So, I was in the neighborhood...
And I thought I would stop by and check out this site! Especially after a good friend gave me the address. I sat on it for awhile and lurked a couple times around the forums reading some of the people's works. I was happy to find a copious amount of people here with great potential! Just as well I was completely intimidated by some of the work I read/started to read. Not intimidated in the literal sense, but intimidated into a state of inspiration - really - it made me want to be a better writer. I figured that with that aspiration in hand I had finally found a real reason to join other than to just sit and lurk.
My name is Justin and I would like to say hello.

Welcome to FoG, Justin. We're glad to have you here. I'm glad to find that you're inspired to be a better writer just because you've been reading some of the work others have produced. This is definitely a good place to better ones' writing skills in my opinion.

Hi there, Justin! I'm Fate, one of the Admins here.
I think that it's a great idea that you've lurked for a little while before deciding to join. That's a wonderful way to better help determine if a place suits you or not. We certainly do have a lovely collection of great role-players here! There's no need to be intimidated though. Those same writers whom you say you were a bit intimidated by probably said the same thing when they joined (as it happens frequently!). ^^ It's a fabulous thing though that it drives you to want to be a better writer. That is always a good thing.
Well, it's great to have you here! I hope that you enjoy it.

This was here yesterday and I hadn't noticed! O: There has to be an easier way to find new posts...
Welcome, Mr. Bear! I'm far too lazy to even copy and paste your name! Anyways, I hope you like it as much as I am. You inspired me to be a better writer, too!

Re: So, I was in the neighborhood...
Thank you for the welcomes! I can't wait to become less of a lurker and more of a participant, but unfortunately I'll be a little busy Monday-Wednesday. for the next couple of weeks. Just hopping on in the very little bit of time I have to say thank you!
...and of course give a big right back! Panther kitteh' says "HI!" or maybe he was just yawning...either way he's well taken care of
Can't wait to participate and once more, thank you all!

Of course panther kitteh's well taken care of. If he weren't, he'd just nom you in your sleep. Or maybe steal all the covers. Or the pillow.
Or all of the above. He's a bad kitteh like that.

You should take a trip to Alberta, one of the few places left that's still 18!

Meh. I don't drink. It's not worth it when my boyfriend would break up with me over it.

Each to their own Kathryn, I hope I didn't offend. I was in a similar relationship myself.

Re: So, I was in the neighborhood...
Okay, so this might be the most anti-climactic introduction anyone could give, but I came home on Thursday and booted up my PC to nothing but BIOS, so...I hope I will be able to even lurk soon.
Also, you Canadians are a silly lot...Bagging milk is also the single greatest creation in the history of milk technology.

Hmmm... what from my box o' tricks do I use to greet this one....
We're going to miss you... sorry you had to go. We had so many bad times together and you didn't write many stories. Don't take care T_T
Now, who can translate this into the exact opposite of what it means?
