72 Hours in Mongkok
As some may have heard, I've fallen in love with Hong Kong cinema, which kicks the shit out of Hollywood. If any one has seen such movie, Like Kill, by John Woo (or any of his movies), or a new one called Invisible Target, you know what i mean. if you don't well, it probably don't matter, but I am very ashamed, and you should go rent some HK movies.
Check this out though, so you know the feel I'm going for.
The Killer
Or this:
Invisible Target
---
So, now that you're in the mood for drama and action, here is what I postulate.
A RP about a group of cops (You guys) in Mongkok, the most densely populated city in the world, chasing a ruthless gang (played by me), involving drama, action, and a ridiculous about of property damage and bodies counts.
Whaddaya say?
EDIT: Right, I almost forgot, I'm toying with the idea of starting in media res, (the middle) and having a broken timeline. I'm not sure if that would be possible though.
And how bout another short scene from Invisible Target?
For good measure.

I'm glad!
HK movies usually have endings you don't expect, which deviates from Hollywoods crap. The hero does not always win, and sometimes they die. Kinda like classic tragedies.
Glad you're interested! *Waits for more peeps*

Oh, there will be broken everythings. I'm thinking of posting a proviso where power playing is acceptable, because in such movies, there are certain things that can't be done.
IE: Fighting off 20 sword wielding Yakuza's with just 2 friends and martial arts.
But just because we are a little super human, doesn't equate ti invisible, but i think we all understand how to balance this.
I think I'll try and wait for one more, or we could just run with you two as partners, or even run mutliple characters. Even civilians. What do you guys think?

I'd be down with starting now! We'll probably get more interest once the OOC/IC thread is up and people see how great we all are.

Hell no, I want to join in on this. I mean, a Hong Kong style, John Woo shoot-out scene filled action extravaganza? This is the shit I live for. Its the reason I'm joining Law Enforcement. (I know, kind of hilarious right? And yes I know the real world isn't like a John Woo movie, but you still get it, right?) I'm in to play one of the cops.
