I go by the name of Silvone Elestahr. I was invited here by Kalon_Ordona_II to participate in one of his roleplays. I live in California with my wife and son, and I hope, someday, to actually write my books, get rich (right!) and die happy.

As far as roleplaying goes, I will roleplay just about anything that doesn't concern the real world. That is, contemporary stories in a slightly (or greatly) altered reality, fantasy stories, science fiction stories, or anything in between. The reason I don't like stories set in our world specifically is because it sets unbearable limits on my imagination.

I am also a fan of games that aren't based on our reality. I don't like the limitations, either, but I also find them boring because I could probably go live it, so where's the fun in role playing it?

Welcome to the forum, friend. I hope things work out for you here, and I can understand feeling constrained by reality-based roleplaying, though I tend to also think that some of that constraint is a personal feeling of not knowing enough to sustain authenticity; it's why I try not to deal with things involving finance or math too much in my RP. I stick with what I know and RP in those areas.
