Fakanna is the actual owner of the Frozen Maiden, however, aboard the vessel she is just the financeer and the linguist.

The Frozen Maiden

Fakanna is the typical serene looking (ex) princess. Though her ruling had never come to pass due to the unfortunate passing of their earthly protector Saga, Frankie is still always dressed in the robes of her once proud race. A smile is not always worn as much as it should, there is something intriguing yet familiar about Frankie. Some have even claimed to remember her, though not able to put their fingers on it, most ignore her.

•• w h e r e t h e s o u l h i d e s

Showers of auburn grace like the reflection of the setting sun painted across an emerald ocean. Eyes that sparkle like the stars in heaven, it is not so hard to find truth and emotion captured in these sorrowful doe, always open doors for all to bare witness too. For Fakanna, it is near impossible to convey secrets, for it is to say that she is an open book and a horrible liar, why should her windows to her soul be any different? If you want the truth, just stare deeply into her eyes, you will find it there whether she wants you too or not.

•• f r ii z z a n d f r o

Unlike most princesses, Fakanna has little to no time to spend brushing near golden-brunette locks till the sun starts to set. Falling down to the small of her back in beautiful and thick layers, it sometimes gets in the way more often than not. To the touch it is elegantly soft, but only in thanks to the sea-weed shampoo she had started to purchase years ago. Maintainability is fairly simple, however. How easy it would be just to chop it all off and carry on, Fakanna has grown attached to her long hair.

•• ii d r a t h e r b e n a k e d

Clothing is hard to find in Fakanna's small size. She is both tiny in build and in frame, which makes it difficult to find tailors that can hem down a good portion of fabric. From what Fakanna has found resided in the remaining treasure troves of her own closet, having been ransacked, it was hard to find anything that matched entirely. A strapless corset with a silken ribbons that run the length of her torso. A black skirt and heavy layer of petticoats keeps her secrets hidden, for the most part. White boots and armlets adorn the rest, along with the occasional hair ribbons and scarves. During the hours where it is coldest, Fakanna owns a few fur coats that fit to her form and stretch all the way towards her feet. The colors depend on the day and how she is feeling at the time.

Fakanna is a special sort of human that has magical properties due in part of her place in life prior to the fall of Lesaud. Trained along side her sister Jacoba, both had possessed a necklace that gave them certain powers depending on the necessity of the task at hand. For Fakanna, this necklace activates seven ancient stones of light and darkness, each with its own symbol. They can be shifted into altered shapes at will, as long as Fakanna can focus. These stones act like a safety mechanism if ever the necklace feels she is in danger. Without Fakanna the world would perish entirely, so, it can cover her body and become a sort of light armor, present itself as a weapon, or be used as throwing objects that do heavy amounts of damage to whatever object it is being thrown at.

The Seven Stones of Sarrus is a very powerful tool that only the blood line can call upon. These seemingly harmless rocks, no bigger than the size of a half dollar, can be used in whatever method needed when the time calls for it. It has been passed down from generation from generation and for Fakanna, the tradition would not stop at her.

There is no way to tell how life is going to grab you and take you to places you never thought possible. Everything comes and goes without warning, and if you are not careful you are sure to lose the things that you love most. It is the same with every creature, great and small, on Lesaud. Fakanna, however, was a young girl living in a beautiful and large world where even with such great power, felt entirely small. Her sister on the other hand, was the exact opposite.

Born to the long a prestigeous blood like of the Karhnhams, Fakanna was second of two children to Arkaim and Zrena Karhnham. Jocoba was eight when her younger sister was born, and though she was a blessing, it was entirely in disguise. Zrena was told by healers that after the birth of her first she was not capable of having another. Fakanna was not effected by this notion and was born as healthy as can be. Jacoba was not in the least bit happy, due to the clause that puts all siblings of the royal family in charge of ruling Lesaud no matter their age. Sharing her thrown with another was too much for her pride, and thus treated Fakanna like she was nothing more than garbage.

Fakanna however, never took it to heart, most of her time was spent bothering her father during his work and forcing him to play hide and seek with her throughout the endless corridors of their castle. Through the halls one could hear the happiness and joy that was shared amongst this family, gently whispered to all travelers, since the Karhnham's were not private people. Fakanna played with all children of different statuses, though no one was ever truly poor because the world was prospering.

At the young age of fifteen, both daughters underwent a series of tests to prove their worth to their family that they could protect Saga and their castle. Three battles had been arranged, and though Jacoba had passed the test a few years back, she would have to work side by side with her sister to beat all three tasks before receiving her crown. It was then, during the last and most difficult battle that Jacoba threw down her necklace and abandoned her sister, who nearly lost her life had she not eventually pulled through and came back victorious.

Jacoba's abandonment pushed Fakanna into a depression her father had never seen before, and though they tried to cheer her up, nothing was bringing that warm smile back to their youngest daughter's face. The princess remained this way until it was her turn to take responsibility over Saga, and was brought to life once more during her first night at his side. It would be the first time she had ever seen her sister in years. Three bandits apprehended her and drug her down to Saga's threshold in order to keep her from sounding any alarms. Watching with no words to describe her feeling, Saga was murdered by her own sister on her watch. Feeling as though she let everyone on Lesaud down, Fakanna ran out of the chamber as one by one the bandits and her sister fell to the floor.

Reaching the castle her father and mother were laying in their bed chambers, dead, swords having pierced their hearts. Fakanna watched as the guards awoke as if they had all taken a quick nap, and then realized the damage that had been done with Saga's passing...

Since then, Fakanna has taken the shell of the Book of Memory and began her search for the clues that would bring the world back to its former glory. Because Fakanna has not even been out of Karhnham, she hitched a ride to Lumis and with the money she took from her home, purchased a boat that would lead her around the world to find those lost clues. With her own memory intact, she will have to hire a crew and come up with reasons as to why she would need them. If Fakanna was not careful, she could destroy the whole excursion and it would then again be her fault for all of Lesaud's problems...

Beauty is self declared, but you will not find those sorts of words escaping these lips. Fakanna is a very down to earth oblivious kind of girl. She understands when she is given compliments but does her best not to acknowledge them because in her heart she feels that she is undeserving. That is where her sorrow comes from. With the death of Saga and her beloved parents, Fakanna feels it is her personal responsibility to emotionally punish herself for something that deep inside she knows was beyond her mortal control. However, her sense of duty to the world is stronger than any doubts and sorrow in her mind.

A bit of a push-over, Fakanna seems to be falling out of place in the world. Before, when the world was a beautiful place she had been able to speak to anyone and make friends with them, now, people will shove themselves into her and she will merely keep walking or apologize when clearly it was not her fault. This leaves her open for personal attack and harsh words which she does not have the heart to stomach. Timid is the best word to describe her. But that is not to say that Fakanna is afraid because she is the farthest thing from it.

Duty is an important part of her persona. If there is something that Fakanna must do or say or act, then she will find a way whether her heart and mind are telling her otherwise. Though she has not made friends in this new time period, if Fakanna was subjugated to friendships, she is very easy to get along with once it is safe to open up to them. For the most part, it is good to come at Fakanna from a more mellow and serene angle than just attempting to befriend her out of the blue, it could scare her off.

▲▲ Tea: One of the few remaining luxuries left in Fakanna's life. In Lesaud she is no longer a princess or someone with equal importance, just another face lost in an expressionless crowd. However, that does not mean she cannot enjoy one of her favorite past times at least once in a while. Lumis offers the best seaweed blend that is both rich in minerals and rather sweet, one of Frankie's downfalls.
▲▲ Dreaming: In her dreams nothing can harm her. Her family greets her with open arms, awaiting the smile of their younger daughter. Sometimes, it is dreams that allow us to maintain our sanity...
▲▲ Reading: Most find it preposterous that she can even read at all.
