We seem to be getting a lot of Gaians here lately. I also play on Gaia, but I was friends with Fate on another board which is how I was invited. Gaia's just too disappointing as of late for me to do much more than play with the "paper doll" thing.

Yeah, I have the feeling I may be switching alliances. ^^; Aside from my discussion guild that I run there also, the RPing is a little less than what I'd like it to be.

And Gaia RPs are all I've ever known, so I'm actually really eager to get going with this, now, since everyone is saying how much better it is!

Unfortunately I'm not going to jump in until after band camp, just because it'll be easier that way, so I'll have to wait 'til Thursday when I get back to really experience all this.

I know what you all mean about lacking Gaian roleplays, but I dunno, there are still a few good ones out there. I'm in one. o:

I'm in the pit (or, 'scuse, "front ensemble") so I play, like, the marimbas and vibraphones and such.

And yeah, I'm in a really good Gaia RP, too, but lately it's been slowing down. *despairs*

That's pretty awesome. The marching band at my college doesn't have a pit, but we do have percussion. During the second half of the year, though, we've got a pretty awesome pit for regular band! I've always been tempted to put aside my trumpet for a semester to try my hand at drums...

I know what you mean about slowing down. A bunch of people have dropped out of the one I'm in by this point, but I'm just happy that those of us who are left are determined to keep going.

Haha, yeah, I used to play clarinet, actually, but this year we got way too many clarinets, so they started pulling a bunch of us to fill up the pit. But my mom is actually the one who made me play clarinet, and I'd always wanted to play percussion anyway, so it was really pretty much a blessing for me. I love percussion, it's fantastic, and we have lots of fun. I'll still play clarinet for concert season, though, because I do kinda like it, despite what I tell most people. xD

And yeah, that's kinda how it is with this one I'm in, but one of the most important members is going to be gone for two weeks, so we're kinda frozen without her at the moment and it's really frustrating. xDD Once she gets back, though, I'm pretty certain things will pick up again.
