Cronicles of Narnia 3
I don't know if anyone has heard yet, but there comming out with a third Narnia movie. Its called Cronicle of Narnia 3: "The voyage of the Dawn treader".
I know a guy that is in the movie playing as the Fawn leader. A small part for him, but a good way to start off in his career. He tells me the director plans on making 4 more Narnia movies after this one. THey kind of only just begin filming so they might not be done for a while, but I think its worth the wait. It turns out Crronicles of Narnia is a book series....who knew....i didn't {If you did please tell me} He also plans to be in everyone of them and plans on making his own movie. He half way finished his movie plans for Vampire Knight.

Tee hee. I saw the OLD BBC version when I was little. It was 6 VHS's long. It included the first 3 books; The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Silver Chair.
The Silver Chair was by far the weirdest of the three. At least it was in the BBC version.

Well, I knew they were books; I just didn't know how many were in the series.
As long as the third movie is better than the second (and hopefully on par/better than the first), I'll be a happy camper. You know, except for the possibility that Susan won't be in it, since they said in the last movie that she and Peter(?) couldn't come back.

Which leaves just two of the four through the rest of the story.

Actually:
- Spoiler:
- The two older ones do not get to go back, but they go to their cousins. The cousins are younger, so they can go. This makes a story with 4 again. In the Silver Chair, the last two are two old, and the story follows the two cousins. At least that's how I remember it.

Re: Cronicles of Narnia 3
The "Chronicles of Narnia" are a series of seven classic children's fantasy books, written by writer, university professor (Oxford and Cambridge) and Christian apologist C.S. Lewis from the late 40's/early 50's.
The books, in chronological order for the story are:
1. "The Magician's Nephew"
2. "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"
3. "The Horse and His Boy"
4. "Prince Caspian"
5. "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"
6. "The Silver Chair"
7. "The Final Battle"
And they are worth the time to find and read, in and of themselves, if you get the chance.

Re: Cronicles of Narnia 3
Oh wow... Who would have ever thought the writer was knowledgeable about Christianity?
/sarcasm
Sorry. I just think the blatant Christian undertones are kind of annoying. I also thought the fact that they can stab each other without getting blood on their swords was dumb. I don't care if it's for children. If you're going to stab someone, there needs to be some sign of a wound. If not, don't show the damned sword.
The movies were kind of bleh to me. I can live without them. However, Ben Barnes is kinda cute.

Re: Cronicles of Narnia 3
Actually.
Remember when Peter stabbed that wold leader guy? In the BBC version, you see the sword covered in blood, and Azlan (sp?) says to Peter, "Peter, clean your sword." And then Peter wipes his blade on the grass.
Superior British version is superior.

That's all right, Kathryn, it's not for everyone. Even Tolkien, one of Lewis' closest friends, didn't think much of those books because he was not a fan of allegory.
And the blood on the blade, Diodri, is in the book as well:
~C.S. Lewis, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe"You have forgotten to clean your sword," said Aslan.
It was true. Peter blushed when he looked at the bright blade, and saw it all smeared with Wolf's hair and blood. He stooped down and wiped it clean on the grass, and then wiped it dry on his coat."
Just a side note, if you're interested. Given the choice in most anything, I'm always going to choose the book over the movie version[s]. XD
