Hiya everyone! I'm Lily Evans (huge fan of Harry Potter if there are any fans here) and its a pleasure to be here. I roleplay a lot on www.roleplaygateway.com if anyone knows it, and I'm a fan of most roleplay genres, but mostly focusing on anime and fantasy. But don't be surprised if I pop up elsewhere! (And yes, I'm generally silly.)

We have several Harry Potter fans here. I enjoy the series, but I'm not a crazy amazing fan like Fate is. Avatar: The Last Airbender is where my fanaticism takes control.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here. Most everyone else does.

I'm a big Harry Potter fan, but more so the books than the movies. And compared to my sister, it's like I hardly care about the series at all. -_- But it's awesome to meet you! Be silly all you want, no problem.

Lol, I was just invited like half an hour ago. So yeah, I love to try out new sites. And that's awesome that there's so many fans here. I'll have to start a Harry Potter roleplay. Used to have an HP site, but it kind of died. Aww, Ronnikins and Luna huh? That's cute! I'm a fan of LunaxNeville. And of course, HermionexRon or HermionexDraco. I can't help it, I adore HermionexDraco. The mudblood and pureblood.

A Harry Potter roleplay sounds awesome. It's been a while since I've been in one.

I loved the way HermionexRon was portrayed in the books (up until number 7), but I secretly like HermionexDraco and HermionexSnape when it comes to fanfiction. I don't know why, but I don't like fanfics involving HermionexRon. Don't have any set likes or dislikes for other pairings, though...

Likewise, I didn't really care for book 7. Yay! Another Severus fan. I adore him. I think I like SeverusxGinny more than HermionexSev cause Ginny looks a lot like Lily, his previous love, which is also my favorite couple of all. LilxSev forever! <3 But yeah, I could imagine that seeing Ginny would haunt him with memories of Lily.

Oh, no, I actually don't really like Snape (except in the occasional fanfiction, you see). But I do see what you're talking about with that pairing (I don't think I'd support it, though, since the age difference between him and Hermione is bad enough...).

I do have a friend who's, like, Snape's biggest fan though. She might be slowly rubbing off on me.

I am one of the biggest Severus S. Snape fans in the carolinas. The north side specifically. He was my favorite character in Harry Potter besides Hermione. Yeah I know what you mean about the age thing, but Ginny's only a year younger. Lol its fun to play around with it though. Hm, this gives me an idea for a fanfic!

(I have two or three accounts on fanfiction but my Harry Potter one is Jasmine_Dawn_Pendragon)

The book Hermione is sooo much better than the movie version... I kind of hate the Hermione of the movies because the girl that plays her is a terrible actress. The others progressed in their acting skills throughout the series, but she just sort of stayed the same... It's sad.

Aw, I love Emma Watson.

But I do agree that book Hermione is better than movie Hermione. All of the characters are so much more fleshed out in the books...

Hm, I love them both, as I think she portrays Hermione okay, but the book Hermione is and will remain my favorite.

My brother's got a crush on Emma Watson, but hates Harry Potter. Go figure, huh?

There are other movies to admire Emma Watson in, so he shouldn't have to worry too much. For now, just watch Tale of Desperaux over and over. It's amazing.

Oh is she in it too? Lol. I'd rather go and watch the new HP movie in a few days. Dang it, they had to switch the times they came out - they used to release them on my birthday, or close enough in November.

Ah, hehe, I wasn't referring to a Luna and Ron pairing, though that would be really interesting. I just like both those characters. Oh wow, I love the HermoinexSnape pairing! XD That'd be...very naughty haha. Oh, but I do love Snape quite a lot too.

Hmmm... welcome to FOG, Lily, and wonderful to have you! I'm nowhere near the Potter fan that you are (though I've read all seven books, and enjoyed them for the most part), and certainly never participated in an RP based on that world, but I do look forward to seeing what you will be writing up in the future!

As for the latest movie? I took my youngest daughter to see it yesterday. Compared to the previous movies, it certainly was an improvement, for sure.

And as for Tolkein? Please let me be [obviously not the first, but at least one of the many] to compliment you on your excellent taste.
