some of the villages are built within the swamp on long posts, given the image that the village is floating on water. Small rafts are used to get from individual homes to the areas of commerce, which are usually connected with wooden bridges.
Allies: Most sects of matriarchal sorcery
Enemies: Lycans
Religion/Deities: Follower of Wee Jas, the goddess of magic, death, vanity, and law.
Governing Body: Corbina is a member of a matriarchal sect of fire elemental Jasidin sorceresses, led by a Jasidin priestess. It is one of many sects which have different emphasis of magic, and there is no leader to govern the sects as a whole.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: Faire Thee Well
Name: Elisa Luceau
Race/Nationality: Romani (Gypsy) born in France May of 1403
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Appearance: 5'5'', slender, with long unruly brown hair and matching brown eyes.
Personal Belongings (This should be limited to what you can actually carry with you): She carries a coin purse and small knife, both hidden underneath a colorful shawl traded in from distant lands (shawl pictured here). Under her shawl, she wears a black shirt, black and red skirt, red hip scarf with silver adornments, and a silver belt. She usually has many bracelets and anklets on as well.
Personality: Elisa is forcefully outgoing. It is natural for her to be reserved, antisocial, and quiet, but in order to make a living she had to come out of her shell. She had many jobs: One was to trade goods and haggle in whatever market she could find; if there was no product for her to sell or buy, she would dance and preform magic in the streets for money. She is used to being chased away because of her race. Sometimes she stands her ground, but other times she knows that the wisest thing to do is slip away into the night, and find a new place to call home. Though born in France, she eventually emigrated to Rome, and she claims to be Roman Catholic.
Character's Goals (Are they looking for a way to get home, a way to take over the planet, or just a good mug of mead? The choice is yours. Have fun with this piece of the puzzle!): Elisa's first goal is to survive. Second, to find her family.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Six Gun
Name: Chepi
Age: 28
Race: Apsaalooke (Crow)
Profession: Hunter, gatherer
Background: Chepi was raised by Crow parents, who found her in a bundle, abandoned by her previous parents (who were likely killed by white settlers). She was raised as a gatherer and leader of the domestic realm, but due to encroaching white men, the women of her tribe had to learn to use weapons to defend themselves. She is an excellent shot with a bow and arrow both on foot and on horseback. There has been talk of other tribes banding together in an effort to raid the nearby white town, but Chepi wants no part of it. She just wants to live in peace.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: Psychosis
Name: Ashleigh Torres
Faction: The Free
Description: Ashleigh is 19 years old, and one of the more grotesque looking of the Free. At 6 feet tall, she has a demanding presence, but it is in height and not build. She is lanky, with little curvature, like a snake. Also like a snake are her enlarged canines and tongue. She has dark blue skin, gold eyes and black hair that shines with many colors, such as blue, green, red, and gold, when shown in the light. It is left long, with no layers. She is wild and lustful; her hatred focused on whatever is annoying her at the time. She has no idea that her sister is a part of the Open.
Name: Abigail Torres
Faction: The Open
Description: Abigail is 26 year old who was raised by parents who were the Free. Somewhere in her family was a recessive personality which drove her to become a part of the Open, though her family could never know. Most of her family gone, she resides with her sister, wherever she goes, watching over her as the only precious family she has left. Though her sister is a part of the Free, Abigail still loves her and protects her.
In order to survive among the Free, Abigail adapted some free-like traits. She is tall, like Ashleigh, but a few inches less, and with much more curvature which she hides under restrictive clothing covered with baggy overclothes. Her skin has a lighter blue tone with fangs that are slightly elongated. Her eyes are a gold-ish green and her hair is black, which she keeps crop short in order to preserve the ambiguous gender she is trying to portray.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: Shipwrecked Wonder
Name: Joseph Esau II, son of Joseph Esau
Age: 32
Hometown: Unknown
Location: Isla Viado, middle of Sen Ocean
Background: Joseph does not remember much of his heritage, for he was only a child when the ship he was on sank during a terrible storm. He somehow survived, carried on the debitage of the ship with the help of the only other sole survivor, a man who died of his injuries shortly after they made it to shore. Joseph was raised by the Esau family who owned some land and a shop at the only port on Isla Viado. The family holds no desire to see the outside world, content with their life on the island. They also refuse to explain to Joseph how they came to be on the island, and after years of pestering, he gave up trying to figure it out.
Having a severe interest in the outside world (and his origins) Joseph works the shop at port where he gets to meet those crossing the Sen Ocean, from one great continent in the East to another in the West. Isla Viado is a detrimental stop to those attempting to cross the Sen Ocean in wooden sailing vessels. Joseph had more than once been offered a job as a sailor on ships that had lost some of their crew in the attempted crossing; but between his father's forbidance and his own fear, he has never left Isla Viado.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
Villian
Name: Amelia Velhill/Amy Vee
Age: 28
Physical Description: Amelia is a tall woman, about 5’10” with auburn hair and matching green eyes. She is long but muscular, with surprisingly massive hands and feet.
"real world" identity: (i.e. job, family, etc) Amelia is a chemical engineer who worked for Wayne Oil Refinery. She is now a leading professor at Gotham College.
Alias:The Rotter
Costume: Amelia wears a skin tight brown suit designed for protecting her skin from the chemicals she dabbles with, which covers her completely from head to toe. Over the suit she wears a large black coat full of pockets, which holds flasks filled with a variety her favorite chemical weapons. She also wears a gas mask to protect her from any vapors. The under-suit is fire resistant but cannot repel gunfire or knives.
History & Aquisition of Power:
Amelia’s true passion, which she told no one, was biochemical warfare. She was kicked out of University of Gotham for pursuing a dissertation involving her study on creating a new “humane” chemical which, according to her research, could purge Gotham of criminality. Because of this dark mark on her resume, she could only manage a low end job at Wayne Oil Refinery. For a while she was content at this job, and gave up her dreams of a doctorate until an unfortunate run in with death.
Walking to the train on a dark cold night, Amelia was robbed, raped and left for dead in the snow with a bullet in her stomach. Many months later, Amelia woke up as a Jane Doe with hatred so deep, no chemical could cure it. She pretended that she didn’t know who she was, and was dismissed from the hospital without a dollar or a “good luck”. She learned that sex was a weapon on both sides, and became a woman of sexual prowess; in her eyes, if she initiated she could not get hurt.
She broke into the Oil Refinery and stole equipment and protective gear, then she broke into her old home and stole her dissertation chemicals which had been safely stored in the basement of the old house. Amelia met up with some forgery experts who gave her a new identity: Dr. Amy Vee, Biochemical Specialist. Armed and determined, Amelia set out to find a new place to call home and a bigger purpose in life – to destroy anyone who got in her way. By day, she is a chemistry professor at the local community college, and by night, she is The Rotter.
Description of Power: Amelia has the knowledge to create lethal chemicals from common and easily accessed ones. She has two primary mixtures which she commonly uses in attack and defense: the Rotter Acid, which upon contact rots away the skin or inhaled will rot the lungs; and her special “Humane” formula which, upon inhalation or skin contact will make a person drop into a death like coma, which without nearly immediate hospitalization will surely kill. In her secure lab, she is experimenting to try and create a chemical which can force a person to commit suicide, based upon the research of Dr. Isley.
Weaknesses: Amelia is not very strong. She tends to act before thinking, and doesn’t have much of a motive, which means she is difficult to deal with rationally. Her main mode of killing relies on amount of ammunition, so when she runs out, she's a very easy target.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: An Irresistible Quest
Name: Lyka Gala
Race: Human
Class: Mage/Magi
Specialty: death
Homeland: Tikhiti, a southeastern desert land
Age: 28
Physical Description:
Magi Gala is short, reaching about five feet in height. She has long black hair that is tied back in a braid. She is thin, and her skin and eyes are dark, all necessary traits to survive in the desert. She is very weathered in appearance; there is nothing striking about her in terms of beauty, though if she had not taken the path of the death mage she might have been beautiful.
Personality:
Lyka is quiet, with a sense of humor that has been buried during her wandering. While acting as a medium between the spirits of the dead and the living, she is careful about how she acts and what she reveals depending upon her opinion in the matter and what she thinks will bring her more money. She has not, as of yet, outright lied to a customer.
Weapons:
Pair of bone daggers
Armor:
• Leather armour with beetle hide reinforcement, a Tikhitian specialty
• leather gloves, boots and belt
• beetle hide mask
Inventory:
• up to 8 poison flasks
• journal
• book of portals
• food/water rations
Skills (magical):
• Medium/spiritualist
• Corpse Manipulation – possession, explosion, plague
• Soul Harvest – suck life out of enemy
Skills (physical):
• Poison Alchemy (dependent on inventory)
• Close combat, wielding dual daggers
History:
Everywhere Lyka goes, fear precedes her. Those who understand who she is make sure to give her a wide berth, viewing her as a monstrosity, a unit of evil that is not to be tampered with. Only those desperate enough, distraught with grief, dare to approach her, where she uses her medium skills as a paid service. It is not a fear of power; rather a fear of rejection. She hardly survives off of spiritualist work, and if a disease breaks out during her presence, she is always blamed. She is a wanderer, and has been for eight years, never staying in one place for long. She allows people to believe these stereotypes of evil because she is not in want of company, and does not know how to battle these rumors that have scarred her position long before she was around. It is important to note that though she deals with death, she is not in league with the darkness that had long ago taken over the world she was born into. Briefly she toyed with the idea of paid assassin, and has brought plague curses upon people who she was paid to kill. However, she had trouble killing people who she felt did not deserve death; so she does not frequently act as paid assassin, though if the offer was great enough she might comply.
Upon completion of her Magi schooling she left the desert lands of Tikhiti to find peace in life, if that is possible for someone of her status. Death Magi are few and far between, and are praised within Tikhiti but feared without. She had no choice but to follow the specialty that she was destined to be, for fate decides the path of a Tikhitian mage, and hers was death. She has been to many places and has travelled home many times to see her family, seeking solace in the one place in the world where she is readily accepted. Her homeland is poor and her wanderings are in search for money and glory so that Tikhiti might once again prosper. She had just wandered in to (town we decide to meet up at) when she realized that she might have a purpose beyond her most wild imaginations; talk of tracking down the source of the darkness has led her there, where she finds warriors amassing in an attempt to destroy the evil darkness once and for all.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLEPLAY: The Champions of LORE
Name: Asdza Doba
Gender: Female
Age: 423 years
Race: Naagloshii (Skinwalker)
Appearance: Asdza was once human in appearance, but years of manipulating her body have changed her. Her skin, though still tan in color, is made of small scales. Her feet have extended in a more canid posture, scales morphing to black fur at the ankle. Her hands are human, with elongated fingers and claws for nails. She has a long, cat like tail covered in long black fur. Large cat-like ears sit atop her head in a midst of black feathers and hair. Her eyes shine in an animal fashion and the scales have darkened to black on her face. Her nose is feline, as is her teeth.
Personality: Asdza is protective and devoted. She views humans as comrades that she must protect. She views other preternaturals with caution and respect, but those who try to harm are Asdza's enemy. This can give her a somewhat skewed view of the world, since sometimes those who harm are themselves trying to protect. Those that she protects now view her as evil, though in ancient times it was not that way. Harmful things pretend to do good, and vice versa. In short, Asdza struggles to understand the concept of good and evil.
Powers: Transformation
Self: Asdza has the power to transform into any animal of her choosing, via pieces of their body that she keeps in a pouch around her neck. She tends to turn into a crow, puma, black wolf and rattle snake. She can change into anything whose skin she holds, but has not yet changed into anything but these four creatures.
Object: Asdza can reshape material objects. She must first prepare the ritual piece of material, be it wood, metal, plastic, etc. After it is prepared, it has the power to manipulate an object made of that same material; once it is used, it cannot be reused until she prepares it again. Preparation involves invoking the ancient spirits to give their blessing upon the piece, and demands solitude and concentration in order to successfully work.
Other: This is the most difficult of the three transformation stages. The ease of transforming an other depends upon their sentience and awareness to magic. Therefore, an animal is easier to transform than a human, and a human is easier to transform than a magical being. The Other being transformed must be within Asdza's reach and must be unconscious. Asdza invokes the same spirits used in object ritual to give permission to transfer her transforming skill to the other. The Other will be transformed into whatever animal skin Azdza chooses for them. She cannot be in animal form when she does this, nor can she use an animal form while this other is transformed. In order to gain her power back, this Other must be transformed back into its original body. This practice is frowned upon and monitored closely.
Bio: Asdza has always been an ally to her people. In her younger years, she fought against the white settlers, and though eventually her land was lost, her powers helped defend and preserve her people and their culture. It was with the onset of the European that the League of the Other Races of Earth found her and demanded her participation. The only other option would be to go into hiding, so she became a part of LORE and followed their laws and regulations. While she entered grudgingly, she knew it was only a matter of time before she was hunted and killed by the settlers, so LORE was her only hope for survival. For this, she is a devoted member, and serves her people by keeping them safe from the darker preternatural forces. Time heals all things, and she holds no grudge to the now American population. They are a part of her land, and therefore her people.
Why was your character chosen as a champion: Her devotion makes her a dependable character, and her rarity may prove to be important in the future.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: The Battle of Celebrant
.:Aethylwyn:.
.: Born in the year 2484 of the 3rd Age :.
.: Éothéod Shieldmaiden :.
.: Ancestry :.
Aethylwyn is the daughter of Léohelm, son of Aethelred, and Holdwyn, a descendent of Fram. Her mother was a fiery woman with a skill in archery, however, being the mother of three she never attempted to actively fight, rather just defend. Her father’s family traces its descent back to the days of the Wainriders, to one Eohelm who was a renowned warrior and carrier of a famous horn. Her grandfather was a man of much wisdom, a gift he granted to his family. Her father has a brother, named Helmgar. Aethylwyn’s parents had three daughters: Aethylwyn, Léohild, and Helmwyn. Aethylwyn is the oldest, and took control of caring for the others after the death of her mother.
.: Biography :.
Aethylwyn’s family settled in Greybarrow, a small but populated settlement on the western shores of the eastern leg of the Greylin river, near where it meets the Grey mountains. Aethylwyn is the oldest of three daughters. Her mother died only a year after the birth of her second sister; Aethylwyn was eight years old at the time. Her mother was killed defending their home against a surprise invasion of orcs while the main army was away; she killed many enemy before she was slain. Aethylwyn was raised by her father, and being the eldest was expected to take upon the responsibilities of woman of the household, since her father did not remarry. Though she had this responsibility, she still found time to practice the art of war through archery, just like her mother had done. She had begun practicing early as two years prior to her mother’s death, and found solace in learning to fight. As a young woman she has ridden in three separate emergency orc skirmishes, and is proud to say she has slain foe. Her father was recently maimed in battle, he lost his right leg. This injury was devastation to the family, for there were no sons to take up his mantle, and warriors were ever needed. Aethylwyn had the most practice and skill in battle (though all three daughters were at least somewhat trained with a bow, and all great riders), so she enlisted as a mounted archer in place of her father. It was not a hard decision, except for the realization that she would probably never have a family of her own. The second daughter , Léohild, recently got married and left the household to live with her husband, Éadmód; now that Aethylwyn is in the service of the éoherë, her youngest sister, Helmwyn is in control of caring for her father and home.
.: Physical Description :.
Aethylwyn is shorter than most men but tall for the stance of a woman of the Éothéod. She is lengthy, with long arms and legs suitable for riding and archery. Her eyes are dark brown in color, she has dark brown hair which reaches midway down her back; this is kept plaited. Her face is heart shaped, with wide set eyes and sharp, angular cheekbones. Her skin is light olive and splashed with freckles. For ease of riding, Aethylwyn has altered the hem of her dresses to be the length of a tunic, and wears trousers like the men underneath.
.: Occupation/Rank :.
Aethylwyn is a mounted archer of the éoherë.
.: Skills :.
Aethylwyn is a skilled archer both on foot and horseback, she is of course a skilled rider, like all of the Éothéod. She has rudimentary skills with a sword and dagger, and none with a spear, for she is not strong enough to throw it with any muster. She also has many of the skills a woman needs to care for a family; she can cook, keep her belongings and horse well maintained, and mending with a needle (clothes, leather items, even wounds if necessary).
.: Weapons :.
.: Gear :.
.: Personality Description :.
Aethylwyn is fiery like her mother, but with a wisdom that was granted to her through her father’s line. While a part of her wants to be rash, emotional and passionate, she always makes her decision with sound reason. She has a natural knack for archery, like her mother did, but did not choose the path of motherhood. In her eyes, her two sisters can and will take that mantle, but no one will be a warrior for her father when his time came to put down the sword, which has come. She is a hard worker who has learned to balance the realm of woman and man hood, making sacrifices on each side. She has already fought as a mounted archer, but she has only just been enlisted as a rider of the éoherë. She is nervous of this position; she takes it with great pride, being one of the few women who have undertaken this same task. While it is not unheard of for a shieldmaiden to ride to battle, it is rare and still looked on with unease by fellow male riders.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Bram: Hunt for the Irinen
Name: Dyna Lee Cherali
Age: 24
Deity: Ton
Power: Luck. Dyna has the power to tip the scales in her favor. Smaller defeats, like getting a dice to turn, are simple. Larger ones, like getting a bullet to miss her forehead from a fair shot, are very difficult and wear her quickly. Her luck can be bestowed on others, so she tends to be popular to have around.
Weapons: Cutlass, Kukri knife and one flintlock pistol
Physical Description: Dyna is short, about five foot tall, with long, wavy brown hair that the sun has bleached red, with dark brown eyes. Her skin is darkened from long exposure to the sun. She dresses in cast off fine clothing, but when sailing tends to tie up her skirts and forgo the layers.
Personality: Dyna is eccentric, loud, and funny, and is happy to be in the spotlight. She enjoys telling stories that no one can really tell if they are true or not. Her power gives her a knack for gambling, but few who know her bother playing dice with her anymore. For all of her lightheartedness, she is extremely practical and if in a tight spot, her personality changes so seriously one might think she was not the same Dyna.
Biography: Dyna was born to Mr. and Mrs. Cherali, a merchant couple who would deep dive the oceans to find exotic shellfish. On their dives, they would also find historical artifacts, mostly junk, but some would sell. Dyna learned the ways of the ocean quickly, helping her mother, father, and brothers dive for their products, haul them in, and then sell them on shore markets.
She was particularily lucky when it came to attracting customers, and by age six was their prize advertiser when days were slow and people weren't looking to pay full price. She stayed at her parents' side long after her brothers enrolled with the royal navy to go and start their new life. The general plan was for her to take over the business at her parents' eventual demise.
However, one late night finishing up a dive, the storm caught them unawares, and Dyna's luck could not save them all. She found herself washed ashore on a bit of wood, the ship gone to pieces and her parents whereabouts unknown, though survival was doubtful. She didn't have the money or the dedication to try and restart the business, and quickly fell into ruin.
At this point, she survived by gambling, and it was at this point that she realized that her luck was something...more. She was careful with it, purposely losing here and there to keep unwanted eyes off her back. One particular night she was gambling (and beating) the navigator of a cargo ship, when she convinced him of her natural "luck" and asked to be taken on as an apprentice. He did so, and she learned the ways not only of making maps, but of compasses and wind patterns and geography and the subtle changes the seasons would bring. The closer she got to being a master, the more ships wanted her as their navigator, and not just because she was good. The rumor of "lucky" straggled behind her, but she always made sure it was a little too far behind her to be caught by anyone who might not like it.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: Diablo: The Fall of Sanctuary
Username: Ryona Noel
Character Name: Gadrael Izo-Rani
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Class: Sorceress
Physical Description:
Personality:
”A rebellious woman who has wrested the secrets of magic use from the male dominated mage clans of the East, the Sorceress is an expert in mystical creation ex nihilo. Though somewhat lacking in the skills of hand-to-hand combat, she compensates for this weakness with fierce combative magic for both offense and defense. Solitary and reclusive, the Sorceress acts based on motives and ethics inscrutable to most, and sometimes seems capricious and even spiteful. In reality, she understands the struggle between Order and Chaos all too clearly, as well as her role as a warrior in this battle.”
“The Zann Esu, or Sorceresses as they are generally known, are on a quest for purity, the pursuit of the perfect magic. They feel the other disciplines of magic are haphazard, and have instead chosen to focus strictly upon elemental magic. In order to achieve perfection in these elemental transmutations, they choose only those daughters of Sanctuary with the highest level of attunement to the magical elements. The Sorceresses believe that it is through the search for perfection that they will attain ultimate purity and ascend to their destined role as the most powerful mages in Sanctuary. For centuries they have studied in secret, perfecting their art and bidding their time until the Emergence of Evil. Then, they will face their greatest challenge, either proving the purity of their magic or fading from existence.”
Character Biography:
Gadrael was born as Gadrael Belatucadnos in the forests of Altaria, to her people known as Scosglen. She had an older brother with a greater affinity for druidism than most of their people. While all who lived among the Scosglen forests generally follow the Caoi Dúlra; not all are blessed with the magical affinity of calling upon the earth to do their bidding. Gadrael’s parents soon realized that their daughter, too, had a magical affinity. Though she had little skill with the earthly matter that the druids coveted, she had a way with the most basic elements of nature: water, fire, and lightning. She was labeled as a witch of the weather, and while she was not cast out of the community, she was looked at with wariness.
When Gadrael was seven years old, strangers entered the forests of Scosglen. Two women who called themselves Zann Esu pleaded with those who protected the border to let them in. Once they realized it was Gadrael that the women wanted to see, the border patrol reluctantly let the women through. Perhaps these women could help Gadrael and her affinity to the more destructive ways of earth. It was quickly obvious to Gadrael and her family that they wanted Gadrael as one of their own; they were very polite, and put little pressure on the family, but they often spoke of a great reward. Not only would Gadrael be trained as a Zann Esu, the family would be compensated for many years for the loss of their daughter.
After much deliberation, and seeking council with their fellow people, it was decided that Gadrael should be allowed to leave with the Zann Esu if she wished. They knew that her magic could not be honed by any knowledge or skill that they possessed, and hoped her training would be for her own benefit, as well as for the benefit of the entire family. Gadrael was terrified of the strangers, but she was also intrigued. In the end, she decided to go with them. The family refused to treat it as a transaction and would not take payment; however, for many years, items of value were left at the edge of the Scosglen forest.
She studied for many years within the Kehjistan Jungles. Some sorceress’ grow an affinity for one element, and Gadrael’s was that of water, especially ice. Upon completion of her training, she was renamed Gadrael Izo-Rani.
Previously, the only Zann Esu seen outside of Kehjistan were recruiters. However, times were growing darker, and the elders of Zann Esu were warned that the Prime Evils were drawing near. A few sorceresses had been sent across Sanctuary to investigate, and Gadrael was one of them.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
ROLE PLAY: The Sign of Darkness
Name: Letha Oddgeirsson
FOG Username: Ryona Noel
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Race: Human
Class: Sorceress
Appearance: Letha is 5’7’’, with tanned skin, weathered by coastal work. Her eyes are dark green-brown in color. She has long brown hair that reaches far down her back, two small braids hidden underneath which she uses to tie the rest back when necessary. She wears a leather corset over a once-white shirt, and a green wrap held up by a leather belt. Her boots reach her knees and are also made of leather. She wears leather gauntlets, and the only piece of metal armor is a cap for her head. She has but one physical weapon; her staff, a piece of thick wood nearly as tall as she, with a blade inset on the end, giving it the appearance of a weapon crossed between a scythe and axe. Her most prized possession is her bag of holding, a precious item used to carry vast amounts of cargo in little space and with little weight.
Skills: Letha is a sorceress, an elemental mage with a great capacity for weather manipulation. Most sorceresses learn to do more in their time, but Letha is of limited ability. Every time she casts a spell, or a spell is cast upon her (or even near her) she loses consciousness. This ranges from extreme dizziness to full unconsciousness which can last days if the spell was strong enough. For the most part, she refrains from using magic unless it is very simple, or is in the utmost of need.
Due to her limits, Letha has also become adept at fighting with her staff, following weather patterns, general sailing and fishing techniques (for she is often aboard a ship), and acute observations of her surroundings. She’s also really good at falling down.
Personality: Letha is, above all else, stubborn. When she sets her mind to something, it takes a hurricane to distract her from it. She is touchy on the subject of her inability to handle magic without falling unconscious, and has grown to have a fierce temper because of it. She cannot stand knowing that her life is in the hands of someone else should she have to use a major spell. It makes her angry with herself, and so she lashes out at those around her. She also has an uncharacteristic streak of humility, likely due to the teasing she endured as a child.
Biography: Letha was born in a small fishing village named Spraefyn in the northern part of The Empire. Her father was a fishermen and her mother prepared the fish to sell to the merchants. She and her four brothers worked hard for their parents to keep business going and food on the table. Hard work and the disgusting smell of gutted fish was all Letha knew for the first seven years of her life. Then strange things began happening. The only relation of these events was that Letha would be found unconscious wherever the event occurred. The village began to claim that she was possessed by demons; her family tried to protect her to the best of their ability, but even her own mother began to fear her.
News of this took wing, and when Letha was nine a Mage named Xradius came to Spraefyn. He was able to explain that she had an affinity for sorcery; he hypothesized that being unable to train properly was causing her to faint, for she was probably using too much energy at once. He took her under his wing and trained her as a sorceress. Letha did have an affinity for weather manipulation, and could calm or raise magnificent storms. However, by age thirteen Master Xradius gave up hope that she would ever be able to properly handle magic.
This mage eventually took on other students who quickly surpassed her abilities and mocked her excessively. She endured this for years, before finally going rogue at seventeen years of age. Before she left, she stole Master Xradius's bag of holding. She then began earning her keep protecting ships and ports from destructive storms. She tended to stay on the move, fearful of Master Xradius finding her.
Twist Allergic to Magic (causes unconsciousness)
Other: Letha prays to the goddess Ila, The Wise Mistress.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
Chepi
Age, 15
Apsaalooke (Crow)
'Gatherer'
Chepi lives in northern Wyoming in relative peace with her father and sister. Her mother died giving birth to her young brother, who did not live past two years. Her sister just gave birth to her first son, who has yet to be named. Her early experiences with the white men have been in trade, though stories have been told of them being a dangerous creature. She learned some of their language when she was younger, after helping some sick travelers. In later years, the Crow began plundering the white man, though they would not go so low as kill them (unless in battle). She has no experience with weaponry, but can easily survive on the land like all of her people.

Re: Gadreille's Character List
Name: James Roe
Age: 27
Deity: Arch
Power: None
Weapons: Two sabres, three concealed knives, two flintlock pistols, one flintlock rifle (standard make), a few gunpowder bombs of his own creation.
Physical Description: James reaches an enormous height of 6'6". Unlike most taller men, James has a naturally slight build that took years to increase in muscular stature. He has grey eyes and dull brown hair that he keeps pulled back. He has many scars that cover his entire body: one on his left arm, three on his right, a thick gash to his thigh, a stab wound on his torso and another on his shoulder (ridiculously close to his heart) a few nicks here and there on his neck, face, and hands.
Personality:James is unnervingly quiet. He never speaks unless spoken to. It is rare to see him laugh, unheard of to see him smile. He doesn’t sing, and his only footwork is in dueling. He does what he's paid to do, but rarely has respect for another person.
Biography: James grew up with a wealthy family and four older brothers. The eldest (John Roe) was to inherit; the second and third (Jacob and Joseph) were sent to apprentice at other wealthy businesses who owed the Roe's a favor; the fourth and himself (Jared and James) had nowhere to go but a boy's boarding school which would eventually raise young sailors for the Royal Navy. While Jared followed every rule to perfection, James was rebellious and always getting in fights. Anger was the only emotion he ever showed. At 16, he was kicked from the program and told to go back home. One of the teachers happened to have contact with an illegal system of for-hire mercenaries. He gave James an address and told him, “If you are ever going to gain any honor for himself in the eyes of Arch, you won’t go home.” James looked up to his teacher, and went to the address. Four years of rigorous training later, James was sent on his first assignment. No new mercenary ever knows that their first assignment is staged and observed. James executed his target with unusual efficiency. Thereafter, his assignments were executed with only a few mistakes (and those mistakes were punished severely both physically and through payment). Within the next few years, he became known as a blade master (the assignments he missed were usually range attacks…but he never missed with a blade).
Occupation: Mercenary for-hire (posed as a swabbie)
Current Ship: The Golden Albatross
